And that we just thank you that we can use amateur radio and media for being able to spread the word. And Lord, I would ask that you would help me that does not know you as Lord and Savior, that they might be convicted and make that change in their life, Lord. There is nothing more important.

in Psalm 14. There's a lot of duplication here with Psalm 14. Nevertheless, the Spirit of God saw fit to inspire in the Word of God a repetition of some of the earlier teaching that have been given to us in Psalm 14.

And so, like Paul says, he's stirring up our pure mind by way of remembrance. And so we need to be reminded of the same truths again and again. And so we are revisiting what the Holy Spirit saw fit to repeat in his word.

Now, our passage today in Psalm 53 is an observation and a declaration of the folly of human depravity. As we view the human race at large, whether now or throughout history, whether here in our own state or across the globe, it's clear that men are fools and that human depravity is universal. men the world over and men throughout history have denied the authority of God the existence of God and have substituted a god of their own making in the place of the true God they've created God in their own image who approves of their own wicked desires and behaviors and who justify their evil ambitions now as God this behavior of the human race from his throne in heaven, he finds humanity to be corrupt, abominable, and haters of that which is good.

People turn away from truth and righteousness, and they become increasingly filthy and degenerate. And Paul takes this passage, and he quotes it in Romans 3, verses 9-12. in an indictment of humanity regarding their human depravity.

And so what we see from this passage as well as Romans 3, that the mind of the unsaved person has been darkened, their emotions have been twisted, and their will has been subverted. Mankind does not seek after the true God. In fact, they're all at enmity against God and hostile toward God, as it not only says in our passage, but also in Romans chapter 8 and verse 7.

Now, the reason why mankind is in this terrible state that God characterized as being fools is the fall of Adam. When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, he not only sinned against God and came under the wrath of God, but he also became corrupted and fallen and depraved in his nature. And this fallen nature that Adam has was passed on by birth to the whole human race, which, of course, all descended from Adam, with the result that a depraved nature, hostile toward God, is universal to all mankind.

But the good news is that even in the face of this enmity toward God and this hostility toward God, God has been pleased to choose out of this mass of fallen humanity some to be saved from their depravity and their sin, and they're subjected to the wrath of God. And he's done so through the coming and the saving work of his son, Jesus Christ. And so among this mass of fools who refuse to acknowledge the authority of God and the existence of God, there's a relatively small number of people that God has saved and made to be his people, people who are changed in their nature and in their destiny by divine grace through sin.

regeneration but the remaining mass of fallen humanity are not content to be at enmity against God they also set themselves against God's people our passage says they eat up the people of God like they eat bread and devour the righteous with their persecutions. And so their hatred toward God is manifested in their hatred of his people. And they strike out at God by striking out at God's people.

And so God then rises up to protect his people and deliver them. And he's displeased when people assault him. those that belong to him, and he defends them.

So what we have in this passage then is a description of human depravity, the destructiveness of human depravity, and then God's deliverance of his people from human depravity. So that's a little background to our passage, Psalm 53. Jerry AE7ER is going to read for us Psalm 53.

Jerry, please go ahead and read for us. The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt and have committed abominable injustice.

There is no one who does good. God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of man and see if there's anyone who understands who seek after God. Every one of them has turned aside.

Together they have become corrupt. There is no one who does good, not even one. And the workers of Lincoln are so knowledge.

Who eat up my people so they ate bread? and have not called upon God? There they were in great fear, for no fear had been.

For God scattered the bones of him who encamped against you. You put them to shame because God had rejected them. Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion.

When God restores his kept people, let Jacob rejoice. Let Israel. Let Israel be glad.

KJ7 PWM and after that we'll get you Kevin Brian KJ7 PWM please go ahead I see you on that i'll copy that yeah we got you off the sdr but now we got you by voice so you're double checked in brian thank you for being here all right kevin kb7 zxn go ahead with your comment kb7 zxn well very good yeah good introduction to this and it is interesting with this um there are a couple of NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCES, YOU KNOW, FROM PSALM 14 AND THIS ONE, THOUGH THEY'RE ALMOST IDENTICAL IN MANY PLACES, IN MANY WAYS. PSALM 14 USES THE NAME FOR GOD, YAHWEH, WHICH IS, WE KNOW, THE PREINCARNATE LORD, THE ONE THAT -- THE COVENANT GOD, IF YOU WILL, THE ONE THAT IS IN COVENANT RELATIONSHIP WITH with his people. Here in Psalm 53, it uses the more general term for God, Elohim.

