My shoulder's better a little bit. The only reason I take the muscle relaxers is I still got a lot of arthritis pain now. And I just got to quit overdoing it outside.

I just try to push myself through for them and then I just make sure four days to get over it. And just realizing if I just do a little bit every day, I get more done, over. Well, copy that.

Yeah, you got to ration your strength. At our age, you know, you just can't work a 12-hour day like you used to. I remember, yeah, I used to be able to work like a madman, but now it's like four hours and I'm done.

And so anyway, yep, you just got to recognize your limitations and you got to work within those and manage your health and strength and pain levels and all those things. Mike, so good to hear your voice. And how is Randy doing with a wound on his foot?

Is it healing up? It's what the doctor says he's been doing twice a week or three times a week, but it's almost completely healed. And a few more, I think the doctor said two weeks and it will be completely healed.

He'll go back to doing everything he wants to do. Well, praise the Lord for that. Glad to hear he's making progress in God's answer and prayer.

Let's get started with the West Coast Bible Study, WV7MX here. We're in Psalm 27. But before we look at that psalm, we want to open in prayer.

And so, Al, KJ7QQH, if you could open in prayer for us today, and Thank you, Pastor Max. Good morning, everyone on the net. Let's go.

Before the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you for this day. Thank you for this time in your word.

And we just ask your blessing on all of us that as we go into your word, we'll do it. gain everything that you would have us to learn to know. And we ask that your armor of protection be over all of us.

And we face the evils of the world. Just thank you for today and thank you for this lesson. And we ask it in Jesus' name.

Amen. as so many of these psalms do. And the reason why is because if you're a Christian, you're involved in spiritual warfare.

You're going to have enemies. And the reason why is because we're told in Genesis 3:15 that there's going to be enmity between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. And so there's this huge enmity between Christ and Satan, and that is played out in this world between the people of Christ and the people of Satan.

And so if you don't have enemies, then you have to ask yourself, are you even on the spiritual battlefield? And so as we stand for Christ and witness for Christ and work for Christ and worship Christ, there are people who are very unhappy about that and will vigorously fight against us as we attempt to do that. And, of course, spiritual warfare is never easy.

Our enemies, the servants of Satan, are powerful and can do us great harm. And so what that does is that it strikes fear in our heart. You know, no soldier goes onto the battlefield without some fear.

of what the enemy might do or could do. And the question is, is what is the antidote to fear? And we see that in verse 1 of this psalm.

The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life.

Of whom shall I be afraid? And so while it's scary to speak up for the Lord and stand up for the Lord and show up for the Lord, When the faces of our family or fellow employees or society at large are against us and are able to harm us, we need to be bold and stand up anyway. Retreating from spiritual warfare and deserting the battlefield isn't an option for the Christians.

So we need to stand up for the Lord, and we need to stand with the Lord, and we have to overcome the fear of doing so by exercising faith in the Lord. And that's the message of Psalm 27. And so we'll be looking at David's confidence.

in the presence of his enemies. And, of course, his confidence is not in himself. It's in the Lord.

And then we're going to see David's prayer to the Lord for safety, deliverance, and victory. And then David's going to draw a conclusion here at the end of this psalm. when he says, "I'm going to just wait on the Lord and be of good courage.

He'll strengthen my heart." So that's the thrust and overall message of the psalm. And so we'll be discussing that as soon as Roger WB7DZL reads to us. Roger, go ahead and read Psalm 27, please.

This is WB7DZL, and again I'll be reading the NASB. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life.

Whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, my adversaries and my enemies may stumble and fell. Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear the war arise against me in spite of this I shall be confident one thing I have asked from the Lord that I shall seek that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of and to meditate in his temple.

For in the day of trouble he will conceal me in his tabernacle. In the secret place of his head he will hide me. He will drift me.

He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice, and be gracious to me and answer me. When thou didst say, Seek my face, My heart said to thee, Thy face, O Lord, I shall seek. Do not hide thy face from me.

Do not turn thy servant away in anger. Thou hast been my help. Do not abandon me, nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord will take me up. Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in the level path because of my foes. Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence.

Whom shall I fear? Question mark. And then the Lord is my strength of my life.

Of whom shall I be afraid? Question mark. I'd like to know why the question marks are there.

If you can answer that, please. Thank you. Yeah, he's talking to himself.

