Good morning to the both of you. Good morning, we're doing great. The ear doctor said that the reason it feels like I have water in my ear is because I have dried blood blocking the ear drum and I need to put mineral spirits in my ear for the next 30 days every night when I go to bed.

And he said, hopefully it'll loosen up and fluff off and I'll be able to hear good. And if I can't, that mineral spirits will make it soft enough that he'll be able to dig it out. And I should be able to hear it just as good as I heard before.

Roger? Well, praise the Lord for that. That's a good report.

Man, just a physical blockage and no structural damage. Beck, thank you for that. That's a real praise to the Lord for that.

Yeah, so we'll just pray that that softens up and comes out, and that will restore your hearing. All right, real good. I'm surprised he didn't have you put, like, hydrogen peroxide in there, which kind of boils dried blood away.

That is so good to hear. All right. So ordinary Kinkford briquettes, you can put those like in your camper and the mice don't like them and they won't come around because I guess they don't like the odor.

We are in Psalm 30. Before we get started, we need to open in prayer. And so I'm going to ask Dan in 6T and I.

Dan, could you open in prayer for us today, please? Go ahead. Thank you, Pastor Max.

Everybody, let's bow our heads. Father, thank you very much for another day. I know it's your hand that always helps to keep the days going.

in check and we really thank you for that. Bless the scripture today. Hopefully it will have meaning to each and every one of us that we will get something out of it and be able to apply it to our lives.

Bless Pastor Max today as he leads the get-together that he can give us an insight into the reading today that will mean something to us and that we'll take away from today. Lord, bless the reading today, and hopefully we will each and every one get something out of this. message today thank you very much and may the Lord bless and keep each and every one of you if I ask in your precious name Amen amen and real good thank you so much for that prayer really appreciate that a lot all right we're in Psalm 30 Psalm 3:0 and I'm going to give you a little background and then we'll have Jerry read this Now, King David, as you know from reading 1 and 2 Samuel, was a fugitive for a long time as a result of fleeing from the wrath and the rage and the jealousy of King Saul.

And so for years, David was a fugitive and a vagabond living in the wilderness, living in caves. fleeing from city to city. He even had to live in a foreign country, the Philistines, for a while.

But finally, in the providence of God, Saul was killed in a battle, and David was able to return back to Israel. But even then, his life was not free from trouble. The last enemy had been driven from out of their midst, and finally he was at peace, and the nation had peace and unity throughout the land.

Now it was at this point, after David had finally gotten to the throne and defeated all of his enemies. It was at this point that David could finally build himself a house in Jerusalem and settle down in peace. And this event is recorded in 2 Samuel 5, verses 10 to 12.

So I'm just going to read those to you for a second. And it says here in 2 Samuel 5, 10 to 12, David went on and grew great, and the Lord of hosts was with him, and Hiram king of Tyre, sent messengers to David and cedar trees and carpenters and masons, and they built David a house. And David perceived that the Lord had established him king over Israel and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel's sake.

So David now was at a place in his life where he perceived the Lord had established him and exalted his kingdom. And it was at this point in David's life that this psalm, Psalm 30, was written. Notice, if you will, the heading of this psalm.

It says, A psalm and song, the dedication of the house of David. And so God had given David a united kingdom, a complete victory over all his enemies, the respect of foreign powers, namely the king of Tyre, And now on top of all that, he has a secure, a permanent, and a beautiful dwelling place. And all of this seemed to culminate in a confident conviction and a joyful realization of the security and the prosperity of his kingdom and conditions.

And out of that joy that welled up at this realization, this psalm of praise, Psalm 30, pours forth. And yet, even though all of David's external enemies had been vanquished, and even though he had a secure kingdom, and even though he had a beautiful home, And even though he had the respect and love of all of those around him, yet there was one point of vulnerability David had that he could do nothing about, and that was his personal health. No amount of money or fame or power can keep you from contracting disease and becoming sick to the point that you die, even if you're the king of Israel.

