Could someone fill me in on the UCAN Max on how Beck is doing? I haven't heard anything from him for a while now. Yeah, copy that.

Beck is doing well. He went to the Riverbend Hospital again, which is where he's at right now. Had an infection and antibiotics took care of that, so his fever is gone.

And he also had a surgical procedure on a hematoma behind his ear that got drained. So that's going well. So he is on the mend.

He's probably going to see an ENT, ear, nose, and throat doctor today. and he'll probably be in River Bend for a day or two, but he's doing well. And this little setback turned out to be a bump in the road, and they've gotten over it and past it, and he's doing really well.

In fact, Beck, Alpha Alpha 5 Yankee, and Sandy WS7 SAB are on the radio today Beck, of course, is listening on his phone via the SDR, and Sandy is with us on the microphone. So, Bert, things are going well for Beck and Sandy. Over.

We're in Psalm 12 today, so I'll be talking about that in a minute. But before we get started, George, K2KJ, could you please open a prayer for us today? Please pray with me.

Our Heavenly Father, thank you that your loving kindness never ceases and your compassion, sort of, never fails. They're new every morning, and we are so, so grateful for your faithfulness. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for paying our sin debts.

fill us with your spirit, Lord, and I just pray that you bless those who are attending today's West Coast Bible study. In your name, Lord Jesus, amen. Amen.

All right, we are going to get started. We're in Psalm 12. very interesting psalm and one that really applies to our situation.

David's looking out at his society and he's saying there doesn't seem to hardly be any godly people in society at all. And then he says In addition to that, the language and speech of society has become incredibly degraded. People speak vanity, people speak flattery, people speak deceitfully.

And the public discourse and the social discourse is just really corrupt. And so he's lamenting over this. And, you know, when we look at our society, there's hardly any Christians out there There's constant lies, there's constant blasphemy, there's constant vanity and emptiness being spoken of.

And we think to ourselves, where's our nation headed? And you know, that's really a relevant question given the fact that tomorrow is our 250th anniversary. And it causes us to look back with some gratitude at what God made, but it also causes us to look forward with some trepidation.

Where are we going to go if we keep going on this same course of action? So what David does here is he cries out to God, and he says, God, you... "Fix this problem, please!" Knowing that you can change hearts and thus change language.

You know, the Bible says, "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks," right? And so when he looks at the speech of society, he realizes the heart of society is corrupt. But in contrast to the terrible words that are spoken in the social discourse of society, are the pure words of God.

And so he talks in verse 6 about the words of the Lord are pure words. So, you know, it's really important for us to just turn away from the noise of society and all the lies and the deceit and just read the scriptures and have our minds cleansed know that we're getting the truth, and know that these words are going to build us up and not tear us down like so much of the social discourse of our society does. So that's a little bit of background on our psalm.

don't know when it was spoken but we know that it's characteristic of the times in which we live for sure all right having given that little introduction Jeff a case it's okay if you could read for us on 12 appreciate that good I will do that good morning everybody starting in verse 1 help Oh Lord for the godly are fast disappearing The faithful have vanished from the earth. By the way, I'm in the NLT this morning. Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts.

May the Lord cut off their flattering lips and silence their boastful tongues. They say we will lie to our heart's content. Our lips are our own.

Who can stop us? The Lord replies, I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up and rescue them.

And as they have longed for me to do, the Lord's promises are pure like silver refined in a furnace. purified seven times over. Therefore, Lord, we know you will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this blind generation, even though the wicked strut about and evil is praised throughout the land.

Well, for our anniversary, as I mentioned earlier, we helped the economy of Colville. Got acquainted with the owner the next morning of the Colville Motel, or the Colville Inn. And in that process, there was a huge TV in the room.

And I just went through the channels because I don't have access to that. I don't know the channels that's coming in and Boy, does this all describe the gyalon, the social discourse, as you so beautifully put it, Max, in the use of your tongue. To contrast, what I was used to being with and what I was seeing, what's available, what the diet is, it was just quite a contrast in this song.

It really describes it, Owen. Yes, it does, Roger. Well said.

Yeah, you know, some have likened a TV to an open sewer pipe that's just dumping vanity and filth and... foolishness into the living rooms of American homes. And I don't even bother to turn on the TV ever when I go in a motel.

It's just defiling, and it's disgusting, and it's degrading. And, you know, it's just the rabble and chatter of the world. You know, it says in Psalm 1 that we looked at not too long ago, you know, blessed is the man who walks not in the count of the ungodly or stands in the way of sinners or sits in the seat of the scornful.