And the consensus is really in Psalm 14, it's more of a personal psalm and one reflected from the struggles from David. and his reflections, whereas here this has more national implication, if you will, for the nation and for those opposing God's people in a more general sense here too. But the, and verse five's a little bit different there.

But the, like as you pointed out, you know, the first Psalm 14 is in the first book of Psalm. This is in the second book of Psalms. But the gravity of the message is what's really important to note.

And as you pointed out, Max, we need reminders. and repetition. I don't know how many times I've heard some say, well, you know, I just keep preaching the same message of the gospel.

I'm sure people get tired of it. Well, no, we never get tired of it. hearing the message of the gospel, it's woven throughout the word of God, it's woven throughout the various events and God's interaction with his people, and it's woven throughout even songs like this that identifies the calamity and the folly of denying God, which, as you point out, mankind by its natural state would do.

KB7, is that accepted? Yeah, Kevin, thank you for pointing out the contrast and comparisons between Psalm 14 and our Psalm, Psalm 53. And yeah, you know, that's interesting.

I didn't realize that, that Yahweh is used in Psalm 14, Elohim, and Psalm 53. One deals more with the personal impact of human depravity. The other deals more with the national impact of human depravity.

And we see both of those things operating in our day, don't we? So the people that we personally know that are in rebellion against God, well, there's a pretty good description of them. And then when we look at the national stage and our nation's character in general, it describes that as well.

And you really see that on the national stage in so many ways. So, yeah, you know... This passage is a good reminder to us of the problem that humanity has.

It's also a good reminder to us of the problem we had before God saved us. This is who we were. And we need to really be humbled and thankful that God tucked us in.

out of this my repeat, out of this horrible clay, and delivered us from our depravity by regenerating our hearts and drawing us to himself. Because this is who we were, and this is what God saved us from. And then as we turn around and look back on others who were in the condition we were once in, we have mercy on them.

We don't think we're superior to them. We have compassion, and we call them out of darkness and into light. And boy, if there was ever a description of darkness, this passage is it.

All right, well, while you're thinking, this WB7MX, that control, I'd like to talk about this first verse. The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. And we have to talk a little bit about what the definition of a fool is.

True. A fool is someone who believes and acts contrary to reality and reason. Okay, we have reality, we have reason.

They tell us things, they convey information to us. And the fool says, I don't believe that information. I'm not going to operate according to that information.

And we would liken it to someone who thought by flopping their arms they could fly off of a plane. of a 50-foot cliff and have a soft landing at the bottom, you'd say, "Wait a second! Wait, wait, wait!

Don't do that! That's foolish!" Why? Because jumping off of a cliff and flapping your arms is contrary to the reality of gravity and aerodynamics.

It just doesn't work. But the fool is the guy who decides for himself what he wants reality to be and then simply just declares it to be the case. He arbitrarily dismisses any evidence to the contrary, no matter how compelling it is, and he willfully rejects the truth in favor of a false construct of what he wishes were true.

And so that's what people do. They reject the reality of God and their responsibilities to him, his law and the consequences of disobeying it. The day of judgment is coming.

And their need to humble themselves before their creator. That's all reality. Well, they just dismiss all that, right?

As though it's not true, it's not going to happen, and they can defy that and have no consequences. And the reason the fool willingly embraces the false construct of reality... is because it's more pleasing to him than the truth is.

His depraved nature doesn't want to believe the truth because that would require repentance, it would require humility, and it would require submitting to the authority of a superior, namely God. And therefore, he operates by prejudice instead of reason. and by what he prefers rather than what wisdom would indicate.

And he operates according to his desires instead of according to the evidence that's actually there. And so this is what the fool is. This is how he operates.