I remember Steve Jobes. worth $7 billion, and he couldn't buy a cure for pancreatic cancer. Well, David recognized this vulnerability.

David had experienced a severe illness, even to the point that he thought he was going to die. But God healed him of this illness, and he recognized God's healing hand and God's provision of good health. and that that was as much a part of his security as all of his possessions and his positions and his power put together.

So as David completes his house and thinks of all his political and material prosperity and security, he also in this psalm takes special note. of his physical well-being and his good health as also being a gift of God of equal or greater value and significance than anything else, and he praises God for that. We know and David knows that without your health you have nothing, whatever else you might have.

So that's background and a framework for understanding Psalm 30 and what David is saying in this psalm. All right, that brings us into Jerry AE70R. Jerry, if you could read for us, please, Psalm 30.

I would appreciate that. Go ahead. I once told you, O Lord, you have lifted me up and have not let my enemies enjoy sober me.

O Lord, my God, I cried to you for help, and you healed me. O Lord, you have brought up my soul from shoals. You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit.

Send praise to the Lord, you, his holy one. and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is good for a moment, his favor is for a lifetime.

Weeping may last through the night, but a short and a shout of joy comes in the morning. Now, as for me, I have, in my prosperity, I will never... be moved.

I need to do that again. Now for me, I said in my prosperity, I will never be moved. Oh, Lord, by your favor, you have made my mountain to stand strong.

You did your thing. Now let's get to me. To you, oh Lord, I call.

And to the Lord I make supplication. What profit is there in my blood if I go down to the pit? Will the dust break me?

Will it declare your faith for me? Here, O Lord, is your gracious to me. O Lord, Be my helper.

You have churned for me my mourning and the dancing. You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness. That my soul may sing praise to you and not be silent.

O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever. In fact, you eat seven birds. Jerry, great reading.

Well, this is WB7VZO. Roger. Please go ahead.

Well, like our friend Kevin says, I guess I'll get the ball rolling. I think your comments about health are certainly true. And I've noticed several times, and you probably keep track better than I do, Max, for sure, that he appeals to God...

in the capability of Him receiving glory. And we were created to receive, to give Him glory. That was our purpose for our creation, to have the capacity in the frontal lobe to give worship to Him.

And so I like in verse 9, "What profit is there? in my blood when I go down to the pit. Shall the dust praise me?

Shall it declare the truth? And so he appeals to God, saying, God, you don't want me dead because, you know, the dead don't praise the Lord. Over.

Yeah, that's right. I mean, from a human perspective, nobody in the graveyard is singing hymns of praise, are they? And so their praise disappears off the face of the earth.

And one of God's purposes is that his praise would be proclaimed in all the earth. And when people die, that praise ceases to be heard on the earth, though it's heard in heaven. And here's the problem.

is that David is saying, Lord, thank you for sparing my life so that I can continue to praise you. And that tells us something about the purpose of our lives, right? The purpose of our lives is that we would give praise to God.

And every time a Christian dies, that praise to God on earth and before men, ceases to be expressed. So, yeah, that's a motive that David is offering to God to heal him. Lord, I want to keep praising you here on the earth.

I want people to hear your praises. I want to be a witness for your glory and your name. and the amazing works that you've done on our behalf.

So, Lord, spare my life so I can keep giving you praise. So, you know, it's interesting how David, as it were, like a lawyer, pleads his case before God and offers arguments as to why. God should answer his prayer.

And we see that quite frequently in the scriptures. And so when we're praying to God, we can say, Lord, heal me of this disease, whatever it is. And then we can offer reasons why God should heal.

Lord, to show your power so that I can continue to give you praise. so that I can continue to serve in ministry and so that people can see your power. So there's lots of arguments that we can use in our prayers to motivate God, as it were, to grant us the thing that we are requesting.