And, you know, when you're around that stuff and listening to that stuff, you've got to have a giant filter around. to filter out 90% of what you see and hear because, you know, it's the voice of the world. It's the voice of the ungodly.

So, Roger, thank you for that illustration. And yes, I understand the dismay. and it's wonderful that in the place of that idle, vain, and defiling chatter, we have the Word of God.

And, you know, just to sit in the chair, turn everything off, and open the Bible, and just read and read and read. When you're all done... you feel clean you feel revived you feel strengthened you feel oriented jesus said in john 15 and verse 3 now are you clean through the word which i have spoken to you and um And you know, when you turn on the television, you have to say, "Now are you defiled through the garbage that I have dumped on you?" So, Roger, thank you for that illustration.

Go ahead. Thank you. Thank you.

KB7 is at extent, boy, that is a very apropos example of the speech that is around us here. You know, it's interesting. This kind of follows the line of 10 and 11 in the sense that chapter 10 talks about undermining the foundations of faith.

And then 11... speech too, you know, trying to ambush them, the faithful at night. But here we see the blasphemy and the misuse of eloquent speech.

And this is so much all around us, how eloquent you know, God intended, gave us the, the beauty of language and the opportunity of speech to, to honor, glorify him, to share with one another, um, you know, what's in our heart. And, um, BUT YET WE SEE IN PERIODS OF TIME AND WELL THROUGHOUT HISTORY HOW MAN PERVERTS THAT AND REALLY IS BLASPHEMOUS AGAINST GOD, BUT REALLY ATTACKING AND UNDERMINDING WHAT IS GOOD OF GOD AND PERVERTING IT. AS THE TV DEPICTS, AS YOU POINTED OUT SO OFTEN, IS THE PERVERSION of speech.

And here we see where David is speaking in the sense of, you know, all the good and faithful, those that are speaking truth have left. Well, we know they haven't. God always keeps a remnant.

And we see that, you know, in 1 Kings 19.10 where Elijah says, There's only one left. Well, God says, No, no, there's 7,000 I've set aside. Well, but sometimes it feels like that when we're surrounded with all this speech, but we know it is deception.

We know it is—I think that the open sewer pipe is a good example. And some of the most condemning—the speech condemned the most from Jesus himself— was this type of speech. In one hand, he says in Luke 6, 46, why do you call me Lord, Lord, and not do what I say?

In Matthew 15, 8, he talks about... You know, that's my train of thought. But...

the speech that you know you you flatter me with your lips but your heart is far away from me where he's quoting Isaiah 29:13 so we see some of the strongest condemnation that Jesus has is against flattering speech where there is no heart there. It is only for the perceptive purposes. The people that speak this eloquent speech have their own agendas, but yet it is perpetuating deceptive and deceptive evil.

And so we need to be mindful of that. Again, it comes back to God knows our hearts let us be true to that. He always will keep his remnant all the way through the ages, as we see through Romans 11, 25 through 30 in Revelation, that his remnant is always there and salvation awaits.

KB7, is that acceptable? Yeah, Kevin, thank you for those scripture passages and perspectives. You're exactly right.

And, you know, I think one of the things we need to do is speak up, right? Because, you know, it says in verse 1 here, Help, Lord, for the godly man ceases. for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

And as you said, he's looking around, and he doesn't see any godly people. And, Kevin, you brought out the fact that, yes, God always has his 7,000. And, you know, he does.

And I find that if I speak up in public around people for God and his word, It's amazing that some of those silent people that weren't speaking are emboldened then to speak. And you find out, "Oh, there is a couple of believers here." Well, praise the Lord, right? But somebody has to go first.

Somebody has to have the boldness to just say something like, "Well, praise the Lord," you know, that such and such, you know, came to pass or whatever. or, you know, thank the Lord for the way that thing turned out. And just acknowledging the Lord.

You know, it says in Colossians, let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man. So just like you sprinkle a little salt on all your food, You know, we sprinkle a little bit of the Word of God in all of our speech. And from time to time, you know, there's that expression of God or His Word or a Bible verse or an act of praise or thanksgiving.

We sprinkle our speech with those things. And, you know, the Davids out there that think there aren't any other Christians will be encouraged to hear a Christian speak up. And so you can be that person.

you can just say something that will let the people in the room know there's a believer here and lo and behold you'll find there's other believers that are bold enough to speak up because you do Kevin, thank you for reminding us of the 7,000 God always has his people scattered around alright, any other comments please come now A follow-up. A follow-up. Go ahead.