I'm sure that you recognize this in a lot of people that you deal with that mock the truth and think that they're false construct of reality. is actually what's going to be true in the end. All right, a little definition of a fool there, a little explanation of how they think and how they operate.

Yeah, KB7, ZXN, I really love to hear from others too, but you know, you made some excellent points there, Max, and it is so true. you know to deny God the fool has to continue to remind themselves tell themselves that there's no God no God I call them no gods because for them to convince themselves even superficially they have to tell themselves try to convince themselves there's no God you know Psalm 19 gives us a beautiful witness that no matter where you turn you're going to see God. You're going to see God in the breadth and the depth of His creation.

You're going to see it if you look into His Word. It's going to jump out, and the Spirit of God is going to grab a hold of you and reveal Himself to you. And then you've got a decision to make, and some of those make that decision, well, I'm just going to continue to tell...

myself there's no God because I don't want to be accountable to God. And I want what I want, and that's that. But occasionally you do come across those that genuinely may believe and be convinced that there's no God for a period of time or convince themselves, but they will maybe go off to prove it.

They really want to know. Well, at some point in their life they think, well, maybe i'm wrong maybe i and and and how many atheists have we heard throughout the years that began to set off whether attorney or whether a scientist or what have you that that go to set forth to disprove that there's a god and in doing so by looking into god's word by looking and And weighing out the evidence, as they try to build a case against there being such a God, all they do is validate that God is who He says He is. And they become believers, they do repent, and they do walk with God.

Yeah, you're exactly right. The no gods, they have to actively keep telling themselves that to deny the reality that God is who he says he is and as he's revealed himself in his word. KB7 is at Excentral.

Kevin, really well said. Thank you for bringing out those ideas. Yeah, the evidence for God is overwhelming.

If you guys have got your pencil or your pen, just write these things down. How do we know there's a God? There's five ways we know there's a God, all right?

Number one, creation. Kevin brought this out, Psalm 19. We know there's a God because of creation.

Right? Number two: Conscience. Okay?

It says in Romans chapter 1, I think it's verse 18, "That which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it unto them." Every person is made in the image of God, and therefore they have a conscience. And that conscience tells them that there's a moral law of God, there's a moral governor in the universe, And that's why they feel guilt when they break God's law. So how do we know there's a God?

Creation, number one. Number two, conscience. Number three, Christ.

God has shown up in human history in person, in the person of Jesus. How do we know there's a God? He actually came and visited us 2,000 years ago, demonstrated himself to be God in every way, and gave us the revelation.

You know, in the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was God.

The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. So there's creation, conscience, Christ. And then, fourthly, there's communication.

And the communication we have, of course, is the Bible, okay? The scriptures from Genesis to Revelation bear abundant witness to the existence of God. Were there no God, that book could have never been written in the way it was written, with all the fulfilled prophecy that it has, with all of the beauty, all of the balance, all of the continuity, all of the depth of insight and understanding it provides of things that we would never be able to grasp on our own.

So that's the fourth C. We have creation, we have conscience, we have Christ, we have communication, which is the Scriptures. And then fifthly, we have conversion.

People actually are changed when they believe the message of the Bible. Classic example, Saul of Tarsus, right? I mean, here's a guy who hates God, he hates Christians, he's out stoning people like Stephen to death.

And yet suddenly he becomes the foremost proponent of Christianity, writes half the New Testament, and lays down his life for Christ. How do you explain that kind of change unless there is supernatural power at work? And you know, you've seen the change in your own life if you are saved later in life.

There's no explanation for that, but that there's a God, and a God who is able to take out that heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh, and is able to make you into a new person. If any man be in Christ, he's a new creation. Old things pass away, all things become new.

And so not only do we see the creative work of God in history past in making the world and everything in it, Genesis 1 and 2, but we also see the creative work of God in the new creation of conversions. So, yeah, it's a dumb thing to say, oh, I'm going to dismiss creation. I'm going to dismiss my own conscience.