You know, we have this internal conversation with ourselves, right? all the time where we say to ourselves this or that or the next thing. We wind up counseling ourselves in this inward conversation we have, reminding ourselves of what we should or shouldn't do, reminding ourselves of Bible verses and perspectives.

And that's what David's doing here. He's talking to himself. And he's afraid, and he's saying, why should I be afraid?

Who should I be afraid of? And so because he's trying to encourage himself in the things of the Lord, he's asking himself rhetorical questions. he's not speaking to somebody else he's talking to himself so that's what's going on there back back to you okay thank you i was lost because i was taking this as this is written to us for us and that's why i was questioning the question mark thank you pastor man I'll follow for five-year kick.

Yeah, copy that. You know, what's interesting is that we get to have a glimpse into the mind in the inward thought of the psalmist in these psalms, which is kind of an unusual perspective. You know, I mean, when you and I are talking, I can hear your voice, but I sure can't see into your mind.

I don't know what's going on internally, but here we're allowed the privilege of being able to see what's going on internally in his thought processes, which of course helps us then to guide our own thought processes internally. So David is saying, "Look it, God is going to illuminate me, God is going to save me, God is going to give me strength. Why am I afraid?

Stop being afraid." trust in the Lord because faith in the Lord is the antidote to fear and that's really what he's saying to himself alright Beck good question thank you for asking that alright any other comments please come out KJ7 alright we've got Mark KJ7 PVT Mark go ahead ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ . . - I'm going to go ahead and get started.

Yeah. Mark made two comments here. One is that he talked about David counseling himself in verse 1.

The Lord is my light, my salvation, my strength. Who should I be afraid of? And then he looks back over his past life in verse 2.

In the past, when the wicked, even his enemies and his foes, came upon him to eat up his flesh, they stumbled and fell. So he looks back and says, you know what? God protected me in the past when enemies came against me.

And so therefore, verses 3 and 4, he's going to protect me in the future. And so, past is prologue. with the Lord because he's the same yesterday today and forever and so as he has dealt with us he will deal with us so in your current circumstance if you're if you're anxious or fearful think back in your life about how God met you protected you provided for you And that will give you some encouragement about the fact that he's going to do that now, because if there's one thing we know about the Lord, that he doesn't change, and that he's faithful.

And then the second comment Mark made, which was a great comment, verse 14, that word, I don't know what it is. In the Hebrew that means to twist together like a rope. And so we take a small rope and we twist it together with other strands and we make a bigger rope.

And so the idea here is that we are entwining our lives with the Word of God and with the Son of God and waiting upon the purposes of God and as we wrap ourselves up in biblical perspective and in our relationship with God through prayer and reading the scriptures we gain strength. So Mark, great comments. Thank you for that.

And what an encouragement it is to look back and see how God has protected us and then to wrap our lives up in the life of the Lord, the word of the Lord, the promises of the Lord, and draw strength from him as we wait upon him. All right, any other comments? Please come down.

Hey, I think we had a follow-up there with Mark, KJ7PVT, and then Will, we will get you. Mark, go ahead. Okay, maybe I heard somebody else.

All right, Will, KM5S, please go ahead. One of the things that we often don't do is ask God to hear our prayer. And in verse 4 and verse 7, he says, I ask of the Lord.

And then in verse 7, he says, hear my prayer, Lord. We often don't do that, but maybe we should. Okay, I'm glad that's...

Yeah, Will, great comment there. He's saying we need to ask the Lord to hear our prayers because David does this quite often. Like in verse 7, hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice.

And Will is pointing out, and rightly so, that many, many times, Not only does David pray, but then he asks the Lord to hear his prayer. And Will was suggesting that we need to do that when we pray as well. And I agree, Will.

Whatever pattern David sets here for communion with God, is the pattern that is an excellent one for us to follow because it's one that's inspired by the Spirit of God. So, yes, as we open our prayers and in the middle of our prayers to say, Lord, please hear my prayer, is an expression of humility and a recognition that unless God hears, nothing will be achieved. All right, there was another station in there with Will that wanted to make a comment.

Other station, please come now. Okay, there's Eric, KD78. Eric, please go ahead.