Just quickly, speaking of speech and introducing the Word of God, I don't know how many are aware, but Texas just passed legislation to reintroduce the Word of God. Well, I don't know if it's legislation, but through, I think, their school district, they the introduced the Word of God the Bible back into the curriculum public school system and in a meaningful way and you can look at it there's several components to that but what a precedent and an opportunity I think for other states to take advantage of that momentum and that desire from the godly out there that want to see the word of God held up. KB7, is that exact?

Yeah, Kevin. Praise the Lord for the Texas school board doing that. You know, I'm old enough to remember when I went to public school, we had the Ten Commandments posted on the wall, and the teacher would put up a daily Bible verse on the chalkboard and he played a little game with us he would put the verse up and then he would give five points extra credit to whoever could find the reference and of course I wasn't raised reading the Bible so I didn't have a clue what the references were but there were some kids who went to the local community church for quite well versed in the scriptures and they were forever coming up with a reference.

You know, they'd figure out where it was and get a little bit of extra credit. So those were the good old days. And, you know, since they've thrown the Bible out of school, you know, the character of the nation...

has gone downhill and the criminal conduct has gone way up. And I think what's happening, Kevin, is people are realizing it was not smart to think that we could get by without the scriptures as instruction in the lives of our young people. Because without a moral foundation and a fear of God, the behavior just spirals into chaos and anarchy very quickly.

So, yeah, the people that abandon the scriptures wind up destroying themselves. And, you know, verse 6, The words of the Lord are pure words, and silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever So the Bible's always there, we just gotta turn to it, read it, follow it Encourage others to do so And that's the first step toward rebuilding society From being ungodly to being godly Alright, other comments, please come now AK6OK AK6OK, Jeff, go ahead You know what this brings to mind is you're absolutely right about the schools.

As kids, we used to have tremendous respect for our parents and for everybody else's parents. And on my street, all the men on the street had an agreement with each other. If any of our kids get out of line, you discipline them.

My dad said, I don't care what guy you are. You've got a problem with my kid. You pedal his butt.

You send him home, and then I'll do it again. And we look today, and we've got these kids on their $1,000 e-bikes that mommy and daddy bought them. doing wheelies and running into the side of people and there's people been killed by these kids, which is a huge issue around our area now and just just absolute disregard for for everybody they don't give a rip and this is the result of that type of a problem taking guys out of schools and and taking God out of kids, over.

- Yeah, well said, Jeff, and that's exactly, exactly the problem. And I had the same situation there where I was raised on the block in San Bernardino. Every parent looked out for all the other parents' kids, they all talked to each other, and yeah, you couldn't get away with anything.

I don't care how far away from home you were. The news traveled back. So those were good days where people were on the same page with how children should behave, and that was that they should honor their father and mother, they shouldn't lie, they shouldn't steal, they shouldn't blaspheme.

So yeah, we didn't get away with that stuff at all. And then my parents moved me up into the woods when I was eight years old and didn't even have any neighbors. So I couldn't get in trouble with the neighbors, so that was then...

all fishing and hunting and building forts and camping and gold mining. And it was a great childhood. I'm thankful for that.

Okay. Any other comments on our passage? Please come down.

That makes sense. I think I heard that accent. Kevin, go ahead.

Well, just to comment about the kids, you know, and point well taken, too. But be cautious. I remember reading...

an article I think written by Mark Twain and Samuel Clemens one time and talked about the kids of this generation and then it sounded like they were talking about the kids of today. And we've got several children in our neighborhood here And we've got one guy that occasionally, one probably 12 year old, twice now since we've lived here however long. But, you know, likes to go around the ring doorbells and run, you know, we know who it is.

But then the other day, well, two days ago, I was out on my front step. and this is probably an 11 or 12 year old boy walking down the sidewalk front and he looks over at me he's got an arm full of toys and he says hey I'm gonna take all my these toys that I don't use anymore I'm gonna take them to the playground and donate them to the kids down there and I thought well that is really cool and he says yeah and I'm all ready for the fourth but he was just a very tender hearted kid and you could tell He had parents that had taught him giving and grace. And anyway, so it was so refreshing to see, you know.

And then as he goes, I said, have a good day. It was just refreshing of the heart. TB7 is that example.

Yeah, Kevin, thanks for relaying that. Yep, there's some good kids out there, some good parents. It's not all darkness.