I'm going to dismiss the historical witness of Christ. I'm going to dismiss the entire Bible written by 40 different authors over 2,000 years that contains a coherent, and non-contradictory revelation. And then all the people, what do we have?

Hundreds of millions of people that are contemporary to us who are converted and lives are transformed. So, yeah, you have to be a fool to deny all of that. Kevin, thanks for bringing that out.

Really appreciate that. Lee Strobel, I think, was one of those guys that denied Christ and went to study it and became converted. There's another guy named Anthony Flew, who was a renowned atheist and scientist, and he said...

You know, by studying the science, I've come to believe that clearly there's a deity that made all of this. And I don't know that Anthony ever became an actual Christian, but he did go from being an atheist to being a theist. And it's like somebody said, you know, when you start out in science, you don't believe in God, but after you've been in science for a while, you come to the belief of God.

Somebody else said that you always find God in the bottom of the test tube. That is, the deeper you go into science, the more clear it is that there's a God that made all this. All right, WB7MX here in conversation with Kevin, KB7ZXN and the West Coast Bible Study Net.

Yeah, and that's the band is fading a little bit. But so, yeah, it amazes me. And in verse 1, of course, it says the fool doesn't impart cause and effect.

They do not exist. They are corrupt and they do vile deeds. And what comes to mind to me is that I sometimes look up YouTube and there are people in the media here living in a simulation created by supercomputers or anything.

or something, and it's just so far out there. It amazes me what people will do rather than just turn to God. I find that a lot of the people that I, like some coworkers and things like that, they just, you know, think the wrong people are God.

They think that he's, you know, someone... you know, up in the sky that, you know, the minute they make a mistake, you know, comes down on them or distances them unfairly. And that is not the picture.

I'm trying to make that clear when I do have a chance to witness. But, yeah, it's amazing. And like you said, it was very well put.

That's fantastic. I mean before we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior, yeah, that's the poor. We are rotten to the poor and we are not worthy at all.

So anyway, just a couple things there back to you. Scott, great comments. Thank you for that.

And so that's what false religion does. You know, Hinduism has a view of the supernatural and reality, and Buddhism does, and Islam does. and Taoism and paganism, I'm filling the blank, right?

Everybody comes up with some explanation for what is going on and what the future is going to hold based on their imagination instead of based on... divine revelation. And so, yeah, people think there's a simulation that we're living in.

And you go, okay, what's the evidence for that, right? And, you know, like reincarnation, what's the evidence for that? And you can go on.

And then you look at the evidence for Christianity, and Christianity has a Mount Everest of evidence. And all these false constructs have a mohill of evidence, and when you start digging around, you realize there's nothing there at all. So, yeah, basically, depraved people will construct a reality, a view, an understanding of the universe...

that is really drawn out of their own imagination, rather than based on the external evidence that is there. And the reason why is because that's a comfort to them. It provides them with perhaps an explanation for justification of their own behavior, maybe it provides them with an explanation of things that they don't understand, maybe it provides them with a justification for being able to do whatever they want to do you know you look at Islam you know you can rape you can commit pedophilia you can kill you can destroy and you can feel virtuous you know you can give in to all the depravity that you want you can abuse women you can you can give Intel every kind of human depravity and and feel like you're serving Allah So yeah, that's the reason for that, Scott, is that it brings to people a justification for or a comfort in the things that they want to focus on or the things that they want to be real.

Thank you. kb7 is that extend sorry i didn't mean to walk on doc there and doc i'm sure max would be delighted to get it receive a phone call from you too if you copy it all here um you know really excellent points here and i wanted to touch on something i believe i heard scott mentioned too of some of those that are around that use the excuse or have the false impression of God and who he is. And they, well, you know, God's just, he's like a stern cop there on the side of the road, just waiting for you to mess up, you know, and...

But that's not the picture of God, either that or he's just some feeble old man up in the sky somewhere. But recognition of who God is and what, again, it comes back to the gospel. And as pointed out here too, if not for God's grace and his love and mercy, so go we.

And it comes right back to the motivation of God and his love and the opportunity we have to be rescued from the fate of those that have turned away from God. And that we have hope because of his love. mercy and grace.

