The facial bones that they had to reconstruct are healing well. But it's a battle one. Copy that.

So looking forward to it. KM5S. All right, Will had a PET scan for prostate cancer and now correct me Will if I'm wrong here but I understood you to say you're going to have thermal therapy plus radiation over the process of time, is that correct?

Lord, thank you so much for getting us together this morning. It's a beautiful Wednesday morning. And you're on the throne, as you always are.

And we are grateful to have you here with us every single day. I absolutely refuse, and everybody else on here does too. So please guide us as we go through this and just expand the view of all of this.

I think it's awesome. And Lord, we pray for all those that are going through stuff right now, and everybody is. like we talked about yesterday, Lord, in the valley of the shadow of death, which we go into but we come out of, and we're grateful for that.

Lord, thank you so much for this day. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. Amen.

Thank you so much for that. And may God be pleased to answer each of those requests. All right, we are in Psalm 24 today.

And before Jerry reads, I want to give a little bit of introduction to Psalm 24. You know, as we've studied through the book of Psalms, we find before us a trilogy of messianic psalms. Psalm 22, Psalm 23, and now today Psalm 24 are all messianic psalms in that they speak very clearly and prophetically of Jesus Christ.

in the various facets of his saving work on behalf of his people. And so in Psalm 22, we saw Christ as the suffering Savior who was forsaken by God and hated by men and who died on the cross in order to save us from our sins. And then in Psalm 23, we saw Christ as a sensitive shepherd who provides for every need of his people in every area of their lives.

And now in Psalm 24, we see Christ as the supreme sovereign. who rules the world, who rules his people, and to whom all things must yield submission and obedience. So what we have here before us in Psalm 22, Psalm 23, and Psalm 24 is Christ as the Savior, Psalm 22, Christ as the Shepherd in Psalm 23, that the King of Glory may come in.

Who is the King of Glory? The Lord, strong and mighty. The Lord, mighty and vast.

Lift up your head. Okay. And lift them up.

A one-tip door, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is the King of Glory? And the point he makes is the primary ownership of all things by God supersedes and overrides any secondary claim that any idol have.

In fact, that idol... Kevin, thank you for pointing out how that Paul quotes Psalm 24 and verse 1 in 1 Corinthians chapter 10 and verse 26. In 1 Corinthians 10, 26, that passage that Kevin cited, the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof.

So, yes, God owns the entire earth, everything on it, everyone on it. And the reason why, of course, is because he created it all. I mean, you know, if you make a wooden cabinet in your garage out of raw material, Well, that belongs to you.

You made it. You own it. And no one could just come and take it, right?

Well, when God makes the whole universe and he makes the world and he makes all the people on it and all the things on it, it all belongs to him. And so he here is asserting right out of the gate the universal kingdom that he has and that his ownership of the world and all it contains and the people that all that dwell on it is asserted. And the basis for that ownership, of course, is declared in verse 2, that God created it all.

So he has a right to the earth and all it contains because he made it by his own power and wisdom. Because as it says in Genesis 1-1, right, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Kevin, thank you for bringing out that quotation of this first verse.

in 1 Corinthians 10.26. And once again, we see the New Testament authors affirming the inspiration and authority of the Old Testament, and the Old Testament providing the framework on which the New Testament is formed. Kevin, great comment.

Thank you for that. All right, other comments, please come down. All right, well, it's a little quiet out there, so I will make another comment.

And that is, if the Lord owns everything and everyone, that means he owns me and all of my stuff. And so, therefore, I am just a steward, a manager of someone else's property. God owns me.

You know, we're bought with a price. We're not our own. And therefore, we glorify God in our body and our spirit.

And, of course, what do I have that I've not received? And so everything I have has been given to me by God. So instead of looking at myself as an owner, I look at myself as a manager, as a steward of God's property.

My body is his property. My possessions are his property. And so it says in 1 Corinthians chapter 4, let a man so account of us as the stewards of God.

more of it's required of stewards than a man being found faithful so since God created me God owns me I need to give an account to him for how I manage myself and how I manage his stuff because it all belongs to him so Stop seeing yourself as an owner, start seeing yourself as a manager of someone else's possession. This works out pretty well when you lose something. I remember I got a real expensive lawnmower stolen from me once when I was in the landscaping business.

You know, it's like, well, that was God's mower, and I guess he wanted somebody else to have it. So my management and stewardship of that item is over with, and that's now been transferred into somebody else's hands. And it gave me a lot of peace to know that...

