I think my message is getting something handy. I think I got a little bit of commentary here too, which is really interesting. And then Marge got some comments.
um is gladness and extra rejoicing for the righteous. We can't help but be glad in God's victory. So I love the way David puts all of this.
He's laying this out the way it is and saying, if you're like God's people, you'll be put on notice here. As God is a God writer. Wow.

I got some commentary, some cross-references to 68.2, as Roger was talking about. As smoke is driven away, so ye shall drive them away. As wax melts before fire, so the wicked shall perish before God.

We're going to go to 68:8 now. "The earth quaked, the heavens poured down rain before God, the one of Sinai before God, the God of Israel." Um, that's just 1918. Well, Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the Lord had descended on it in fire.
The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln and the whole mountain scrambled, greatly. How do you know about Mount St. Helens?
Oh, when it blew up. That was nothing compared to what they talked about here. Um...
Wow, Exodus 19:16: "On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, and a thick cloud on the mountains, and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people of the camp trembled." And again, this is all through the Bible. Deuteronomy 5:23-25: As soon as you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes and all your elders, and you said, Behold, the Lord our God has shown us glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we've seen God speak with man, and man still lives.
Therefore, now therefore we should, we, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voices of the Lord, our God, any more, we shall die.