You know, we often focus on John 3.16, which is a wonderful text, and it's a wonderful text we should focus on. But oftentimes, we forget John 3.16, we forget John 3.17, and that is that God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to provide rescue, to provide salvation. And we have that opportunity.

And so that's one thing. If we are willing to repent, we can have that relationship with our Lord. It is His desire.

It is His sovereign will. that he extend your grace his grace to those that would repent and And so he's not a stern cop on the side of the road waiting for you to mess up Or judge they're ready to throw the key away He is the loving God that gave his son that we might have eternal life. And he did not send his son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.

And so that's, again, the beauty of the message and the contrast of the lostness. You know, when someone is lost, we use that term, it becomes a churchy term. But it is such a term with such gravity.

There's nothing worse. than knowing someone that is lost. You know, we lose a child, and that child is lost.

We will, you know, grab anyone that we can to form search parties, to scour the landscape to find that lost child. How much more valuable is the eternal lostness of a soul? So there is grave consequences when there's continued denial of God.

He's come to seek and save those of us that were lost. KB7 is at Exempt. Amen, Kevin.

That's really good news. You know, God has compassion on those who are out of the way. And exactly the kind of people that are described in this passage is, as you well said, that's who we once were.

And God plucked us as brands from the burning, as it were. He reached down and pulled us up out of our wickedness. And so what do we do?

We turn around and reach out to others who are drowning in a sea of depravity, and we seek to rescue them. There's an old hymn that says, "Rescue the perishing." And I love that old hymn, and we need to see when people behave really badly. Yes, there's a righteous anger at that understood, but also there needs to be, you know, a compassionate understanding that these people are taken captive by the devil at his will.

And they need to be rescued. And may the Lord be pleased to use our witness or the witness of others. to rescue them.

And so, good thoughts there, Kevin. All right, we are about out of time. I just did want to comment on verses 5 and 6.

It talks about these wicked people. There were they in great fear where no fear was. For God has scattered the bones of him that encamps against thee.

So it's put them to shame because God has despised them. So our enemies are also God's enemies because he takes care of his children. I mean, if somebody's attacking one of your kids, right, you're going to be there to defend your kid.

And that's what God is to us. And so verse 6, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion. when God bringeth back the captivity of his people Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad so God will come God will deliver us God will take care of those who seek to harm us and while we wish for their salvation if they're going to harden themselves and say no to God well, then God will deal with them in justice.

But in any event, the good news is that God is going to deliver us out of this present evil world. He's going to deliver us out of this fallen mass of wicked humanity that insists on trampling us under their feet. And that's the hope that we have, and the encouragement is that we will not always be surrounded by fools.

There will come a day when the community of the people of God will all be redeemed, all be living together in beautiful harmony, worshiping their Savior in the new heaven and the new earth, where never again will there be people with this kind of attitude toward God and toward us. who are striving to do harm to us. So deliverance is coming.

If you're tired of having to live under the heel of the depravity of the vast majority of the human race, understand the gospel brings deliverance. a sinfulness, a rebellion, defiance, and denial of spiritual and even earthly reality. And so, Lord, we just pray that you would send your Spirit to bring conviction and conversion to those who are in the category of fools.

and who are denying your existence. Father, such were we, and you have saved us. And so we pray that you would save others, too, that we witness, too.

Father, we have some requests here we want to bring before you. We pray for our brother Kevin, KB7ZXN, who's having a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. KK7 in.

Father, we just also want to pray for Scott as he travels tomorrow. Lord, we pray for his wife, Pam, as she stays home. Lord, give her peace and comfort.

Give Scott safety as he travels. And Lord, in due time, bring him back safely as well. Father, we want to pray for Ann, the wife of Ed, N6XOH.

She's flying to Sacramento tomorrow to attend a memorial service. for uh will km5f and his anniversary uh 52 years lord we're just so grateful for uh that um lord he's going to be gone friday saturday and sunday just give he and his wife uh martha faye a good trip uh a delightful time of remembrance as they go back to the place that they got married and Lord may the memories be sweet and may the love be deepened and father I just pray that there would be a tremendous rejoicing in the goodness of God and bringing them together and giving them all these years together and now father we have a request for a head in six oh XO H's brother-in-law Ed he and his wife need to sell their home And Lord, we think the same of Steve, W6YSI. He and Leslie need to sell their home.