They didn't steal from me. They stole from God. And they took his item, and I still think about that guy to this day.

Ha! Wondering how did that go for him when he stole God's lower? In any event, back to the net.

Zed Xen, Kevin, please go ahead. AB7 Zed Xen, you know, what a wonderful perspective to be able to have. Because it is hard when you work hard and have something taken from you.

I want to look at it from another perspective, too. As we approach the gate, like in verse 3 of worship, of who we are worshiping is the Creator. And I know yesterday I'm part of another smaller prayer group that we meet on zoom on Tuesday nights and one gentleman that we're lifting up a prayer his name is Colin who's lifted up and Because he is really having one calamity after another in his life but he's kind of part of a new age way of thinking and thinking that somehow the universe is is going to serve him well and answer his hopes and desires, I suppose.

But the truth is, again, here we see the mistake and how often we see it. the times of old and times of today, people worshiping the creation and not the creator. You know, God Almighty, the one we worship, the one whose gate we come to in worship, is the one that created all things.

So let us not be fooled by the fact by the magnificent in the glory of the creation and worship their creation because it is only the form we worship the creator who is the substance kb7 is that example yeah kevin thank you for pointing that out um yeah people worship the creation rather than the creator And the whole New Age movement talks about Mother Nature with a capital M and a capital N, as though Mother Nature is a self-conscious provider of all that we have. And, of course, that's ridiculous. God doesn't.

is the one who provided nature and worked through it in order to meet our physical needs. And we're grateful for that. But Romans 1 talks about the foolishness of those who worship the creation rather than the creator who is blessed forever.

So you have a whole New Age movement that tries to block out God and say, well, we got here by evolution, and there's some mysterious intelligence in that evolutionary process. and the nature that it produced and that intelligence is somehow thinking of us, providing for us, and is going to meet our needs out of the echoes of the vast empty places of space. And the foolishness of that is just simply because if nature is your God, then nature makes no moral demands on you.

If God is your God, well, you've got the Ten Commandments, and that is a whole different ball of wax. And that boils down to the whole issue of who is sovereign, and that's the theme of this psalm, right? The theme of this psalm is the sovereignty of God, and that sovereignty is rooted in the fact that He created all things, and also rooted in the fact that He redeemed His people.

And so He talks about His own particular people there in verses 3 to 6, the generation of those who seek Him. These are not just created folks, these are redeemed folks. And you'll notice verses 3 to 6 is actually a quotation of a psalm we looked at earlier, Psalm 15, verses 1 to 5.

So the question is, who shall ascend into the hills of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? And then the fruits of genuine salvation are listed there.

And these are the people who don't just acknowledge themselves as being created by God, but as those who have been redeemed by God and who have devoted their lives to him through repentance and faith in Jesus. All right. Kevin, thank you for the comment.

That's Tom. Tom, please go ahead. Yeah, I was thinking about what you were saying about, you know, I was thinking about the stuff I've had going on in the past eight years that's like $2.5 million of big generators and everything else.

I said, you know, I don't have to worry about it because of the fact that God, if there were gods, and God knows where they were and who took them, And he will deal with them. Yeah, well said, Tom. Tom was saying, for those who might not have been able to hear him, that he's had over three-quarters of a million dollars' worth of stuff stolen from him, generators and whatnot.

And he was just reflecting on the fact that God knows who stole those things, and they didn't get away with it. You know, that's the frustrating thing, Tom, is a lot of times, you know, things happen like that, and no one's caught, and no one's punished, and there's no restitution. They didn't get away with it.

God saw. God knows. And God will deal with them.

And in the end, there will be justice. If the civil authority doesn't get it, then the divine authority will. Tom, thanks for sharing that.

And you know, even though many of us have been stolen from quite dramatically, You know, God still continues to meet all of our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. And it's painful to see things we worked for taken. But at the same time, we do have food.

We do have clothing. We still have lots of things to be thankful for. that we have to focus on all the things God has given to us and not focus on the things that he has in his providence allowed others to take away from us.

Well, I'm looking at this end of verse 6. Who seek thy face, even Jacob. Again, here's Jacob.

He's the deceiver. and he was led by his mother into deceit with the birthright. So as you say, this is dealing with God's people.