Yeah, I was looking at verse 1 there, and he said it twice, "Shall I fear?" And I just remember the word, the word "fear" is the word, and he said, "I fear not him which kill the body, but I am not yet to fear the soul." But rather, "fear him which is evil to destroy soul and body and soul." I was kind of... But I read that it's kind of reminding of that. And also that's a very powerful call that he said, "If not, he's for us.

He can be against us." So, you know, the Lord, you know, he, you know, followed him and shaped that with his, you know, his way. You know, he is a defender of his children. That's kind of what I would say.

That would be 7-0. Roger, please go ahead. Now, these first three verses remind me of a young man who was set apart as representative of Israel, whether he asked for this or not.

And I'm thinking of the armies that were surrounding Saul and thinking about the context. that he, as a teenager, stood up to Goliath, and Goliath threatened that, I think he threatened that he would feed his flesh to the birds of the air, something to that effect, don't you? Yeah, copy that.

Well, you know, when David says in verse 3, though a host should encamp against me, my heart will not fear. The war should rise against me, and this will I be confident. Yes, many times he was surrounded by enemies, more times than we can hardly count.

And you're right, one of those times early in his life, was when he had to face Goliath. And he wasn't just facing Goliath, there's a whole army of Philistines standing in front of him. And so, you know, we are constantly surrounded by enemies.

We have the world, we have the flesh, we have the devil. You know, there's anti-Christian government and anti-Christian religion and anti-Christian society and just anti-Christian people who are hostile to what it is that we stand for and the message that we preach. And so, yeah, we are on a battlefield, and we have to recognize that if we're going to advance the kingdom, we're going to get pushback.

And so we have to assault the gates of hell that will not prevail, but they're not going to give up easily either. So if you ever feel like, man, the Christian life is just one conflict after the next, yeah, that's the normal Christian life right there. So we have to be faithful.

Thank God we have periods of respite and rest, but the battle never goes away. So yes, Roger, that was David's experience. and that's certainly ours as well.

Back to you there, Roger. And I think in verse 4 it kind of stood out to me when the NASB translators used a term, beautiful. Oh Lord, you're beautiful.

That song by, not Steve Green, but the other Green that was so famous. Keith, Keith Green. Oh Lord, you are, oh Lord, you are beautiful.

That really stood out, that wonderful memorial song. And it literally means delightfulness. Over here.

Yeah, so the Lord is delightful. The Lord is beautiful. I remember in Psalm 90 it says, And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us.

And, of course, His beauty is His holiness, right? And that's what makes the Lord beautiful is the purity, the holiness that He has. And, you know, thanks for making that connection with verse 4, Roger, because, you know, He's sitting here in verse 1 and He's saying, Who should I be afraid of?

"The Lord is my light, my salvation, my strength." And then he talks about his enemies. And then in verse 4 he talks about going to church. "My desire is to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life." So it's in fellowship with other believers.

in the house of God, hearing the Word of God preached, contemplating the sovereignty of God and the holiness of God and the strength of God, all of those things encourage him in the face of spiritual warfare. And, you know, during the week, I really get beat up, right? And then I go to church, and it's kind of like a hospital.

And it's a place where you hear the Word of God preached, you know, you worship, you sing hymns, you fellowship. Right? And all the means of grace flood in: healing, perspective, wisdom, encouragement, perspective.

And you can go back out into the battlefield refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to go again. And so David recognized it wasn't just his private prayers, as important as those were and as indispensable as those are, it was also the corporate encouragement and teaching in the temple when he went there, that was also that which strengthened him for the battle. Earlier, Mark was talking about this word weight being like twining a rope together.

And so we pulled together the strands of encouragement. You know, we have our private devotions, We have our private prayers, you know, maybe we share with our wife or our husband. And then we go to church, and that provides some of those strands of strength.

And so anyway, you know, David here recognized the need for corporate encouragement as well as private encouragement. All right, real good comment there, Roger. Thank you for that.

Well, I can't help it. Thank you, dude. as a typical lawyer who wants a place of elevation, the advantage.

And of course, in the animal world, it's the goats that want to get up on a rock. But the advantage to anyone fighting hand-to-hand experience to be above. Verse 5, and he will lift me up on a rock.

God does that for us. He gives us the vantage point. Over.

Yeah, amen. And not only is he high up, he's on strong, stable ground. He's on a rock.