But those motives we have to offer him are ones that certainly appeal to him. and that he has expressed appeal to him in his word. Good comment, Roger.

First of all, I see 26 people check in this morning, and that's stellar. Just welcome everybody. Love to see you all on here.

Six and seven. Verse 6 and 7 from the Message Translation. I love the way this goes.

"When things were going great, I crowed, 'I've got it made. I'm God's favorite.'" What does that sound like? That sounds like us.

And next he says, "He made me king of the mountain. Then you looked the other way, and I fell to pieces." A little adjustment of your spirit, right, Mack? copy that and you know that's the thing is that when everything's going well we tend to think well everything's going to go well from here on out and we get real presumptuous right finances are in shape families in shape business is going well people like us maybe our ministries are growing And, you know, when we're in that situation, it's really easy to start feeling cocky and to start feeling like this is owed to us and that we are going to just have nothing but prosperity from this point forward.

And, you know, God wants us to have this attitude of humility, this attitude of dependence. and also to be constantly praying and recognizing that, Lord, you've blessed me. Thank you for those blessings.

Continue them because without you I can do nothing. And God just pulled David down from his presumption and his pride and his self-importance and his attitude that, hey, I've got it made and I don't need anything else. certainly don't need God.

And that's kind of the attitude we get into when things are going well, to slack off on prayer and Bible reading, church attendance, all those things, because we're just enjoying life so much. And that's what happened to David, and that's exactly what your Bible translation there is actually discussing. Back to you there, Jeff.

Yeah, I see a little bit of haughtiness in this whole thing. Because when I was reading this, I'm going, "Oh, man, that's a turnaround. He made me king of the mountain, and then you look the other way and I fell to pieces." That should be a really good adjustment for all of us, right?

We all go there once in a while. Man, things are going well. But as you know, Max, that's when you better start praying.

amen you know there's a passage in the bible don't know where it is right off the top of my head but it says in a time of rain pray for rain and the idea is there um is that in a time of blessing continue to pray for blessing and and that's an attitude that says i'm not presuming on these blessings i recognize they're a gift of god's grace God's mercy, God's goodness, God's love. He doesn't owe me any of this. And so an attitude of thankfulness, number one, and a supplication for continued blessings, number two, really befit us in a time of blessing.

Jeff, great comments. You know, Jeff, you have gone through some phenomenal health issues in your lifetime where you were at the brink of death just like David here, and God pulled you back up out of that. You want to tell us a little bit about that?

I certainly was, and it started in 2006 when I had three cardiac arrests in one day. And I was absolutely pulled out of death because I was pronounced dead at Sutter Hospital in Sacramento. And I was met after the next day.

And some of you might remember this story, but when this all happened, here I'm pronounced dead. My poor wife, gosh, she was in a waiting room. Just a deep deep prayer that I would survive all of this one thing that I did not tell you was after I survived They brought my wife in my wife Patty And I kept telling her I think I'm gonna die That's an embarrassing thing to say I gotta tell you And I told her that probably four times as they were working on me, and she kept telling me you're not gonna die and and I kept telling her, you know, I feel like I'm gonna die.

Finally, a doctor in the room said, "Excuse me, ma'am," and he got down on my face. He said, "Are you listening to your wife?" And I said, "Well, I feel like I'm gonna die." And he said, "You need to listen to your wife. She said you're not gonna die." and you're not going to die.

And that turned out to be true. God reached down and saved me in the most incredible way. And part of that was that after they covered me up with a sheet and I was ready for the coroner, there was an angel that showed up, and he looked like a doctor to me.

He said he shot me with nine doses of epinephrine while everybody in the room was shocked and said, "What are you doing?" And he said, "I did CPR of this." He said there were seven witnesses to this. He did CPR. I woke up.

I started speaking in tongues or how about just unintelligibly and After an MRI and all the tests I had no brain damage I had no heart damage whatsoever And if God's not in the middle of this then you explain to me what that was max. Go ahead. I Amen, Jeff.