And as you said earlier, there's certainly the 7,000 out there, and it's always refreshing to see a respectful child, a thoughtful child, and a child that's being generous with others. I want to talk a little bit about here in verse 4. In verse 4, it says, the wicked are saying, with our tongue will we prevail, our lips are our own.

Who is Lord over us? And so they have this attitude that they get to say whatever they want to say, and there's going to be no accountability for it. The Bible tells us that men shall give account in a day of judgment for every idle word that they speak.

And so the idea that we can say whatever we want with no accountability is simply not true. God is sitting in the heavens. God listens.

Notice Psalm 11, the one we looked at yesterday, Psalm 11 and verse 4. Psalm 11, verse 4, it says, The Lord is in His holy temple. The Lord's throne is in heaven.

His eyelids, behold, His eyelids try the children of men. when you have in chapter 12 or Psalm 12 and verse 4 people saying, who is Lord over us? Well, the question is, is God his Lord over you?

And you're not getting away with the things that you're saying. So, you know, that's why the Bible says, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak. And it's important for us to weigh our words before we speak them.

And I always think to myself, What would Jesus think of what I just said? And if he's not going to approve it, then I better not say it. And the Bible says in a multitude of words, there is no lack of sin, but he who refrains his lips is wise.

So let's think about what we're saying. Let's evaluate what we're saying in light of the fact that God is listening and use words that will sound well in our ears on the day of judgment and that will be commended instead of condemned. All right, other comments?

Yeah, I really resonate with this verse 4. The freedom of speech comes with a price. And the true freedom and the liberty that comes with the First Amendment is only lasting if it's tempered by the Spirit of God.

And it's in this age of, you know, on the dawning of the 250th, anniversary tomorrow, officially. I'm a subscriber to Liberty Magazine, and it's amazing how many of our forefathers that founded this country knew that. They knew that democracy as it's set up in the Constitution.

and the first amendment and the freedom of speech, etc. could only really be truly lasting liberty unless they were dedicated and humbled by the Spirit of God recognizing the Creator. may not be Jesus, the forefathers were pushing it in the side of the planet, that's why Liberty issues and Liberty magazine articles, but they recognized that they were creatures under a creator of some gigantic substance for sure.

Yeah, for sure. I mean, our Constitution was written in a Christian context, a Christian worldview, a culture. And as one of the founding fathers says, it's suitable for a religious and a moral people.

And so freedom of speech can only exist in a context where there's responsibility about that speech. And so... You know, the Bible talks about guarding our words, and it also talks about the problems that come when people slander.

Steve, go ahead. Yeah, good comments all around. And this issue of freedom of speech and whatnot, I think we have to just commit ourselves to understanding that we're not going to say the right things all the time.

And I think that's oftentimes we don't take time to think very carefully before we open up our mouth and what's going on in our hearts where it's coming from and I'm just reminded of Jesus' words in the Psalms I believe So it was probably there. But these words, may the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to God. And that takes some time because we're so impacted.

and we tend to imitate, you know, after a while what's going on around us and we get off from the fact that we're going to be held responsible for what we say. So we need to think before we say, you know, just start babbling. W-6-Y-S-I.

Yeah, Steve, real good. You are so right. That passage Steve quoted, Psalm 19 and verse 14, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart The exceptional on thy side, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.

Steve, that's a great passage. Thank you for bringing that up. And that's something we should pray every day at the beginning of the day.

Lord, help me to guard my lips and speak words that are pleasing to you. There's also a parallel passage, Steve, in Ephesians 4, that says, let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to thee is the edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearers. And so, you know, Jesus says, by your word, you shall be justified, and by your word, you shall be condemned, because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

And so what we say really reveals whether we have a regenerate heart or whether we don't. There are a couple of other passages that are encouraging. Psalm 31:18 says, "Let the lying lips be put to silence, which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous." So there David is praying the same thing he's praying here.

And that is, God, stop the mouth of the wicked. Psalm 63 and verse 11, Psalm 63, 11 says, The mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. And so the Bible talks a lot about speech and regulating speech and restraining evil speech of ourselves.

and then asking God to restrain the evil speech of others. And he has his ways of closing people's mouths, that's for sure, or exposing their lies, and silencing them in that fashion. So, when the wicked walk on every side, it says in verse 8, the vilest men are exalted.

And you know, it's so true that the more evil speech there is, the more emboldened the wicked are to speak even more evil. And so, we have a war of words going on. And you know, Jesus is the Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And so, we need to use our words to do spiritual warfare. What is the sword of the Spirit?