And, you know, the Lord lifts us up above the fray. gives us perspective and, you know, helps us see what is going on around us for what it really is, and then supplies us with strength and wisdom to be able to respond to it. So, yes, verse 5, In the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilions.

In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me. He shall set me upon a rock. So God makes provision for us to be protected, to be lifted up, and to be strengthened.

So, Roger, great comment there. We have the advantage because we have a heavenly perspective. All right, I got a comment here from Eric KD7ES.

He says, I was noticing in verse 1, David repeated, whom shall I fear? That reminded me of our Lord Jesus when he says, do not fear them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. But fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell, Matthew 10 and verse 28.

And also, the Apostle Paul said in Romans 8, 13, if God be for us, then who can be against us? And so the Lord is the defender of his sons and daughters who follow after him, just like a shepherd protects his flock. Eric, great comment.

And, you know, when we realize that God is for us, no enemy can prevail against us, including Satan, because he's stronger than them all. And so he's our refuge. To him we run and hide and fight.

We recognize that whatever harm they do us, they can't harm our souls. They can't drive a wedge between us and God. He goes on to say there in Romans 8, Who shall separate us from the love of God?

And then he lists a whole bunch of things. And it's like nothing can separate us from the love of God. Nothing can separate us from the protection of God.

And so therein lies our security and our confidence in the face of those who are trying to harm us because of God before us as you said who can be against us great comment Eric thank you for texting me that appreciate that all right any other comments please come now who's that extent Kevin KB7 is that extent go ahead Good morning again, everyone. Yeah, good comments. And, you know, I was just noticing here, too, and maybe I missed a comment.

I had to step away for a couple of minutes here. But, you know, from verses 1 to 6, what a beautiful passage. declaration of faith here.

But then in verse 7, we see really David going from declaration to desperation. But it's really the same faith that we see in the first six verses as we see in verses 7 through 12. And one thing you'll notice here is that his heart is seeking his faith.

In other words, you see, David opened up his heart and is seeking deep within, seeking being in the presence of God and in the favor of God in this moment of great need. But we see this. David is not seeking him uninvited.

He's following God's command. You know, as we looked at the end of chapter Psalm 24 and Psalm 25, God invites us to seek his face. And in 2 Chronicles, I think it's 714, he calls upon the nation of Israel to seek his face.

And so it is an invitation from God. for us to seek him and to seek his face. So this is a real response in this time of need of David, whatever that is, that David is exercising that command of God, if you will, that desire of God to seek him and seek him from the depths of his heart.

KV7 is that example. Yeah, amen. You know, prayer is such an important part.

I mean, David is talking to himself in verse 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 all the way through verse 6. And he's counseling himself about what he should do, how he should think, what he should be feeling. and the response he should be having.

And after talking to himself about the perspective he should be having, he then prayed. Verse 7 through verse 12. Here, O Lord, when I cry with my voice...

have mercy upon me and answer me. So he goes from contemplating God and the scriptures and then praying to God about those contemplations and regarding his need. And so, you know, it's not enough to read the scriptures and to draw encouragement out of the scriptures, we then secondly need to pray to God about what we've read, about the concerns we have, and ask him directly for help.

Kevin, thank you for pointing that out. Really appreciate that. Good comment.

KM5F. Will, please go ahead. Yeah, kind of a follow-up of what Kevin said and what I had commented earlier.

Many of the prophets at the start of their prayers, they ask God to hear or listen or I think in the case of Daniel, he said, "Open your ears." And he did it several times in chapter 9 of Daniel. So this is just unique to David. Solomon also did.

So did Isaiah and Ezekiel and Jeremiah. Yeah, well, and I think the reason for that is that it's a recognition God has no obligation to hear us, right? I mean, who are we?

We are sinful people who deserve the wrath of God. And so when we come to God and we say, Lord, open your ears or Lord, hear my prayer. or, "Lord, listen to my plea," what we're really acknowledging is that He has no obligation to do so, and we are in a position of not demanding anything out of God.

And so it's an expression of humility, It's an expression of the fact that God does not owe us anything. And it's a recognition of the fact that if he hears our prayers, that is a condescension on his part. It's an act of grace and mercy on his part, upon which we have no claim.

And so I think, Will, what this really is, it's an expression of humility, recognizing my place in relationship to God is one of unworthiness. You know, what is man that thou art mindful of him and the son of man that you consider him? And it's a recognition that we are not in a position to demand anything out of God.