Thank you for that testimony. And that is exactly what David is talking about here in verse 2 and 3. In verse 2 he says, "O Lord my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou hast healed me." Verse 3, "O Lord, Thou hast brought my soul up from the grave.

Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down into the pit." And then verse 4, "Sing unto and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. And so here's David's testimony. He was right at the brink of death, just like you, Jeff.

And God pulled him up, literally out of the grave, as it were. and brought him back to life. So this is an amazing testimony.

You know, what you realize is that every day my life is in his hands. He can take it at any instant. I've been right there on the edge of it.

He pulled me back. Every day I have is a gift of God, and I need to use it for his glory. I need to use it for his praise.

And then I need to recognize that I need to be ready, because at any time God could take any one of us. And so what we have here is a psalm of just praise to the Lord for his healing of us from all of our past diseases. And, you know, Jeff, this is also...

I mean, in the resurrection, all of us are going to be pulled up out of the grave, right? And all of us are going to be completely healed, and there's not going to be any more sorrow or pain or sickness or death. All that stuff is going to pass away.

So we're looking forward to the grand healing of which this is a foreshadowing. And your experience is a foreshadowing. I mean, in a way, in a way, you were resurrected from the dead.

Not to a glorified body, but... kind of like Lazarus, you know, pronounced dead, brought back to life. And so God is able to do that in the natural realm, and certainly in the day of resurrection, he will do that supernaturally, and we can just look forward to that.

David's healing, your healing, all foreshadowing of the great healing that's going to take place in the resurrection. All right, any other comments on this passage? Please come down to the call site.

It demonstrates how other people's faith and prayers can affect our life. That, i.e., his wife and the doctor. KM5S.

Yeah, amen. And that's where we add our faith to the faith of others. And as we pray together, it's amazing what God does.

So, Will, great comment there how the faith of others, in this case his wife and doctor, was used by God to work in his life. So we don't fight these battles alone. We fight them as a community.

We fight them as a body. We fight them as a family. Amen.

And so that's one reason why we have corporate prayer after each of these Bible studies, so that all of us can bring our faith together, bring our supplication before God, and ask Him for help and for healing. Will, great comment. Thank you for that.

W7RKD, Burt, go ahead. I told you my story, Max, privately. And, uh, you know, at the final point, so, uh, this is great.

So, uh, yeah, from that bad motorcycle wreck I was in, and, uh, I also, too, saw the other side and where I was going, and I was lifted up and also now, I was pronounced dead at the scene and I died three times on the operating table. So, yeah, they all tried to contribute to, you know, everybody was saying, "Oh, it's just the anesthesia." You know, all of the stuff. They all have visions, people have visions of anesthesia and whatnot.

and so the only thing they could do was up in the middle of that stuff while they were operating on me and they told me you know robert we're trying to save your life you're not out of the woods yet and then i passed out and then i have my vision just the same um yeah yeah i am very blessed and no matter what my physical conditions are i'm here to glorify my father in heaven just as all of us I have a similar story to like this. And I hope that, you know, I'm sorry that nobody knows. I hope that you can find out something like this.

In order to find out this, they need to find out. W7RKD. All right, Bert, I was unable to hear you.

I heard the word alcohol. Could somebody give me a relay on what Bert said, a summary of what he said? Please come out with your call sign.

Okay, AK6. Okay, AK6, okay, Jeff, go ahead. Yeah, he said that he got in a bad motorcycle accident after a tremendous amount of alcohol.

And he died three times as well and was brought back from the dead. That's a summary. But he said he hopes everybody hears this story and understands that he would not want anybody to have to go through that kind of an experience to figure out who Jesus is.

Five Yankee? Five Yankee. Yeah, Bert, I think one of the things that he wanted to point out more than anything was he had an angel, and he went to the other side and came back, and they were saying...

to him that when you're under the drugs, that that will happen to you. And that they're always so quick to say, you know, whatever it is we gave you can do this, can do that to you. But he didn't believe that, and he doesn't, neither do I.

