How are you doing? Well, had a good experience on this special birthday. Certainly was entertained by the neighborhood fireworks, over.

Well, it's a remarkable thing that a nation would last 250 years under the same form of governance. You know, when you look at the history of the world, most nations might last, you know, 70, 80, 100 years. But that's about it.
Some last longer, but, you know, they change their form of governance. from one thing to another. You know, like the French had their revolution and then you know, they've been around for a long time but they keep changing governments.
America hasn't changed government and that's the point that I was trying to make there. So, quite remarkable. In a testimony to the wisdom of our founding fathers that they were able to devise a form of government that was sustainable, that was durable, and that was able to continue to be suitable for a nation that has lasted this long.
So, Roger, thank you for being there. I appreciate that. Roger, if you could read Scripture for us today, we're in Psalm 14.
We'd appreciate that. Over. Roger, I would just thank you for that revelation again and passing it on to us and to just pause to think about 250 years ago with that Constitution and the resilience that God has given through that.
And people like Roger Williams have said, you know, I think there's room for others that when I have a liberty of conscience, in other words, was respected by Roger Williams. So anyway, he's one of our heroes for the fact that this country lasted so long, don't we? That is absolutely for sure.
Without religious liberty, you can't have people living together in peace and harmony. And that's one of the whole problems with Islam, is that they do not allow religious liberty in their countries. and so we are unique in the world in that respect and that's the reason why we cannot tolerate religions that do not tolerate other religions so we're willing to give religious liberty to Buddhists and to Hindus and Even to atheists.
And we have this understanding that we'll allow you to practice your religion and freedom of conscience and liberty. You allow us to practice ours, and we'll get along. But Islam does not do that at all.
And therefore, it's intolerable to give religious liberty to a religion that gives other religions no religious liberty. So that's a problem on our horizon that we're going to have to deal with sooner rather than later, hopefully. All right, Roger, real good.

Our most gracious and loving Father, we do thank you for this day, this day that we have set aside to look into your word, to worship, to gather together and assemble, Lord, in fellowship and to recognize the your grace, your love, and your mercy toward us. Father, we pray that as we look into your words, that it will settle in our heart and, Lord, move us to action in our lives. Father, there's so many prayer requests that we lift up each and every day.
And David points out that his name fits his character and that he is a fool, someone that feels that their heart, there's no accountability to a creator. They just live as they feel, like the old bumper sticker. If it feels good, good, and they have no real moral compass, or if they do, it's one that they've created in their own mind, not one that they recognize that God is the creator.
KB7, is that acceptable? and a condition of depravity, a condition of inability, a condition of helplessness. And unless God has mercy on them, they will continue to plunge in the same reckless direction they have ever gone in and are programmed to be in by birth because of inheriting Adam's fallen nature.
where David prescribes offices, the charge, God's charge to Solomon, and the building of the temple building, the elaborate one, the one on the Mount, Mount Moriah. Verse 19 says, Now set your heart and your soul to seek the Lord your God. "Arise and build the sanctuary of the Lord God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the holy vessels of God into the house that is to be built for the name of the Lord." this connection with the psalm, with this passage where it mentions Mount Zion at the end of the psalm, over?
Yeah, it sure does. And, you know, God is speaking to his people there, and he's saying to his people that he has saved to seek the Lord. and he's provided them with the means of redemption, which is symbolized by the Ark of the Temple and all the sacrifices that are there.
And, you know, elsewhere the Bible says, Seek the Lord while he may be found. Call upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him turn unto God.
But praise the Lord, he's done that. You know, this psalm is very dreary and dark when it describes the condition of fallen man. But then there's this encouragement that there is, in verse 5, a generation of the righteous.
And then in verse 7, the salvation of Israel is going to come out of Zion. and delivers people from the captivity of their depravity and bring them into the light of the gospel. Roger, thank you for that comment there in 1 Chronicles 22, 19.
I appreciate that. All right, other comments, please, from them. All right.
Well, I'd just like to comment on a couple more things here. This is the reason why you get so much rejection when you go out to witness and share the gospel. Who are you talking to?
Well, you're talking to people who say there is no God, or you're talking to people who acknowledge that there's a God, but they have no interest whatever in listening to him and following him, and their whole lives are characterized by saying no to God. And so they love their abominable work. They have no interest in doing good work that would be glorifying to God.
They don't understand. They don't seek after God. It's extremely difficult to work with, and you just kind of give up, because by beating on granite, all you do is dull your pickaxe, and you don't make any progress.
And the granite harks, When you share the gospel and you get this indifferent, hostile, hard-hearted response, that's the norm because that's who you're dealing with. And unless God works in the heart and softens the heart and opens the heart... You know, this is the response you're going to get.
But praise the Lord, He does that. And so that's what we're looking for as we share the Gospel. And it's all that rejection.
We're looking for those folks who are the good ground soil and who will receive the Word and bring forth fruit. I mean, it happened to you, right? Because God worked in your heart.
K2KJX, go ahead. All right, we had a double there. First we'll go with George, K2KJX, and then we'll grab Eric.
George, K2KJX, go ahead. Very encouraging to me. I try to look for opportunities in the Gulf Coast where we do get some and they're bringing out some things that we can have.
uh and knowing that God is blessing all of us as we muster those opportunities just to place the subject and help us through the things that we can do. Yeah, you know, in such were we at one time. You know, Paul says, and such were some of you, but now you're washed, now you're justified, now you're sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And it's good to know that there's always hope for the salvation of the most hardened sinner. We just have to be faithful in sharing the gospel and not get discouraged. A great comment there.

I was just, when I was listening to you and you were talking about casting the seed, and I can't recall exactly where it is, but I think the prophet Paul said that some plants, some water, but the Lord or God gives the injury, and so my thought is that, you know, I want to see those opportunities to share long debate or argument And so it's kind of like going out in the graveyard, right? And here you are sharing the gospel in a graveyard looking for divine power to raise someone from the dead so that they can hear, believe, and embrace the gospel. So you're right.
We shouldn't be offended. it describes in quotes from 14 and Bert was saying that that was who he was in his previous life when he was in rebellion and defiance against God and you know all of us can look back unless you were saved as a young child and remember what the darkness was like and what the depravity was like and what the rebellion and the darkness was like. And, you know, to know that that's what you've been saved from should just fill us with gratitude and with humility and with thankfulness and with worship.
and with a desire to bring glory to God and bring that same salvation to others. And so, Bert, thank you for bringing out the connection between Psalm 14 and Romans 3 and also just praising God. for what he did in your life in delivering you out of this depravity and into the kingdom of light and into being a child of God.

Please come down. I want to comment a little bit on Psalm 14:7. You know, there's a real bright light at the end of this psalm.
But notice what God does, verse 5, there were they in great fear. In other words, there's going to come a day where those who arrogantly and belligerently persecute the people of God, that they're going to realize that they were on the wrong side of the fence. And then they're going to be in great fear.
We see that fear in the sixth seal in Revelation chapter 6 when it's opened up and they cry to the rocks and the mountains to follow them and hide them from the face of the Lamb. They've been persecuting the people of God, the first four horsemen of the apocalypse, and then the martyrdom of the saints and the fifth seal. Are there any final prayer requests?