You know, the first beatitude, blessed are the poor in spirit. And that just simply means we have nothing to offer God. We have no currencies.

with which we can buy God's favor or demand God's attention or require any particular act out of God. So, Will, thank you once again for bringing that point out and reinforcing that. I really appreciate that.

KM5F, follow up. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm looking at this in a couple different versions.

In verse 8 it says, "When you said..." So he's talking to God. "Seek my face, my heart said to you, 'Your face, O Lord, I shall speak.'" In the NLT it says, "My heart said to you, 'Your face, O Lord, I shall speak.'" kind of clears it up a little bit. It says, My heart has heard you say, Come and talk with me.

So this is a two-way conversation in verse 8. It's David and Lord having a conversation, KM5S. Yeah, exactly.

And how does God speak to us? Well, he speaks to us through his word. For example, he says, Seek, and you shall find.

Knock, and it shall be opened to you. Ask, and it shall be given to you. Right?

I think I put that in reverse order. But the point is, is that there are numerous invitations in the scriptures for us to pray. Elsewhere, Jesus says, men are always to pray and not to faint.

And then he says, after this man are praying. And so we have all these wonderful invitations. And then, of course, we have the promises.

We have all the statements about God's will for our lives. And so our prayer is a response to His Word. And what I find will is that as I read the Bible and then I pray according to what I just read, There is that two-way conversation.

God talks to me in His Word. I talk back to Him in prayer. And then as I keep reading, He talks back to me.

And this is a conversation that takes place. And so, you're right. Prayer is a conversation with God.

He speaks through His Word. We speak to Him out of our heart. and he responds with his word.

I can't tell you how many times I've been praying about something that a scripture verse in relationship to that very issue pops into my head. And I just say, thank you, Lord. You know, we have this promise that the Spirit is going to bring all things to our remembrance, whatever God has said to us.

And so what I find is that as I'm praying, the Spirit brings to my remembrance passages that deal with the very matter I'm praying about, and that is really God's conversation with me about that subject matter. Will, thank you for that further comment. All right, any other comments, please come out.

I have been on the fence about mentioning what I'm going to bring up now, ever since we started the psalm. And this is backing out, and it applies to David specifically. But I'm going to reference it back to verse 1 when you talked early in the study, and someone shared a question, a glimpse into the minds of the psalmers, and I'll extend that to the heart.

What does God have to say about David's heart? Well, in 1 Samuel 13 and 14, oh gosh, that's the verse. I'm not giving the chapter.

I don't have that. But also in Acts 19.22, God says, tells us about the heart of David. He had a heart after God.

And then a further extension of that, how did David react when he was told of Saul's death? Well, he lamented. He wasn't happy that this man that was chasing him, the villain, had been killed.

And in fact, he had that man put to death somewhere in the Samuel. as well. Just an illustration of David's heart, a look into the mind and the heart as God recorded it in the Word.

Back to you. Yeah, and thanks for bringing that out, Jerry. You know, Christianity is preeminently a religion of the heart.

And as you said there, that passage in Acts, David, you know, it says that David was a man after God's own heart. And you know, the only way we learn about the heart of God is by reading the Word of God and the self-revelation God gives to us about His heart. If God didn't tell us what's in His heart, we wouldn't know.

Just like if you don't tell me what's in your heart, I don't know what's in your heart. I can't see. But of course God does see into our hearts, right?

And so we need to be honest in our hearts. We need to be transparent in our hearts. We need to be vulnerable in our hearts to God and just tell the truth and just spread ourselves out before the Lord with honesty and transparency and then talk with him about that.

So Christianity is the opposite of formalism. Christianity is a religion of genuine heart communion with God at the very depths of our inner man. And we really see that in David's Psalms.

I mean, a guy who didn't have a heart relationship with God couldn't have said the kinds of things he said and couldn't have offered the kinds of prayers that he offered. And so David's heart was wound up. in God's heart and God's heart was wound up in David's heart and that was the problem with the Pharisees they honor me with their lips but their heart is far from me and so let's be close to God in our heart and not just with our words and as we have that heart relationship THERE'S A TREMENDOUS PEACE THAT COMES, A CLOSENESS THAT COMES, A SENSE OF BEING COMFORTED BY GOD AND LOVED BY GOD, BECAUSE WE'RE CLOSE TO HIM IN OUR HEARTS.