He knows that he was visited, and he did see the other side, and he believes it was the Holy Spirit. Alpha Alpha Phi Bianchi. Yes, copy that, and I agree with that.

Thank you for sharing that as well, Beck. Yes, there is a supernatural realm, and sometimes we're allowed to see that in those near-death experiences, and God uses that in the testimony of thousands of people regarding that. to indicate the reality of what is there.

- ZXN. - ZXN, Kevin, KB7ZXN, good morning, go ahead. - Yeah, KB7ZXN, well, two quick points here too.

And I think I may have shared my death experience as well. I don't recall for sure, but as a teenager, somewhat like Bert's, only I was in a vehicle. We had creamed off the road at about 70 to 80 miles an hour and slammed into a tree.

And I got the brunt of that. And I managed to crawl out of the vehicle and collapse. My buddy went into shock after he saw me and ran around screaming, which this was about 2 in the morning, so that's what alerted the police to come out and check us out, check out what the commotion was.

When the EMS arrived, They could not get an IV started in me. I'd lost too much blood. And again, I had passed away there the first time.

And in fact, they sent the police to go knock on my mom's door and let her know that I didn't make it. that I was deceased. But God does have the final word, and I can really relate to this, too, being taken to Sheol and brought back.

Because I did, too, as well, had an experience... with our Lord. He allowed me, we, I lived with my mother at the time.

We lived in a two, a second floor of a two-story apartment building in a complex there, a newer complex. And, and he led me, the Lord led me to look out the window and, and I could see in her right outside her window looking in and he was letting me know how devastating this is going to be to her to know that I passed away and in of course part of the cause the accident was my just being a negligent rebellion teen and anyway but he really let me see and his presence was with me the whole time and and I I could remember reprinting repenting and asking the Lord please don't let my mother suffer through this she's gone through so much several more times in the hospital. And about 20 years later when I got my medical records, I see where my heart stopped multiple times.

One time nearly 20 minutes, but miraculously, like Jeff, no brain damage. But it did change me forever. And ever since then, I knew that the only reason I'm here was because of God's grace.

And I used to always wonder, he kept me around for a reason, for a purpose. And there's different events through life and different ministries or different things. you know, areas of service, I used to think, well, maybe this is why God kept me around.

Maybe this is why God, well, the fact is, it's all of the above. It's to honor and glorify God each day. And so, yeah, praise be to God for his mercies that way.

But I would push back on one comment you made in the beginning, Max, and that is with that, without our help, we have nothing. I would disagree with that. It's great to have good health.

But you know what? the Lord is with us. If we're not, if we don't have good health, we still have our witness, we still have our faith, and we still have the hope in Christ.

And when we do step into eternity that last time, we will be glorified and one day resurrected in our new body. So that's the only thing I'd say to that. Sometimes God answers those prayers in a way we would like but sometimes he answers those prayers for his honor and glory for his purposes kb7 is that yeah kevin thank you so much for those comments yep kevin was sharing for those who couldn't hear him about a near-death experience he had where the lord met him after an auto accident when he was a teenager and um He prayed that the Lord would not allow him to die and see his mother suffer.

So, Kevin, thank you for sharing that experience. Really appreciate that a lot. And, yeah, when I said without your health you have nothing, whatever else you might have, I was talking about the priorities.

People would trade their fortune for their health. And that was the point that I was making, is that all sorts of material possessions we may have, position, power, and the praise of men, all of that would be quickly traded for a day of health when someone is at the brink of death. All right, WB7MAX here.

We are out of time. It is time for us to go to prayer. And so anyway, you know, verse 10 and 11, I just want to close with those.

Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me, Lord, be thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing. Thou hast put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.

to the end or for the purpose that my glory, that is my tongue, may sing praise to thee and not be silent. O Lord, my God, I will give thanks to thee forever. So that's the proper response to deliverance of whatever sort of deliverance we have, and that is to give glory to God and to praise Him and to give thanks to Him forever and ever.

All right, well, let's go to prayer. Father, thank you so much for this passage. Thank you for David sharing his life with us and his experiences with us so that we know how to respond when we are going through those same experiences in our own lives.

And Father, we just want to return thanks for the way you've preserved our lives so many times. Some of us, Father, have had quite dramatic deliverances from death. Others have been preserved from severe accidents that could have killed us.

We came out unscathed, but we know that it was just by the grace of God. that we weren't taken in those situations. And so, Lord, our desire today is just to give you thanks for saving Bert's life and saving Jeff's life and saving Kevin's life.

And, Father, there are others on the net that have gone through similar experiences. where they have been maybe even pronounced dead, and yet you have brought them back to life. Father, may each of us dedicate all of our lives to giving you thanks, to giving you glory, to giving you praise for the way that you have preserved our lives.

Truly, you are the preserver of life. We recognize that did you not preserve our lives, we would all be dead in an instant. So, Lord, thank you.

Thank you for that. Lord, we just want to pray today for our brother Ted, KK7OQQ. Lord, just pray that you'd heal his arthritis.

Father, he's got arthritis in his back, just kind of a gnawing pain there. And Lord, I just pray that you would bring relief and healing to Ted's back. We pray for his sister and her allergies, Lord, that you would relieve her of those as well.

Father, we just want to offer you praise today for Jerry, KG6J, who talked to us about Rochelle and how she got a good report from the doctor that the lesions on her liver have actually shrunk. And, Lord, we're thankful for that. We just pray that that would continue until those completely go away.

and that Rochelle is completely healed of her cancer. Lord, we also pray for Steve, W6YSI. Lord, he's down there in Tuolumne County today looking for a house.

Lord, I pray that you give him lusty wisdom and that you would provide them with a house that would... you know, really meet their needs for the rest of their lives. And it would be very suitable for Steve and his ham radio hobby.

And Lorne, I just ask that there would be wisdom and the clarity in your leading in their lives. Father, we just pray for Jim N7BKE. He's going for a blood test this morning.

Just pray for good results from that blood test, Father. And, Lord, we just want to pray for Joe, K-A-6-R-O-M. Father, he's in a lot of pain.

He needs hip surgery. Lord, pray that you would just take the pain away and that he would be able to have that hip surgery and be free from pain. Lord, we just pray for Jeff, AK-6-OK's daughters and their husbands.

Lord, that they would make good decisions. Father, Satan and the world and the flesh pull our children. And, Lord, our children really need your help and protection.

And so we just ask your protection upon Jeff's daughters and son-in-laws that they would just make good decisions. Lord, we just continue to pray for our sister, Jerry, Al KJ7QQH's wife. Just pray, Lord, that her eyeglass prescription would be right and that she would have good vision and good clarity.

Father, we bring before you today Ed in 6XOH, his brother-in-law Ed, and his recovery from his heart oblation surgery. Thank you for the good report that his heart rate, heart diabetes, has straightened out, pray that it would stay straightened out. Pray that Ed and his wife would be able to sell their home.

And Lord, for our Ed in 6XOH, may his camp trailer sell today. May the lady coming to look at it, buy it, so that Ed can move on with other decisions in his life about a recreational vehicle. Lord, we continue to pray for Eric, KD70S, his mom.

and her recovery from pacemaker surgery. Father, she's got to hold her arms still, and she's got some recovery issues there. Lord, I pray that would go well, that her heart would be properly regulated, and that, Lord, she would eventually know freedom of movement.

Lord, we just pray for Mark, KJ7PBT, for his mom, who is a believer, and who's at the end of her life. Lord, we just pray that you would take Mark's mom gently into your arms, and bring her into heaven. And, Father, we just pray that one day Mark and Margie and others would be able to be with their mom.