It's the Word of God. And so let's wield words as weapons for the kingdom and in the cause of Jesus and use our words to do spiritual warfare and to silence the wicked under the blessing of God by exposing the lies. and by setting forth the truth and bringing fear of God before their eyes.

Kevin, go ahead please. Okay, it can be 7 Zucks and I wasn't sure I -- I'm hearing just through the SDR, excellent comments and couldn't agree more and thank you for that, Steve. And then we see the contrast of that, which you're -- you know, you said so well there, Steve.

and in the text says that our tongues are our own, our tongues will prevail, our lips our own. Who's Lord over us? Well, you know, this is the attitude of, like you say, we don't want to be accountable to a God.

We don't want to be accountable. We are only accountable to ourselves. And unfortunately, I think this is a...

heresy that has crept into Christendom in a very destructive way, and that is the focus of really self-help or personal development, if you will. And that's a misnomer. You think, "Well, who would be against personal development?

Who would be against self-help?" Well, the Nothing if your focus is on God. If you're like David here, seeking to speak right before God, if that is your heart, that's the self-help we need. But it's by recognizing God as the Almighty and who he is.

But the self-help we see in our culture is all about self. IT'S ALL ABOUT OURSELVES. AND WE CAN SEE, ESPECIALLY ON TV, BUT UNFORTUNATELY, I THINK IN CHURCH HOUSES, I'VE HEARD SOMETIMES THOSE IN THE PULPIT GOING ON AND ON ABOUT SOME FORMULAIC PRESENTATION OF HOW TO HAVE A BETTER LIFE, AND YET RARELY, IF EVER, MENTIONING JESUS CHRIST, RARELY, IF EVER, MENTIONING SIN.

rarely, if ever, mentioning the grace of God and that, you know, the truth. And instead, it's all about the eloquent words, the focus on self, who we have to answer to but ourselves. The focus is on the goal of temporal acquisition of wealth, or even our relationships on a temporal level, but yet the true spiritual component, the relationship with God, is totally absent.

So be very careful of eloquent speech, and that's why it's so important. And as you pointed out, verse 6, that we have the Word of God. We need to embrace it as we do today.

What a wonderful opportunity do we have to start and fellowship together in the Word of God in this net that we can look in and see God meditate on His Word. and get proper understanding from it. So, yes, there's the contrast.

Yeah, you know, eloquent speech devoid of the message of repentance of sin and faith in Jesus is just vain jangling. You know, it talks in 1 Corinthians 13 about... if I'm eloquent in my speech and don't have love, you know, it accomplishes nothing.

Well, if I'm eloquent in my speech and I don't preach the gospel and I don't represent the word of God and I don't ever talk about Jesus and him being a savior from sin, That's also vain jangling. Kevin, thank you for bringing that point up. All right.

You know, I just want to close our net this morning on the fact that in verse 5, it says, For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord. I will set him in safety from him that puffs at him. So we've all been slandered.

You know, we all have been spoken of in ways that are degrading to our reputation. But the good news is that God hears and sees that, and we can just let him deal with it. There's, of course, a time to answer it.

slanders, but most of the time just commit it to the Lord. Let Him take care of it. He will.

And move on with your life and continue to speak good words even if those around you are speaking bad words. And the good words are the words of the Lord. Verse 6, the words of the Lord are pure words.

Good. So you can never go wrong speaking the Word of God. If you wonder what to say in a situation, well, bring up a Bible verse and talk about that.

And I'm sorry it takes so much time today, but on my heart really this morning is the silent multitude, but a specific segment of that, and that's our veterans. also those that are serving today, that they would take the time to grab a Bible, maybe one that Jeff even had a hand in distributing, but also those that are not serving actively now. But there are so many.

that are in discouragement and despair and seeking hope. And I just pray for those veterans that have played such an integral part of maintaining our freedom, for serving for the right reasons for you and I. and just pray for all that they would know the Lord, they would turn to God, that they would find someone to fellowship with that can guide them to Christ or restore a relationship there.

So that portion of the silent multitude, I ask for prayers for today. KB7, Zedek Sin. All right, real good, Kevin.

Kevin is asking prayer for the silent multitude that listened to West Coast Bible Study, but especially the veterans that are out there who have served and who need the grace of God and the strength of God to cope with some of the issues they struggle with in particular. and also that God would just cause us to pick up Bibles, read them and draw near to the Lord Alright, any other prayer requests, please come down Roger, please go ahead Yeah, Kevin reminded me that our church family at Tushy is praying for Michael, who is a valiant warrior for sure in Vietnam. And yet he just has a few weeks to live by human standards.

and We're praying for his salvation and his acknowledgement of Jesus. We had him share his history at the last service. He's just seen so much.

violence and so much you know rough times as a veteran and Kevin's comment really spurred the memory of Michael's testimony last Sabbath. I appreciate your prayers for Michael and representing many many that Kevin was speaking to thank you Kevin for bringing that up. WD-70ZL.