And in verse 4, And he has not sworn deceitfully, or the previous line, who has not lifted up his soul in falsehood. And so there is an amazing character transformation for God's people from turning from Jacob into Israel. You know, that transformation is...

so refreshing in the scripture that god accepts the jacob and takes us as we are over roger what a great comment um yeah we see jacob uh lying and scheming with his mother to steal um the birthright or the blessing, I guess it was, from Isaac. And then, of course, he has to flee to Uncle Laban's house. And, you know, there's two grand events there, Roger, where, you know, as he's on his way to Laban's house, You recall he had that vision in the night of the ladder being set up to heaven, and the angels going up and down on it.

And he said, "This is the house of God." And at that point in time, I think that's when he was actually converted, perhaps. You know, because he made a commitment that he would give God ownership of a tenth of everything he had, recognizing God's sovereignty and ownership of him, all of his productivity, and all of his possessions. And then, of course, he goes there, and he's there for many years.

He acquires several wives and a bunch of kids and flocks. And then he goes back to meet his brother Esau. And just before he crosses over the river, you remember he has that wrestling match with the angel who was of course the Lord Jesus.

And he said, "I will not let you go except you bless me." You know, at the beginning of his sojourn away from his family and at the end of his sojourn away from his family, when he's returning back to God, he has these two tremendous interactions with God. And, you know, he went from being a deceiver to being an honest man. He went from being someone who was unsaved to someone who was saved.

And, you know, that transformation is really described in these verses, okay? He did have clean hands and a pure heart. He stopped lying and swearing deceitfully.

And so what a transformation, as you said, from Jacob to Israel through conversions. And what an amazing journey that was and what hope that gives to all of us. Maybe we've been liars.

Maybe we've been cheats or thieves or whatever. There's redemption for everyone. Jacob is a classic example of it.

We, I, am a classic example of that. once I was lost, but now I'm found. So praise the Lord for redemption, for reconciliation with God, and for transformation of ourselves into new people who now model ourselves after the character of God instead of in contradiction to it.

Well, KB7, ZXN, and Roger, thank you for that too, and Max, as well as your expounding on that a little more as well. And that is truly such an important principle. So often it is easy for one to focus on the the old nature of Jacob and his deceptive ways.

And I've heard the question so often asked, well, why would God choose him over Esau? Why would he choose someone that is so deceptive? By his very name, I think it means heel catcher, one that kind of just grabbing at the heels, the trickster, the manipulator.

And, you know, that's a great question. But the answer is just as you've explained, and that is in the transformation that is of God. And Jacob was not deserving of God's grace, but yet nor...

am I or you? None of us can pick ourselves up by our own bootstraps and straighten ourselves up and be right before God. It doesn't work that way.

As God is the Almighty and the Sovereign and the Creator, it is Him who is the Creator. that provides the salvation and His Spirit that does the transformation within us. And that's such an important principle, and it is the point made here.

So thank you, Roger, and thank you, Max, for highlighting that. KB7 is an example. Yeah, Kevin, appreciate that.

All right, any other comments on this section, Sound 24, please come out. Right, WB7MX here, Net Control for the West Coast Bible Study. I just want to comment for a minute on verse 4, the characteristics of a converted man.

Here are people who are reconciled to God, here are people who are on their way to heaven. If we're trying to decide if someone is saved or not, verse 4 says, is really a great filter to use to evaluate ourselves and others. And verse 4 says that the mark of a Christian, the mark of the one who is converted and is going to go to heaven, is that they have clean hands.

And that speaks, of course, of the outward holiness of behavior. Your hands are what you do stuff with, right? So how do you behave?

And the idea of holiness here is that here's someone who obeys God's laws in his conduct. And then the next phrase, there is a pure heart. And that speaks of the inward holiness and motive and thought.

And so here's a person who fears God in his heart, guards his heart with all diligence, and brings into captivity every thought to the obedience of Jesus. And then it says here that they have not lifted up their soul unto vanity. And the idea here of vanity is that of an idol, if any false god.

So here's someone who not only has outward holiness of behavior and inward holiness of motive and thought, but... Here's someone who has an undivided loyalty. They haven't lifted their soul up to worship a false god.

The gods of this world, you know, materialism, recreation, fame, power, money, they don't set their affections on the things of this world, the idols of this world. And then the fourth thing it says there, "nor sworn deceitfully." That is, here's someone who has a consistent integrity. this person keeps their word they say what they mean they mean what they say they don't lie they don't mislead or deceive people there are people who are committed to honesty they keep their promises so this is the mark of the people who are saying They have, their outward conduct is godly.