And, Lord, rejoice together at your saving grace. Father, we pray for Will, KM5F, that his hormone treatment and radiation would be effective in restraining... and removing his prostate cancer.

Father, we just pray that you would have mercy on our brother and that, Lord, you would give him decades more of life serving you and bringing honor to your name. Lord, we continue to pray for our sister, Carol, KK7TPO. for healing for her lower back pain.

Father, thank you that the acute pain isn't there, but Father, she's just got chronic pain. And Lord, we just ask that you would take away the chronic pain and just give her, Father, relief and freedom of mobility. We pray for her son-in-law, Chris, that as he meets with the surgeon on Thursday, that, Lord, there would be a green light so that they could go ahead with his back surgery.

Lord, I just pray for the control of his diabetes. Father, we continue to pray for Tom, WW7T. Father, thank you that Tom was able to get up and get dressed today and get on the radio.

We're really grateful for that. And Lord, we just pray that you would comfort his heart over the loss of his wife. Lord, we pray that you would heal him from his spinal surgery.

Lord, he's got some rash and scabs on his legs. He gets leg cramps. Lord, Tom needs your healing hand.

And Lord, we just pray that you have mercy on our brother and that you would raise him up, strengthen him, Give him peace in his body, and, Lord, freedom from pain, and just bring healing to Paul. Lord, we continue to pray for our brother Beck Alfalfa, 5 Yankee. Thank you for the good news that his hearing problem is just dried blood.

We pray, Lord, that that would be able to get washed out of there and that his hearing would be fully restored. Lord, we pray for the resolution of his double vision. Pray that you would heal the muscles in his eyes so that, Lord, everything would pull together and line up like it's supposed to.

Pray for their neighbor Nancy, Lord, for her healing from her terminal cancer. Pray for her salvation as well. Father, I want to pray for my pastor Jeff Black and his severe ulcerative colitis.

Lord, just pray that you would accelerate the healing process in his body, and Lord, help him to be able to turn a corner and be able to return back to ministry. Father, we pray for Cody, TI7TRF, and his uncle Doug. Father, in the severe head injury that he had in his accident, Lord, thank you that his initial surgery was successful.

We pray for additional surgeries, Lord, that they would be successful also. But, Lord, we really pray that you would heal him from the mental trauma that he has now. And pray, Lord, for peace.

in his mind, in his heart, in his emotions, help him to put this accident behind him and not keep replaying it in his head over and over and over again with all of the physical thrashing and anxiety that comes from that. Lord, we just want to pray for Keith, WB7RKR. Lord, give he and Ronnie a peaceful day today.

Lord, I pray that Ronnie would be able to be peaceful and calm and that Keith would have wisdom and strength and grace in dealing with her. Lord, heal Keith's heart problems. And Lord, I pray that Keith would be able to walk steadily without falling.

And Lord, these folks need each other desperately. And I just pray, Lord, that you would cause them to be a blessing to each other. Lord, we just want to continue to pray for Keith, K7NEB.

Lord, his... His son Grant and his wife Rachel are running a kids Bible camp for third to sixth graders this week. And Lord we just pray for the salvation of these children.

Lord may Grant and Rachel just have wisdom in leading these little ones to Christ. And bringing them out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of Jesus. Lord, we continue to pray for the suppression of wildfires in the western U.S.

and also for the safety of the firefighters. Father, may there be just a fire season this year that doesn't have giant catastrophes attached to it. Lord, have mercy.

Thank you. and bring clear air and to see to the fires and safety of the firefighters. Father, we just continue to pray for Dave, AI7QQ, for his prison ministry in the Idaho State Correctional Facility as a volunteer service coordinator.

