good morning, WB7, these are L, AK6, OK. Yeah, looking forward to another session on 68. Yep, we're going to do 20 through 32 today.
We're going to take a big chunk out, and tomorrow we'll wrap this up, go to 69. Roger that. WB7, Mike Alpha X-ray.
Mike Alpha X-ray, go ahead. Whiskey Bravo 7, Mike Alpha X-Range F, I can't hear you, I don't have the Utah SDR on. I heard Roger, WB7VZL, good morning Roger, how you doing?
Did you say you're Mike, over? That's Max. That's Max!
You're, you're talking to me, over? Internet connection here is really bad. For some reason it's very poor.
So I just wanted to let you know that I preached twice today. Things went really well. And we had a good reception, good crowds.
And anyway, I'm headed off to bed. But I just want to let you know that God's answering prayers and God really helped me with a few sermons. I'll be preaching Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday seven more times.
So anyway, love you guys, and I'll chat with you later. For some reason, the Internet connection is really poor. I don't know how well you can hear me.
Roger, WB7VZL, come back to me because I can hear you. I can't hear you. There he is, Skyrider.
Referring, I think, obviously to the power in the clouds. Think he is Skyrider, striding the ancient skies. Listen, he's calling in thunder, rumbling, rolling thunder.
Call out "Bravo" to God. Well, it is definitely going to be seven degrees in hell. No, it isn't, Roger.
Well, I just didn't -- I kind of disappointed myself in the sense that we pursue this idea that Eric highlighted that in Ephesians Paul uses this psalm. And it certainly related to Paul as a messianic passage for us because he uses it for Christ who gives gifts. And in the context of Ephesians 4, that was spiritual gifts as Eric highlighted.
come out there and meet maybe two or three references to other places in the Bible, but not here. And that's what's been the challenge for me on 68. There are just references everywhere, and it actually gets confusing.
This is where I've had some challenges myself. And when I rely on you otherwise to jump in here, there are much more wisdom than I am and he is not too great comfort and the way the world's running right now Wow what can we rely on we look at the daily news I don't care what news or network you watch man it's scary stuff We know that God's got this. Somehow we know that God's got this.
So thank you. That's a very valid comment, I'm sure. And yeah, in 19, blessed be the Lord.
He daily bears us up. God is our salvation. Ephesians 1:3, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places." Psalm 32:7, which we've already read before, "You are a hiding place for me.
You preserve me from trouble. You surround me with shouts of deliverance." It should be a great comfort to all of us as we proceed on daily. I know that I am very concerned about what's going on in the world.
I'm concerned for my kids and my grandkids. The best thing we can do is give them this message and say, God is your hiding place. Can't find that.
Follow up. Go ahead, and then we'll get you, Kevin. Yeah, follow up on verse 19 in Psalm 55, 22.
It says, cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. Can't find that.
Yes, I see that here, too. Thank you so much. You're correct.
That's in Psalm 55, 22. And, yeah, thanks for that. Thank you.
comment. Very valid. And is that you, Kevin?
Yeah, thank you for that, Will. Yes, it's very true. And also, just look at verse 20.
Anybody that's ever stood at a grave site should know this verse, because God is our salvation. And it really connects with Revelation 1, verse 18, too. you can look that up as well.
Our hope is in Him. He is eternal and He has conquered death. KB 76.
Yep, absolutely. Our God is God of salvation. This is 20.
And to God the Lord be born deliverances from death. And yes, Revelation 118. and the living one I died and behold I'm alive forevermore I have the keys of death and Hades so there you go and the Deuteronomy 32 39 see now that I even I am he and there is no God beside me I kill and I make alive I wound and I heal and there is none that can deliver out of my hand alright any more comments good morning God bless you Roger, I think it was a dumb one there.
Who else was there by the side? Roger? Just a sec, Roger.
Yeah, 87ES. Yeah, go ahead, Jerry. Yeah, there was another station in there right before Kevin a few minutes ago.
I couldn't quite figure it out, but I thought I heard Scott. up there in Buckley, 87YQT, I thought I heard him in there. And also just real briefly, the scripture that Will highlighted, you know, for tier 57, and then it says, "Casting all your care on him, because he cares for you." So, or cares for us, so I think that's a few text that reference as well.
So yeah, I think that's 87YQT is in there. Okay, thanks very much, Aaron. Scott, go ahead.
Yeah, actually, that was not somebody else. I'm just here listening, so... Okay, Scott, was there somebody else with a comment?
Kevin? Yeah, Kevin, go ahead. That wasn't me this time.
Okay, somebody else was talking. Was that you, Roger? Yeah, I'm just waiting in line to work that out.
But thank you for including everybody that we can, Eric. I just wanted to underscore, what Kevin has constantly emphasized, that the 2 Samuel 6, 2 Samuel 6 event of the most sacred... furniture that represented the very throne of the universe.
When it came to Jerusalem, it was a truly big, big emotional experience for David, because he recognized the symbolism and the awesome experience where that piece of furniture was only seen once a year on the Day of Atonement. It was so holy. It was representative, like I say, of the throne, the center of the universe.
And David... led this huge procession into Jerusalem that had never been there before. The Ark had never entered Jerusalem before.
So the uniting of Jerusalem, the city of peace, with this piece of furniture was a huge, huge event for David. In fact, David was the first person to enter It was so big for David that he was so exuberant in praising God's goodness, like what we see in Psalm 68, that his wife thought he was so inappropriate, Michael, and she chastised David of basically exposing himself. is highlighting the most emotional experience we see in the scripture for David in praise and worship of God.
Back to you, Jeff. Well, you articulated it much better than I, Roger. Thank you for that.
Yeah, thanks, guys. God's holy presence must be approached in worship on his own terms. to move her out a little bit, who was concerned.
And so he touches the unstable ark to steady it and instructs it by God. And this happens because they transported it on a cart like the Philistines did, instead of having the Levites carry it as God strictly commanded. And then after destroying the ark and opening it in the house where it brings blessings, David moved it correctly with great joy, sacrifices and humble...

========== ### Scripture Reading (KJV)
Ephesians 4:7-16 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the age of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
### Study Summary
The Bible study session centered on Ephesians 4:7-16, where Paul discusses the distribution of spiritual gifts within the church. The passage emphasizes that Christ, after his ascension, bestowed various gifts upon his followers to equip them for the work of ministry and the edification of the body of Christ. These gifts include apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, all aimed at perfecting the saints and fostering unity in faith and knowledge.
Participants delved into the broader themes of God's omnipotence and his role as a protector and sustainer. References to Psalms 32:7 and 55:22 were made to underscore God's role as a hiding place and preserver, encouraging believers to cast their burdens on Him. Revelation 1:18 and Deuteronomy 32:39 were cited to highlight Jesus' eternal life and God's control over life and death, reinforcing the idea of divine sovereignty and eternal salvation.
A significant portion of the discussion revolved around 2 Samuel 6, which recounts the event of the Ark of the Covenant being moved to Jerusalem. This narrative was used to illustrate the importance of approaching God's presence on His terms, emphasizing the need for reverence and respect in all dealings with the divine.
Throughout the study, participants shared personal updates and prayer concerns, reflecting on the relevance of these scriptures in their lives. Specific prayers were offered for healing, recovery, mission work, and general well-being, with a particular emphasis on favorable weather conditions and safety for rescue and recovery efforts.
The session concluded with a prayer and closing remarks, expressing gratitude for the Bible study and the opportunity to grow in understanding and faith. Participants were encouraged to continue speaking the truth in love and to grow in Christ, reflecting on the importance of unity and the proper use of spiritual gifts within the church. ==========