Their inward thoughts are oriented towards God. Their loyalty to God is exclusive. They don't worship any other source of ultimate authority.

And they always tell the truth. They're not liars. So anyway, that's the mark and the characteristics of someone who is safe.

ZXM, please go ahead. maybe sevens that extent well max and again you make a very important point here and and we see that in in uh you know it is not enough to believe in god in just this the intellectual side of it or to know that he exists and to know that he is the creator uh even lucifer and the demons acknowledge that and they know very well that he is who he says he is but trusting him in faith both as savior and walking with him daily uh as is redeemed is something altogether different and that is what is described here as you well point out and and and and that is walking in faith WILL OFTEN HIGHLIGHTS, WHICH IS AT THE HEART OF IT. YOU KNOW, AS WE'VE LEARNED, TOLD IN THE OLD TESTAMENT AND THE NEW TESTAMENT, THAT JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

AS PAUL SAYS IN SECOND CORINTHIANS 5:7, WE LIVE BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT. And this is what this looks like. It's not like the Pharisees or the rich ruler that came to Jesus and said, what can I do to save myself?

What can I do to be saved? Well, it's not what he has done. It's more like Zacchaeus in the next chapter of Luke who repented had evidence of that repentance and made Jesus his Lord so very important point thank you for making that max because this is it that we would humble ourselves surrender ourselves to him and the wonderful gift he has given us and that we might be blessed by walking with him and make the difficult decisions through life, denying ourselves oftentimes, picking up our own cross daily.

But to God be the glory. KB7, Zennickson. Yeah, well said, Kevin.

And thank you for maintaining that critically important distinction between the basis of salvation and the fruit of salvation. The basis of salvation is grace alone, through faith alone, and Christ alone. He saves us.

We don't save ourselves. But when He saves us, He transforms us, and as a result, there are certain behaviors that flow out of... The salvation that Christ provided to us all by himself and which we receive by faith apart from works.

But the faith that saves is also the faith that transforms and fruit flows out of that saving grace that God gives to us. You know, verse 5, he shall receive the blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. And so, you know, God has created people in general, you know, verses 1 and 2.

But now he has his own people in particular, that is, those who are saved and reconciled to him. And they are the objects of his blessing. and of His gifts.

And so, you know, God has His universal kingdom where He rules over everything and everyone in the whole world. And then He has His mediatorial kingdom, which is His saved people who are under the saving grace of His Son, Jesus Christ. and he has a narrower and more specific rule over them.

And, of course, whether they are part of the universal kingdom or whether they are part of the mediatorial kingdom, verse 7 through 10 follows. And that is that the command is repeatedly given to us for every obstacle and every person to give way to the King of glory as he approaches, to deny him no entry and to open every door to his demand. And this is foreshadowed in the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem the week before he was crucified.

And you remember he went in riding on a donkey, right? And everybody's saying, Hosanna to the son of David, Hosanna in the highest. And what they were saying is, bring us salvation, son of David.

And, of course, they were putting palm branches in the way and putting their clothing in the way and basically showing that Jesus was king and declaring him to be the king. And so that was what we call the triumphal entry of his first coming. Well, he's going to have a triumphal entry of the second coming, isn't he?

And that's described in Revelation 19, where he's going to come, symbolically speaking, on a white horse with a sword proceeding out of his mouth. He's going to vanquish all of his enemies. And then the earth will be the Lord's and the fullness thereof in every respect and in every dimension.

The point is that Jesus needs to have a triumphal entry into your life. He needs to ride unimpeded into the center of your heart, sit on the throne of your life, and rule and reign there by your submission and by your permission that, Lord, I want you to rule. I'm going to remove every bar and every barrier of resistance to you, and I'm going to yield every dimension of my life to your rule and to your authority.

No gates are going to be shut. No bars are going to be placed between your will and my will. But my will is going to become your will.

Go ahead. Well, thank you, Bax, on the chapter ending. I have in my Bible handwritten, the ascension and I can just imagine with these words helping us to imagine Jesus being welcomed into heaven as the new victorious man representing all of us and heaven's thrilling experience where the cross, of course, was the incredible, for the universe, the incredible solving of the solution of sin through the Lamb, you know, Revelation 5, 6.