Father, we also pray for the services he conducts in the juvenile correction facility in Idaho. so Lord give him wisdom and open heart and Lord save many many of the prisoners Lord we continue to pray for Bert W7RKD thank you for his testimony today of the way you saved his life and turned his life around so that now he serves Jesus instead of sin Lord we pray for Bert's wife Danny for the remission of her multiple sclerosis Father we continue to pray for Mike W7TWO in his ministry to Betty, who lost her husband a while back. May Mike have wisdom in ministering to her.

May she know comfort and strength and good decision-making, Father, after the passing of her husband. Lord, we pray for Mike, that you would heal the arthritis in his shoulder and in his hand, that you would cause his polio to go back into remission. that he'd be able to get all his projects done, Father, that he needs to get done before winter comes.

Just give him health and strength and wisdom in managing his health and strength so that he doesn't overdo it, Father, and then wind up having to recover. Lord, we just want to thank you today for your goodness, mercy, and grace to each one of us. Thank you for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ.

We do trust in him alone. for the forgiveness of our sins. Thank you that he's going to resurrect us from the grave.

And in that resurrection, all of our bodies will be healed, and we will be healed forever. Thank you for that promise. We ask these things in Jesus' name.

I was up early. Well, I never got much sleep because I'd work late into the night and I'd be... wake up a couple of times a night to check with the hospital.

But then I'd be up early and on the Midwest Bible study net before I'd go to the hospital. And so I got real close to those guys on there at that time. And Scott was frequently on there as well.

That's where I got acquainted with him initially. Okay. and much appreciated his and the others prayers for my wife there and anyway later that led to you know she passed away and such but later that led to the awareness of the west coast bible study and well here we are but you know I thank God for these nets, I thank God for the Midwest Bible Study net too and the faithfulness of those fellas there too and they're still in my prayers as well, I just wish I could get over there more often to fellowship with them but anyway, a little of my history there KB7 Zedekson I heard it back to you out of the static, but in any event, yeah, the band's starting to go to pieces on us, but thank you for that Montana SDR reference.

I know a number of people monitor that. I monitor Haslam Bay and Utah, and I just don't have the ability to juggle one more SDR here in the shack, so... Appreciate all the relays that are provided me by those who are able to listen to Montana, and I'm really grateful for that.

Thanks for the relay back. Yeah, I was just going to make a correction there. That was with my first wife in 20.

Just right after. Well, December 17th, I guess it was 2020 with my first wife when she was hospitalized with the COVID. And anyway, she passed away early March of the following year there, after a long battle there.

But yeah, that was with my first wife, Katie. And she was just, yeah, there's some miracles there in our lives that God did. Just bringing us back together.

We were teenage sweethearts, and he brought us together in our life. And he was right in the middle of our life. So I met Bosé about a year and a half later.

After her passing, again, that's another God thing because I wasn't. looking for anybody at the time. But anyway, so just letting you know that that was not with Boce.

That was that ill there. KB7, Zedekson. All right, Kevin, real good.

Thank you for that. Good copy on Utah. So did Katie then actually die of COVID, or was it something else that finally took her life over?

Well, it was because the hospitals were not treating her And they—it was for the horrible—I mean, they were doing what they were told by the government, but it was killing her. And so she was just about well enough to be released on a couple of occasions. But they over-hydrated her and it caused what they call a cytokine storm.

Basically her lungs were attacking themselves. Autoimmune system was attacking itself. So her lungs became so scarred, in fact, the radiologist who had been a doctor, a radiologist there, I can't remember his name, doctor, somebody anyway, said he'd never seen lungs scarred so bad.

So she--so that was what did the damage to her there. Initially, she had--she was healing up quite well. She was on the ventilator once for three days and then healed up, but then, like I say, they missed-- cared for her and caused these other complications and then when she had to go back on the respirator we were working on getting her off that I actually had to take her to life flight her down to Utah to a specialty respiratory hospital there and they were working on getting her off of the off the ventilator and bringing her back into consciousness.

And she was getting more lucid, but then she had a brain aneurysm