Our kind and gracious Father, we thank you for this psalm that we just read today, Psalm 12. I thank you for the encouragement that it provided. Our Lord, we are surrounded by a society that is corrupt in its speech.

corrupt in its entertainment, corrupt in terms of the lies that take place in the political discourse. Hey, Lord, at times we just feel overwhelmed by a flood of lies and corruption. Lord, help us to just turn off all those voices.

Open our Bibles and read your clean words, your pure words, your elevating and edifying words. Father, we thank you that the word of God is living and is powerful. And it does bring healing to the mind and to the soul, to the thoughts, to the emotions.

And so, Father, may we listen more to your words and less to the words of the world. May we not walk in the counsel of the ungodly and the scorners. May we instead, Father, meditate in the scriptures day and night.

Father, we just thank you that we have... a copy of your word. Help this father to pick it up and to read it.

Lord, we just pray that you would expose and defeat the slanders that are brought against us individually and corporately as Christians. And Lord, we pray... that you would be pleased to vindicate your truth in the face of the lies that pervade and saturate this land.

Father, we want to pray today for Michael. Roger WB7BZL brought up this veteran, a Vietnam veteran, Father, an old man who doesn't have much longer to live. apparently he has some sort of a terminal disease.

Lord, I pray that like the thief on the cross, you would work in his heart these last hours of his life. And Father, that you would be pleased to save him. And Father, it sounds like he's been exposed and Christians, I pray, Lord, that he would hear their voice, that he would repent of his sins, and that he would trust in Jesus as his Savior and know redemption, forgiveness, and reconciliation with you.

Father, give Roger and others who have contact with Michael wisdom. an opportunity to speak a word and season to Michael. And Father, we pray as Kevin asked us to, for the silent multitude, Father, who are out there listening to the West Coast Bible Study, and especially the veterans that are among them, Father, many of them have great trauma in their lives as a result of what they experienced.

Lord, I pray that you would heal them. one of the guys who did that. And we were there for 40 years, and we've seen so many animals, particularly crocodiles and nickels together all the morning here on the field there.

So anyway, we had an amazing experience driving through that incredible creation out there. The weather was wonderful. And then we...

We went to a town where we were going to be working with the gun school. We had an amazing reception of people there. They had several schools meet together on the Sabbath to celebrate what God had done there.

breaking the ceremony um and in four days time they had the foundation all for the pillars guide and the cement and rebar poured for the pillars for the building and they're waiting for us to send the next allotment of so they can continue the project. And then we ended up with a huge rally the last several days, and we had 2,000 students, university, high school students that we were able to speak to and have a back-to-the-masterwork. It was just amazing for us, too.

We were kind of a novelty, I think, for them because they hadn't seen white people, particularly old white women, speaking. And anyway, we were very well appreciated and it was just a wonderful time for us. And we so thank you for your prayers.

You got to see some of God's creation, and you also got to see God's new creation in conversions and salvation. There's some baptisms there. That's wonderful.

And the youth rally, 2,000 students. That's incredible. Glad you're getting the building built.

And Kandi, it was an honor to pray for you and Mae and to participate in the work of the throne of grace. And we're just grateful for your willingness to travel. I know that's not an easy thing to do, to travel halfway around the world, to be able to minister for the word of the Lord.

work God is so merciful when it comes to sharing the Word of God and I love that text this morning a Roman excuse me revelation 5:13 that you highlighted and yes every creature was praising this morning at the ranch as I was coming down Candy it was so beautiful to hear the birds waking up each other and giving us courage to pray thank you Max for the study thank you for your prayers for autumn that she will continue and grow in her praising of the lord in her heart that's a wonderful prayer that you've raised from her and i thank you for keeping her and we have been very blessed here from the amazing shock and surprise for having no power here to having power and what God did in the consequence of some of those vicissitudes we see God in. You know, I'm asking to pray that If you put your hand in the hand of the Lord, you'll see God's handiwork everywhere you turn. Anyway, something that certainly isn't true, this week, is the WB7AX.

Yes, well, thank you. One highlight of our trip was we drove to Borrego, which is the original site where Roger Daly and I popped up, and we were able to see the um