But I'm thinking of verse 4 again, because in my side margin I have reference to Psalm 5110, David's repentant psalm. and I didn't read verse 10, but it takes the Holy Spirit to take away a level of covetousness that the human heart, like in Romans chapter 7, you know, the covetousness, as Paul summarizes in Romans 7, is just pervasive and unless the Holy Spirit tempers our defective wills, it will go awry. And no wonder Jesus in Matthew 5:8 on the Sermon on the Mount in the Beatitudes talks about the purity of the heart.

and then bless his heart of course Ezekiel I was just reading Ezekiel 18:15 about issues of purity where the prophet says he does not eat at the mountain shrines or lift up his eyes to the idols, which in a sense is idols, that covetousness of the house of Israel. So there's always something better, you know, in our hearts. or defile his neighbor's wife.

There's always something supposedly better. And it's a huge challenge for David, as he well knew. And I see why they put Psalm 51, verse 10 in there.

Amen. Yeah, amen. Well said, Roger.

And, yes, that is one of the problems that we have is the whole idea of ownership, you know, and covetousness. I want to own that versus yieldedness. God owns all of this.

and I'm letting it go into his hands. I'm putting myself in the position of a manager and not an owner, and I'm going to be content with what he's provided me with. You know, it says in Hebrews 13...

You know, let your life be without covetousness and be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you, so that you may boldly say, the Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man shall do to me.

And, you know, when God has ownership, we have security, we have peace. And we become free from that covetousness. And if God blesses us with lots of stuff, that just means we have a bigger stewardship.

And we have lesser stuff, well, that's less trouble and less bother. So, you know, whether we have little or whether we have a lot, it's blessing either way. And, you know, you're so right, Roger.

We fight with this issue of covetousness. And one of the ways to overcome that is this. give up ownership and become a manager and a steward.

I did receive a comment here from Mark KJ7PBT by way of email. And he said, here's a little background of how Psalm 24 was presented during the time when David brought the ark up. from Kirjath-Jerim.

You remember the ark was not... had been stolen by the Philistines, right? And then it was brought back, and it was parked at somebody's house.

And David decides, "Well, I'm going to go get that thing, and I'm going to bring it up and stick it in the tabernacle in Jerusalem where it belongs." You remember that event well. This Psalm 24 was sung in that procession led by David Josephus, the Jewish historian, says that seven choirs of singers and musicians marched in front of the Ark as it was brought to Mount Zion where David had prepared the tabernacle for it until the temple was built. this verse in Psalm 24 and verse 10, Lift up your heads, O you gates, even lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

And this speaks of David bringing the ark into Jerusalem, and like every barrier should be removed to the coming of God into his tabernacle. But also, it's a picture of the Lord as he returns to the Father, after his resurrection when he ascended to heaven. So here's Jesus on earth right after his resurrection.

He ascends to heaven, and the idea there is that heaven should open its gates to the Lord Jesus. And then, of course, there's this reference to the second coming, when the Lord will come back and every barrier will fall before him. So that's Mark's KJ7 PBT story.

comment by way of email. Mark, thank you for that. So we have kind of a three-fold reference here.

The ark going into Jerusalem, Jesus ascending into heaven after his resurrection, and Jesus coming back the second time. Each of those times, every barrier was removed. And I just want to say, by way of closing here, because we're way out of time, Jesus needs to have a triumphal entry into each one of our lives.

we need to allow him to march into the center of our lives take his throne and be the king of glory and if you're putting up barriers or gates to God in any area of your life just tear those down and say Jesus you're lord of this as well alright that's our psalm psalm 24 great psalm lots to meditate on there alright any final prayer requests before I lead us in prayer please come now with your prayer request All right, well, let's go to the Lord in prayer. Father, we acknowledge that you own us by virtue of creation. Father, you made us.

We belong to you. And our whole lives are to be yielded to your service. And then, Father, you own us not only by right of creation, but by right of redemption.

Father, you saved us. You bought us out of sin and out of Satan's kingdom and brought us into the kingdom of Jesus. Father, we acknowledge that we're not our own because we're created, and we're not our own because we're redeemed.

And so because of that, we acknowledge, Lord, your sovereignty over our lives. And, Lord, just now, we open our hearts to you. Ride triumphantly into our hearts.

and take control of every area of our life and be pleased to rule and reign there. We know that your rule and reign is a benevolent rule and reign. It's for the blessing of your people.

And as it's said there in verse 5, we shall receive a blessing from the Lord. when we are yielded to him and to his sovereignty. So, Father, we look forward to the time when Jesus triumphantly returns to this earth.