And Lord, I just pray that you'd provide buyers soon and that that would work out well. We pray for Steve that you would give him wisdom, Lord, in finding a home in Tuolumne County that would be suitable for he and Leslie in the remainder of their days. And I pray, Lord, that the sweetness of the fellowship and the messages would linger and be a blessing to her as she reflects on that.

We pray for her son-in-law, Chris, who had back surgery. Lord, we pray for his healing. We pray for his deliverance from remaining pain.

We pray, Lord, that he would have full mobility and strength. and freedom from pain in the future. And Lord, just raise him up, we ask.

Father, we continue to pray for our brother Tom, WW17. Lord, we just pray that you continue to heal Tom from his spinal surgery. Pray that you would just relieve him from pain and problems with his legs.

Just pray that he would have full mobility and provide him, Father, in the meantime with an electric wheelchair that would be able to help him get around while he's healing up. Lord, continue to place him back in his continued healing of his double vision and also of the hearing in his right ear. Father, give him full recovery, I pray, from this accident that he had.

Lord, I just pray for Nancy that you would be pleased to save her. And Lord, we just want to praise you for sharing Sandy's sister, for her healing from her Bell's palsy. Lord, we pray that you would heal her.

You did so. Lord, we return thanks to you for that, and we give you glory for having achieved that. Lord, we just want to continue to pray for my pastor, Pastor Jeff Black, who has severe ulcerative colitis.

Lord, pray that you would heal him and return him back to the pulpit. in due time. Father, continue to pray for Roger, Cody Cag, 7TRF's dad, that you would heal him from stage 4 colon cancer.

We pray for his uncle Doug, Lord, that you would heal him from his severe head injury. Pray that he'd be able to get that feeding tube removed. And Lord, that he would be able to carry on with life and be rehabilitated.

Father, we continue to pray for our brother Keith, WB7RKR. Father, what a blessing Keith has been to the ham radio community. And Lord, now he's struggling with his wife, Ronnie, having Alzheimer's.

Lord, he needs wisdom and grace in dealing with her. And Father, he needs strength and health himself. to be able to care for her.

We pray for Harriet, Lord, his sister, who had a stroke, that you would provide for her medical needs and, Lord, for her recovery and rehabilitation as well. Father, we pray for Jerry, KG6J. We pray for the relief of both his chronic and his acute back pain.

Father, just have mercy on him. I pray, Lord, that there would be a remedy so that he wouldn't have to rely on drugs to control that pain. Father, we pray for the suppression of the wildfires in the western U.S.

and the safety of the firefighters. Father, we pray especially for Keith, K-7NEB's son, Grant, who is currently fighting fire. Lord, we pray for his safety in particular.

And Lord, thank you that N660H is free from smoke this morning. And Lord, I pray for others on the net, Father, that you would be pleased to take the smoke away, subdue the fires, and give the firefighters safety. Father, we just want to continue to pray for Scott, KD7YQT.

that you would be with his wife, Pam, that you would bring her lupus into remission. We pray for his daughter, Kendra, and her ongoing multiple chronic health. Father, be pleased to heal Kendra.

Lord, we understand she's losing sight in one eye. Lord, I just pray that you would reverse that. and protect her eyesight in particular.

Father, we pray for Al, KJ7QQH. Father, we pray that you would heal his cellulitis. Thank you that there's been some progress, Lord, but it's slow.

Pray that you would speed that up and that you would cause the medication and the care that's being given to that condition to be effective in bringing about healing. Lord, we continue to pray for Brother Jeff, AK6OK. We pray for he and Patty, his wife, to be able to sleep well at night.