Father, thank you that you are a God who delivers us from our fears. Father, indeed, there is nothing and no one more powerful than you. And as a father protects his children, so you protect yours.

And while you certainly do allow us to be challenged and stressed so that we might grow and learn, yet nevertheless you never suffer us to be tempted or tested above that which we are able. But with the temptation you provide us a way of escape. Father, we just ask you now to hear our prayer.

and to look upon us with compassion. Lord, we realize that you owe us nothing, but Father, you have invited us to come and to spread our needs out before you. And so, Father, we just pray that as verse 9 says, hide not your face from me.

put not your servant away in anger you have been my help leave me not nor forsake me oh God of my salvation and so Father we pray today that you would teach us your way lead us in the plain path deliver us not over to the will of our enemies and Father we just are waiting on you wrapping our life up in yours Strengthen our hearts, Lord, and give us deliverance from all of the enemies that are so ready, Father, to take us in. Lord, we just want to pray today for LKJ722H and the men's conference that's going on there in the churches in Veneta. Lord, I pray that your blessing would be on speakers who are bringing the word of God and on listeners who are hearing it.

Lord, may these men be strengthened in their spiritual leadership, in their spiritual walk, and in their spiritual boldness. Father, we just pray for strong male leadership in our churches, in our homes, and in our nations. Father, we just want to pray today for Ed in 6XOH, his brother-in-law Ed, and just pray for his recovery from his heart ablation procedure.

We pray that this time it would permanently fix that arrhythmia that's going on in his heart. We pray that he and his wife would be able to sell their house quickly so that they can move and that, Lord, you would meet their needs. Lord, we pray for his mom and her recovery from a heart pacemaker surgery.

Lord, I just pray that she would then be able to keep that arm still, that she needs to, and that Lord, she would have full recovery and a steady heartbeat as a result of that pacemaker. Lord, we pray for Mark, KJ7PVT, his mom. who is a strong believer in Christ, is at the end of her life.

Lord, I just pray for a gentle passing into the arms of Jesus. Lord, just release her from this body of suffering and bring her safely into your arms. Father, she's lived a life of service to you.

And now, Father, we pray that she would receive her reward by passing into your presence and enjoying all the blessings of heaven. Father, we pray. for Will, that his hormone treatment and radiation will be effective in restraining and removing his prostate cancer.

We pray for Carol, that she would heal her lower back pain. Pray that her son-in-law Chris's diabetes would be controlled so he can have his back surgery on July 30th. Father, we pray for our brother Tom, WW7T.

Didn't hear Tom's voice this morning. Trust that he was able to listen. Lord, he's got a lot of struggles.

Give him healing in his heart over the loss of his wife. Give him healing in his mind. from the surgery that he had.

And, Father, we just pray that you would stop his leg cramps. May they subside. Lord, Tom has a bunch of knees.

And, Lord, look on him with compassion. And, Lord, meet those knees, heal him, and provide... proper care for him.

Lord, we just want to pray today for Brother Beck. Thank you for the healing that he's obtained so far from his accident. We pray for continued healing and the resolution of his double vision.

Lord, he's got an appointment on Monday with a healer doctor. I pray that would go well. and that his hearing in that ear would fully recover from the damage that was done to it.

Father, we pray for Beck and Sandy's neighbor, Nancy. Lord, heal her, not only from her terminal cancer, but from her blindness and bondage to Satan. Lord, I pray that you would save her, and that Beck and Sandy would have opportunities to share the gospel with her.

and that you would open her heart to that message. Lord, continue to pray for George, KJX, for the healing of his shoulder. And, Lord, we just pray your blessing would be on him.

I haven't heard from George in a while, and hopefully he'll come back on the air soon. Father, continue to pray for my pastor, Jeff Black, who has severe ulcerative colitis. Lord, we pray for his healing.

And, Lord, I just pray that the medical treatment he's receiving would bring about a restoration of good health to that area of his body. Lord, we pray for Cody K07TRF, his father, Roger, has colon cancer. Pray that the chemotherapy and radiation would be used by you to heal that.