Until then, Father, help us to be faithful in our walk and in our witness and in our worship. And now, Father, we have a bunch of needs that we want to bring before you. Father, we think of Keith K7NEB, Father, and the fact that his son and wife are traveling in order to fight fire for the military.

And Lord, we pray that you give them safety as they travel and safety as they work. you would protect them and indeed all the firefighters. Father, we heard from Jerry, 8070R, that there's a large fire in Jackson County and people are having to be evacuated.

Lord, we pray that that fire would be brought under control. We pray the firefighters would be kept safe. And Lord, we pray that all the homes would be saved from being burned down.

Lord, we've seen much of that in past years. And Lord, I pray that through these fires, people would be moved to recognize that this is just a foretaste of hell. And Lord, may they be moved to repent and receive Jesus as Savior so that they are not cast into that eternal lake of fire that the Bible threatens all the unrepentant with.

And Father, thank you that Jesus... and saves us from that by saving us from our sins. Father, we want to return praise today for Bruce K4VCL, 77 years old today.

Father, thank you so much for giving him all those years of life, and thank you, Father, for saving him and giving him a life of redemption and salvation. So not only physical life, Father, but spiritual life. Thank you for giving both of those things to Bruce.

Father, we just want to pray today for Keith, I mean, pardon me, Will. Will, Keelmike 5 Foxtrot. Lord, he's going to have to have some hormone therapy and some radiation for his prostate cancer.

Lord, that's going to be a difficult walk. Lord, I just pray that you give him peace in his body. and peace in his heart, Lord, as he faces all the tumultuous things that happen when hormones that are supposed to be there are removed for medical reasons.

And, Lord, I just pray that you give him grace to be able to get through that with humility, with peace, and with joy. Lord, use these treatments, Father, to bring this cancer into complete remission and removal. Lord, just have mercy on our brother Will, KM5F, and Lord, give victory over this emissary of Satan.

that has come this thorn in the flesh father deliver him from it Lord we just want to pray today for ed in six XO H his brother-in-law head is having a heart ovation today Lord I pray that that would go exceptionally well that his heart arrhythmia would be resolved And, Lord, I pray that he would come out of there with a steady heartbeat, Father, and with lots of strength. Lord, I pray that they would be able to sell their hope. And, Lord, that you would provide for them to be able to move as they desire.

Lord, we continue to pray for our sister Carol, KK7TPO, for the healing of her lower back pain. Father, she's making some progress, but she's not out of the woods. So, Lord, we just pray for her and that you would heal her.

Father, we think also of Eldon, KF7, FIA, and his back pain. Father, and then we think of Jerry, KG6J, and his back pain. Father, these people all suffer.

And, Lord, I pray that you would relieve that suffering and have mercy on each of them. Lord, we just pray for Carol's son, Chris. that he would be able to have his back surgery July 30th, that it would be successful, and that you would keep the diabetes under control so that surgery can go forward.

Father, we just thank you for our brother Tom, WW17, who checked in this morning and made some great comments. Lord, Tom needs real comfort. He lost his wife a few months ago.

Lord, surround him with your peace and your presence and your encouragement. And then, Lord, he's had major spinal surgery. He's in a wheelchair.

Lord, I just pray that you would heal him and raise him up and enable him to walk once again. And, Lord, in the meantime, meet his need and provide all the assistance he needs to get around and to get through his daily activities. Lord, we continue to pray for our brother Beck, Alfalfa 5 Yankees.

We pray for continued healing of his head, for the resolution of his double vision. And Lord, I just pray that as time goes on, you would just restore him back to all the health he had before his accident. Father, we think of our neighbor Nancy.

And Lord, I just pray that if that comes to Andy, we would be able to reach out to her. bring her to saving faith in Jesus and Lord we understand she has terminal cancer and Lord if you're pleased you can heal her of that and we ask that you would do it but if not Lord use this end of life event to cause her to think about life after death and to turn from a sin and self-centeredness to Christ and be saved. Father, we continue to pray for our brother George, KGX, and for the healing of his shoulder.

Lord, give him freedom of mobility there. Father, continue to pray for my pastor, Pastor Jeff Black, who has this severe ulcerative colitis. Father, I just ask that you would be pleased to heal him quickly.

The Lord's gone a long time. Have mercy on him, I pray. Lord, we continue to pray for Cody KS7TRF.