We pray for Noah and his wife, Lord, that you would be pleased to save them, sanctify them, and cause their home to be a beacon and a lighthouse for Christ and his gospel. Lord, I pray that you would subdue. any rebellion that is there and Lord there would be humility and contrition Lord we pray for Kevin KB 7 Zedek Fin his daughter Montan Rayo who still needs gallstone surgery Lord be pleased to provide freedom from pain for her until she's able to get that surgery Father, we continue to pray for Keisha and her need for a liver transplant.

Lord, we pray for her salvation. Lord, I just pray that you would work in her heart and make her into a sweet, gentle, godly Christian woman. Lord, we pray for Glenn, KJ7UMW.

You haven't heard from Glenn in a long time. Lord, just pray for his continued healing of his broken neck and for his wife, Vicki, and for both of them for the chronic pain they have. Lord, we pray for Ed in 6XOH, his niece Ruth, and her husband Thomas, and the health needs of their three children, Macy, Mika, and McCain.

Lord, I just pray that you would guide and direct that family, Lord, that they would just have wisdom in meeting the medical needs of those children. Lord, we pray for Elvin, KF7FIA, Lord, who has back pain, much like many on this net do. Lord, we pray for his relief and for his healing.

Father, we just thank you for JR and we pray, Lord, for his friend Gary at W6GLB who has stage 4 cancer and who is receiving immunotherapy. Lord, we thank you for the good reports we've had. We pray for the complete eradication of that cancer and that, Lord, you would be pleased to deliver him from it.

Father, we just want to thank you today for Doc W6RLJ checking in and giving us a report that he's doing better, Father, with his multiple myeloma. Lord, I just pray that the medicine will continue to be effective in treating and healing that medical condition that Doc has. And Lord, we pray that the mission in Fiji would be successfully established and that the gospel witness would go out there.

Father, we continue to pray for Mike, W7TWO, and for his healing from his polio and his arthritis. Pray for his sister Barbara that you would bring her to salvation. And now, Lord, we just want to thank you for your goodness, mercy, and grace to each one of us.

Thank you for the gift of your son, Jesus Christ. And thank you, Father, for bringing us out of darkness and into light. And, Father, out of the kingdom of Satan and into the kingdom of God.

And then Michael Franze, yeah. Well, that's one example of what we were talking about, that there's no explanation for what happened to this guy other than that there's a God, that God saved and that God transformed and you can know that there's a God by viewing his handiwork in people's lives. So praise the Lord for that.

He's got a very popular YouTube channel. about the life of a Christian mom, but it's just, it's just a moment. And there's several videos we can find that talk about the churches, and talk about what life was like for God's people.

He was at the incidental event here, something like that, and during that whole time, you know, there were gifts out of his life that he thought he had lost. You typically see, And when he got out, you know, he got out, you know, about his life and, you know, that he died. Yeah, praise the Lord for that.

F-R-A-N-Z-E-S-E, something like that. You type that in and you'll get close enough and be able to hear that testimony. And, you know, we see the Apostle Paul in the book of Acts giving his testimony again and again as the proof and evidence of the legitimacy and validity of the gospel and of the Savior and of the message of the New Testament.

So testimony is powerful. You know, if you go up to somebody and you say, you know what, you're a wicked sinner and you need to repent and get saved. You know, that's kind of an approach that tends to be off-putting.

But if you go up to people and say, let me tell you what happened to me. You know, I was a wicked sinner, and I was doing all these terrible things and having all these awful consequences, but there came a day when someone brought the gospel to me, and I repented and trusted Jesus as my Savior. You know, my life's been completely turned around.

And I'm so grateful to God. And you know what? God can do that for you, too.

What do you think? By giving testimony and then using that as a springboard for witness, it's much more interesting to an unfaithful person. And it's much less offensive to them.

And while we don't want to remove the true offense of the gospel, at the same time, I think we can exercise wisdom in the way in which we open the conversation and start to move things in that direction. And one of the ways is to talk about ourselves and what God has done for us. That's our self-centered.

That's doing what Paul did. That's doing what Michael Framsey is doing. And that's saying, God has done a mighty work here in my life, and he can do the same for you.

Back to you there, Scott. Yeah, direction I'm telling you. Okay.
