I preached ten sermons in Kuala Lumpur at the Masters Conference. Now I'm going to be pitching four times tomorrow on Saturday and then three times on Sunday. So that's the schedule.

But I appreciate you guys' plans for me and I'm really grateful that you guys are carrying on. And I just wanted to give you an update, let you know everything is going well. Tom, you have 7 to mirror.

How was the Chilamook ice cream? Hey, you know, the Tumamoc ice cream was just as good as it was in Oregon, yeah. They had a couple of tubbies there.

I was really surprised. But, uh, not that the local ice cream was good. So, yeah, everything's good.

I haven't paid for any of my food. I have nothing. So, they're supplying everything.

My mouth shall tell of your righteousness and your salvation all the day, for I do not need your image. I will go in the strength of the Lord God. I will make mention of your righteousness in years only.

O God, you have taught me through my youth, and to this day I declare your wonders worked. Now also, when I am a holy man, O God, do not forsake me until I declare your strength to this generation. Your power to everyone is to come.

Also, your righteousness, O God, is very high. You have done great things, O God, who is like you. Verse 20.

You have shown me great and severe troubles, shall revive me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth. You shall increase my greatness, and make enter me on every side. 22.

Also with the link I will praise you, you and your faithfulness, O my God. To you I will sing with the harp, O Holy One of Israel. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to you, and my soul which you have redeemed.

Well, I guess the ball rolling, yeah. Well, as we see here, and we talked about yesterday, this is David Holder. Of course, with enemies, he's being present.

And as the ball holder rolls around, it seems to be more useless, if you will. But David here, His folks are aging quite differently because he is determined to love God. And he is determined to serve God to the very end.

And despite, you know, he may be losing his balance. He may be losing his eyesight. And the whole night look at him is useless.

But he turns it on and he lives at 14 and 15. As he gets older, his praise increases. And he's going to continue to worship God.

He's going to continue to glorify God. And as we read on through the second half of the text... We also see that he is not depending on his own strength.

He is depending on two attributes that are not his, but that have sustained him, even from his youth through many trials and battles to this very time. He is depending on the righteousness of God, and he is depending on the strength of God. Again, two attributes that are not His own, but are available to Him and available to each of us as well.

That God is in the present, and He's going to continue to serve Him. And he's going to continue to lean on him. He's going to continue to grow in faith and praise to him.

And not a doggone thing that age and his decline can do about that. I think one New Testament picture of that was the end. 2 Corinthians 4:14, we see that as the body fades away and declines eternally, we are renewed each day.

And that is clearly David as his body declines here. He is renewed day by day. And though many in old age may be just resigned to maybe sitting by a window and looking out, he's not resigned to anything, but really he's recognizing a reassignment to share to the coming generations.

far ahead of him, if you will, the things of God. He's setting a precedent, not only for those in his presence, but for generations to come. As we look upon this text in his life today, what an example we have, can you tell us that example?

All true, and he does realize that he is getting older, obviously. Let me turn this one up, that's a little bit here. He does realize that he is getting aged, but he still relies on the Lord 100%.

He is in the message version, starting at 12. This is, um, this is interesting. God, don't just watch from the sidelines.

Come on. Run to my side. Just that verse, it's up to me that he is, he is, um, what do I, what I'm looking for?

He's got his doubts about his perspective on God, or he's got his doubts that God is there with him. Anybody else, uh, share that? Uh, just, just sharing that, what is that?

A perspective that's not true. Over. That's not true, is it?

I can't... Yeah, go ahead, Kevin. Well, no, that's not what he's saying, you know.

He knows God is with him, and we see that as he continues on there. But, anyway... Turn to me and be tender to me And I'll take up the lute and thank you To the tune of your faithfulness, God I'll make music for you on a harp Holy one of Israel When I open up a song to you I let out one small praise My rescued life, a song All day long I'm chanting about you in your righteous ways While those who tried to do me in Slink off looking ashamed There you go WP430 Wow Yes, go ahead Roger Well, uh, I end up at 5 o'clock playing during the old folks' home, so to speak, when they eat There's 40, at least 40 of them, some of them I know, and I take my hymn book and I play either hymns by memory or those that I see in the hymn book.

And that kind of reminds me of Fridays for me. And I take kids too for hymns. I still play the harp and the lute.

or the lyre means he has to, even in his old age, keep those calluses on those fingertips. Is that a good job? Over.

Again, is this the piano that you play? I'm mainly focusing in, well, really the only instrument that I'm really focusing in on is the viola, the large viola. and it even got my attention then.

It doesn't matter what you think. What you hear and the praises of the people really impacts others. So, anyway, good comments.

I'm going to start back a little bit here on this. How about verse 14? Knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus...

will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. That sure sounds like 1 Thessalonians chapter 4, doesn't it? For all things are for your sake that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.

And then verse 16 that Kevin was highlighting. Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. That's what Kevin highlighted for us today.

Over. Isn't that great stuff? Yeah, love that.

I was thinking about Max doing what he's doing in Hong Kong, and the impact, talking about affecting other people, his impact of speaking to pastors and others, and how this continues out further and further and further and impacts literally thousands and thousands of people. even in some of these countries that don't even allow that type of preaching, etc. And music is certainly a part of that.

Music catches on, teaches us the joy of praising. And I love the way David states all of this as well. I was just looking at Psalm 71, 19.

Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the high heavens. You have done great things, O God, who is like you? Of course, nobody is like him.