Thank you that his mom's broken arm and it's healed well. physical therapy now Lord may she regain full mobility of that arm Lord we pray that the chemo and radiation being given to his father Roger for his colon cancer would be effective at straining and removing that cancer and then father's uncle Doug who had a traumatic accident lost his right eye they're reconstructing his face that's all going well the Lord mentally he is still in a state of panic. And Lord, I pray that you bring peace to his brain.

Lord, whatever this PTSD is that he's suffering from as a result of this accident, Lord, recover him from that. And Lord, I pray that he would be able to recognize that he's no longer in the accident, he's no longer in pain, and that he's able to be delivered. Lord, so we pray for his mental health.

And, Lord, for him to realize that his past is over and that he can have peace now. Father, we continue to pray for Keith, WB7RKR, so that he would be able to trust God with the difficult circumstances he's in, help him to make godly decisions regarding those circumstances. Lord, I pray that he had both wisdom and patience in managing Ronnie.

Lord, I pray that there would be peace there and that Ronnie would be calm and peaceful. Just pray for peace to help me, Father, for his heart, for balance, and his strength. Lord, look on that family and give them grace and peace and mercy.

Father, we continue to pray for Kevin, Kevin's daughter, Montan Rayo, who's still waiting for golf during surgery. Lord, I pray for freedom from pain for her until she's able to get that surgery. Father, we just continue to pray for Tisha.

Thank you that her numbers are moving in the right direction. But, Lord, she still needs that liver transplant. Thank you that the liver is doing as well as it is until she gets that.

Lord, we do pray for her salvation. We continue to pray for Sue and her recovery from brain surgery. Lord, we ask that...

she would regain her full mental capacity as time goes on. Father, we pray for Gwen, KJ7UMW. Lord, last we heard, he had broken his neck.

He was in a neck collar, healing up. Lord, I pray that that healing would go perfectly well and that he would know no neck pain or limitations on his mobility. We pray for his wife, Vicki.

and her chronic pain and her need for a hernia surgery. So, Lord, just be with Glenn, KJ7UMW, and his wife, Vicki. Lord, I pray that they'd be able to check in again and we'd get an update on their circumstance.

Father, we continue to pray for Ed in 6XLH's niece Ruth and her husband Thomas. And, Lord, that they would have wisdom in meeting the health needs of their three children, Macy, Mika, and McCade. Lord, Ruth needs wisdom and strength in caring for her children.

Let's continue to provide employment for Thomas. Lord, may that family pull together. Father, may they know your blessing.

Lord we continue to pray for a JRW6LBT his friend Gary a W6GLB who has stage 4 cancer last we heard he's receiving immunotherapy experiencing good improvement continue to pray for Gary father that he would be completely free from that cancer. Lord, we pray for Mike, W7CW, and his sister Barbara, who needs salvation. Lord, I pray that you would work in Barbara's heart.

Lord, she has some sort of a profession of faith, but Lord, the fruit is not there. And Lord, I just pray that you would convict her and convert her to saving faith in Jesus. Lord, we continue to pray for Mike.

and his healing from his polio and his arthritis in his shoulder and his hands. Lord, just have mercy on our dear brother and give him physical strength and health so he can get all the work done he needs to get done before winter shows up there where he lives. Now, Lord, we just want to thank you for your goodness, mercy, and grace to each one of us.

Thank you for the gift of your son, Jesus Christ. Father, we do pray in his name. and trust in his provision for our salvation.

That was great. So I had a function originally before we started today, and then you highlighted beautifully the triumphal entry, too. And then Mark highlights the art brought in.

So it was very rich, and I love how you homiletically brought it that Jesus needs a triumphal entry into each of our lives. Yeah, thank you so much. Appreciate that.

Yeah, real good, Roger. Yeah, we actually have five triumphal entries there, don't we? So we have the ark going up to Jerusalem, number one, Number 2, the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on the week before He was to be crucified.

And then number 3, we have the triumphal entry of Jesus into heaven at His ascension. Number 4, we have the triumphal entry of Jesus when He returns. And number five, we have the triumphal entry of Jesus into our hearts when we become saved.

So, yes, that is a rich, rich metaphor with lots of references. You could build a five-point sermon out of that, Roger. Put something like that together and give it to your people, over.

Boy, that sounds wonderful, doesn't it? Thank you. I'm trying to put together something this weekend, so maybe the Lord gave it to me.