We pray especially for his uncle, Doug, who had a severe head injury. And, Lord, have a series of surgeries ahead of him. But Lord, I just pray especially for the healing and recovery of his mental trauma that was caused by the accident.

Father, every time they take him out of his coma and bring him back to consciousness, Father, There's just a great deal of violence going on there. And, Lord, like he's fighting with the incident of his accident. And, Lord, I pray for peace in his heart, peace in his mind, calmness.

Lord, heal his brain. from the trauma that was inflicted on us, both spiritually and physically and emotionally. Lord, just have mercy on this man.

Lord, we pray for Cody Z. Zoe, that you would save her. Father, we pray also for our brother Keith, WB7RKR.

Lord, help Keith to trust God. with the difficult circumstances he's in. May he make godly decisions regarding them.

Just pray that he'd have wisdom and patience in talking to his wife, Ronnie, and in managing her dementia. Father, pray for Ronnie, that you would help her to be calm, help her to be peaceful. Lord, I just pray that Keith's physical health with his heart, would be met and also for his balance.

Father, pray for our brother Roger at WV7VZL. Father, he's preaching today. And Lord, I just pray that as he preaches, you would fill his words with the power and presence of the Spirit, and that, Lord, you would use those words to save people and to transform lives.

and encourage the believers into the image of Christ. Father, we pray for Al, KJ7QQH, as well. Lord, for his church, Fern Ridge Christian Church, still needs a pastor.

Lord, I pray that you would raise a man up to shepherd that flock. Lord, we know there's a bunch of people listening to the West Coast Bible Study who don't check in. Lord, they have needs, and Lord, we pray for their needs.

We don't know what they are, but you do. And so, Father, meet the needs of the silent multitude who are listening. We love them.

We're glad they're here. And, Lord, we pray for their encouragement, their edification, and the meeting of their needs. Lord, we just continue to pray for Brian, KJ7PWM, and as witness to Chris, his old friend, Father, who seems to have kind of shut him out.

Lord, I pray for Chris' salvation. I pray that avenues of communication would continue to be reopened between him and Brian. Lord, we continue to pray for our brother Jeff, AK6OK, and his ongoing Bible distribution to soldiers and installation of chapels and Navy ships.

Lord, I pray that the soldiers who have already gotten Bibles will read them. We pray for this new shipment, Father, that would arrive soon and that you would use it, Father, to bring salvation to a multitude of our armed forces. Lord, we just pray that Jeff's grandson Noah and his girlfriend would repent, receive Christ as Savior, turn away from their sinful choices, and just humble themselves before you and have a close and warm walk with you.

Father, we continue to pray for Mark W7UAR. and his friend Tyler, who seems to be doing a little better with his drug addiction. But, Father, we just pray for Tyler, that he would be able to completely put that out of his life altogether, that he would become saved and that he would walk in the Spirit rather than in the influence of drugs.

We pray for Mark's mom, Fran, who is also at the end of life. Lord she has old age related health issues have mercy on her and bring her to be with yourself in due time give mark and his wife wisdom and caring for friends Lord we just want to pray for all of the pastors of all of our churches Lord many are preaching today, many are preaching tomorrow. Lord, I just pray that each of them might have the presence and power of your Spirit.

And Father, may they bring up blessing to your people as they rightly expound and explain the Word of God to them. Father, we also want to pray for the unsaved and the unchurched in our communities, that they would hear and believe the gospel. Lord, we pray for Burt, W7RKD, that you would cause those wildfires that are there around Montana and Detroit, Montana to be put out.

We pray that you would give them clear skies and clean air to breathe. Father, protect the firefighters. Give them success.

And, Lord, I pray that these firefighters would not consume any homes. Father, we pray for Mike, W7TWO. Just pray, Lord, that you would heal his shoulder, his hand, his polio.

Lord, help him to regulate his degree of activity so he gets things done. without overdoing it and creating problems for him on the next day. Thank you, Lord, for the good news that Randy's foot is almost healed up.

Just pray, Lord, that you would continue to provide healing. And, Lord, we just pray that you would just bring joy and happiness to Mike and Sherry. through Oli, the little puppy.

And Father, help him to be a good boy. Father, thank you for your kindness, goodness, and mercy in providing us a Savior. We thank you for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ.

And Father, we pray in his name and ask that he would hear our prayers and grant to us the things that we have requested today. In Jesus' name, amen.