Our reference goes back to Luke 149. For he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. A lot of these cross-references go right back to other psalms.

And, of course, Isaiah 40, 18. To whom, then, will you liken God or what likeness compare him? There is none.

Exodus 15, 11. Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Boy, that question, we've talked about that before.

Among what gods? There are no other gods. Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?

I don't think so. I don't think there is any other. Anyway, there's my perspective.

Well, go ahead. Yeah, since we were talking about music, verse 22 says, I praise you and your faithfulness, O God. The whole psalm is about that faithful-based relationship between God and David.

Okay, I'm sorry about that. Yes, this was our partnership, which is what was supposed to be happening with us as well. My wife, I watch her just all day long, every day, and I watch her grandma.

Grandma Wondering. Every other word out of her mouth was praise Jesus. even though she could hardly say it with her clacking teeth.

But personal relationship, every day, every hour, every minute. And I have learned after being married to my wife for 50 years, this is reality for her and for me. Just look around, watch what's going on in your life, and say, praise Jesus, and throw your arms up, over.

I'll explain it to you eventually. But the carpenter end of it is what tore me up. And they're finding furs and all kinds of old goodies in there.

And they've got to make a decision. But I think you want to put me in the PT first. and then go from there and then the last result is going to be surgery.

And we pray that she and her husband Caleb and Grandpa Keith will receive much peace and comfort from you, Lord, as they go through this time. We continue to lift up our brother Ed, his family, his brother-in-law Ed, and his wife, our native family in our house. We just send them up qualified fire.

For real, you owe me five bucks. We pray for his hormone treatment, radiation, to be effective in Australia. and removing his prostate cancer and giving strength to patients as he prepares to receive that treatment.

Also, we're glad to share his wife Martha Favins. We've often praised that she has been recovering well from her broken toe. and please ask for each and every healing about the company of the people, please.

For Joe K87WBB, we join him in lifting up his brother Jim, for the years of his head injury. And our brother Jeff, aka 6OK, who prays with me. Now that the Bible's been shipped out to our troops everywhere, and he just asked for one to not get permission and help him through the battle of the resistance and the roadblocks that are sort of his way and he tries to complete that mission and bless what will work.

So please, you know, Fidos would say that the Fidos soldiers and even be a blessing to all that they come into contact with. I also bring better health with lupus as well as with MS. And we continue to pray that little Boone, a two-month-old, now can get praise that he's recovering well.

Well, now he still has got his asthma continuing to grow. and give him some increased mobility. And we also are continuing to pray that he has a hope for his new electric whistle chair to come through and to be able to receive that.

And that we pray that he'll be able to get his antenna up off the ground and up where it belongs so he can be back on the air and full power. Now we lift up Brother Ben, and he continues to pray for his new permanent head injury. so that his vision and his hearing will be restored.

And also we pray for your neighbor Nancy, in need of healing from her terminal cancer. She also is in need of salvation. We pray for her.

We pray that, and I'll be praying that Sandy's cold is now fully healed. And also we continue to pray for Jasmine's loss and recovery for her next surgery. Thank you.

Which day is greater than the hour of death? It is the day that is due to the recovery of the severe disease. and pray that the ongoing treatment is effective in his recovery and he teaches me to pray for Cody to meet his goals in her salvation.

We have days to endeavor to maintain our moral conditions and are attractive to the person in the beginning of the wildfires and other disasters. to get back to the safety of the responders. They were involved in the rescue and recovery efforts, and for the victims of those disasters, and the disasters that occurred, to receive some relief.

Please join us today at W6YFI for the Salem Home and Child's California and the Trump-Kent-Bogs-Wisdom Day. and what they find is doable to persons in trauma and trauma. All of the work done has the daughter Misha still recovering from her neck and back surgery and we can give praise for the progress she's made.

For Scott, Katie, and Robert, by duty, we continue to praise their life now. But there's a third one that I would only wish. Praise their daughter, Chief, not their own illness.

We pray for Mike, a.k.a. 710, but he just had a whole body scan, and they found stage 4 cancer throughout the body. Now we pray for treatment options for him.

We ask for our churches and ask for the protection of all our churches, our church leaders, and particularly churches that need leadership, that they would fight. effective and passionate shepherds. We need those to walk.

We lift up the mid-west rival studies, comes out at 4:00 a.m. Pacific time, on 3962.5. And for Darrell, WB7AOT has controlled his health needs.

For Roger WB7BBL, we pray for his mission and to all be put into contact with him for all that he does in the lives of everyone he has missioned. We lift up Caleb and Levi that are both in need of salvation. For Brian KJ7PW, his son Bailey, the heart of Joey.

and the success of their new construction business. Sir Kevin 87 said he lives with Harvey this might be a and actually has saved him and probably on the off-lens. He also wants to start a fair work job using rehab for his leg.

So we can help reform our nation and our government, the leaders of our country at state, national, and local level. We just ask you to bless us with wisdom and guidance to lead the country on a path that leads to you and your will. And we have been amazed with things that we were able to establish a QFL with Patrick Mack and his wife, Gabby, this morning and just for a blessing on the mission that they're teaching and preaching.

Now in Hong Kong, we just give thanks for the safe travel there and the success of their mission there through September 10. That's what we have on our list today, Lord. We just thank you for everything.

And we thank you for this time together. And we just ask that you don't leave me again. Just walk over all of us and keep us well and safe.
