Yeah, same to you, yes, I appreciate the Bible study on Job, I've been able to tap into some books and resources that have been really rewarding for me. So I, yeah, I needed it. Over.

Yeah, copy that. I'm glad you're doing some outside reading. That is wonderful.

And, you know, Joseph Carl, who is an old Puritan guy, 40 years preaching through the book of Job, and went through it verse by verse, and basically used all the verses as a springboard for preaching on the subject that was being addressed, and of course preached the rest of the Bible in the process of doing that. We are not going through it in that degree of detail. But what's amazing about his sermons is he hardly ever did any repetition.

He was an amazing exegete. But anyway, I'm glad you're getting some commentaries. I'm sure you're not reading Joseph Carl.

But anyway, Roger, good to have you with us. And Peter says, good morning to everyone. So Peter, thank you for that.

All right, Roger, any prayer requests there? Go ahead. Well, it's a new day in Kenya for Candy and May and all the saints over there and those that haven't given their lives to the Lord.

There's a major youth rally that they're going to be involved with. I don't know exactly when that will happen, but you heard about the Bibles. I shared that yesterday that the congregation that we had shared Bibles with from the Messiah group, they want some more.

And so, as I told Jeff yesterday, that's a great need. More Word of God, over. Yeah, amen.

We can never print enough Bibles. Everybody needs a copy, and that's... what about 8 billion people on the face of the earth that need Bible so course folks wear them out and sometimes they're destroyed by evil folks so yeah in this need for Bibles up our dear brother Jeff a k6 okay is sent out Jeff, you can correct me on this, but you must have set out near a million Bibles so far, and there's still a crying me.

So anyway, yeah, more Bibles. Jeff, AK6, okay, how many Bibles have you set out in total, do you know? Yeah, God is good.

Alright, we're going to get started with our Bible study. We are in Job chapter 42. We're just going to kind of wrap up Job here and see the conclusion of the matter.

I want to thank Jeff, AK6OK, for running the net for me in my absence and for all his technical help with operating remotely from my hotel room in New Jersey and learning a lot there. Got some checklist items for myself now to pay attention to, where I stumbled up. And next time, each time, it should get a little better.

Jerry, AE7ER there in Roseburg, could you please open in prayer for us this morning? Our Father in heaven, Lord, we give you thanks for another day's rest and for the opportunity to go to church today and worship you. We ask you to be with everyone on this night and your family.

Keep them all well and safe as they travel today. Open our hearts and minds to what we read and hear today. And we ask this in Jesus' name.

Real good. Before we read our chapter, I want to just kind of step back and look at the book of Job as a whole and kind of retrace where we have been and kind of hit some highlights. which will give us some perspective on chapter 42.

So you recall that in the opening chapters of this book, we were helped to understand that sometimes events that occur in our lives are the result of conflicts in heaven between God and Satan. Events in the unseen world have a very large effect upon people here on earth and although we do not know what's going on oftentimes we are definitely affected by it so sometimes the explanation for events that happen in our lives really have nothing to do with us but they have to do with conflict in spiritual realms that we can't see or know about and Other times, as Job's three friends stated, negative and positive events are the result of our own behavior. Unrepentant sin sometimes does bring chastisement from God, and godly behavior often does bring great blessing.

Of course. We saw that the problem with Job's three friends was that they said that this is always the case, and it was the only explanation that could be offered for any event. And that's where they went wrong, making a legitimate principle the exclusive principle upon which God operated, implying there was no other principle or possible explanation for Job's suffering.

And so then we had Elihu, who stated sometimes events that occur in our lives are for our instruction. Or sometimes they're there to restrain us from future sins that we might commit. Sometimes they're there to preserve us from courses of action that would be destructive to us.

So negative providences are not necessarily for our punishment, Elihu was saying. but for the development of our character and for our protection and for directing us into a different course of life than we would have taken otherwise. So these three categories of explanation, that of the opening chapters, chapters 1 and 2, that of Job's three friends, and then that of Elihu are all valid.

They have merit, and they are some of the reasons why God brings certain events to pass in our lives. And while they do not explain every event, they do explain many of them. But then we saw that God showed up in chapter 38 and started speaking.

And in the closing chapters of this book, God Himself speaks, and in His speech we find the principle that covers every circumstance and situation that comes into our lives. And what's surprising is that God doesn't make any effort to explain Job's sufferings or the reasons why it occurred. Job is not told the cause of his sufferings.

The events of chapter 1 and 2 regarding the contest between God and Satan. are not revealed to Job. In fact, what is even more surprising is that God simply asked Job a series of questions about the natural creation, which seem at first to be wholly unrelated to the issues at hand.

But there's more here than meets the eye, and we saw that as Job was interrogated by God... What this did is reveal to Job that he was not in a position to be passing judgment on God, to be accusing God, or to be demanding out of God an explanation. And so what God is saying, really, Job, if you can answer these questions, then perhaps you have the confidence and the qualification to question me.

But if you're not even wise enough to answer these questions, are you in a position to be questioning my wisdom? And so if he doesn't understand the simpler and lower natural realm, then how is he ever going to be able to judge and understand the far more complex and higher moral realm? And so this is the approach God takes.

And what he is saying to Job is you need to take your place as a creature before your Creator, as a sinful man before a holy God, and as a man of limited wisdom before infinite wisdom, and trust, even if you don't understand, and praise and worship even when things aren't going the way that you had hoped. anyway that brings us into our chapter here in verse 42 we see Job responding and we're going to look at that response today so we need someone to do some scripture reading here for us Roger WP some VCL if you could read for us please job chapter 42 I would really appreciate that go ahead there Roger WV7VZL NASB Then God answered the Lord and said, I know that thou canst do all things, and that no purpose of thine can be thwarted. Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?

Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me which I did not know. Hear now, and I will speak. I will ask thee, and do thou instruct me.

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees thee. Therefore I retract, and I repent in dust and ashes. And it came about after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Timite, My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right as my servant Job has.

Now, therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves, and my servant Job will pray for you. For I will accept him, so that I may not do with you according to your folly, because you have not spoken of me what is right. as my servant Job has.

So Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Nehemiahite, went and did as the Lord told them. And the Lord accepted Job. verse 10 and the Lord restored the fortunes of job when he prayed for his friends and the Lord increased all that job had to twofold then all his brothers and all his sisters and all who had known him before came to him and they ate bread with him in his house and they consoled him and comforted him for all the evil that the Lord had brought on him.

And each one gave him one piece of money and each a ring of gold. And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. And he had 14,000 sheep and 6,000 camels.

and one thousand yoke of oxen and one thousand female donkeys. And he had seven sons and three daughters. And he named the first Jim and Ma and the second Keziziah.

And the third, Kiran Hapuk. In all the land, no women were found so fair as Job's daughters, and their father gave them inheritance among their brothers. And after this, Job lived 140 years and saw his sons and his grandsons four generations and joe died an old man and full of days this is wb7 vzl w back to the net roger wb7 vzl thank you so much for that great reading this is wb7 in the x-net control all right do we have any comments on this section that roger just read to us please come down to call sign km5s uh will km5s please go ahead well i have a comment overall of the whole book of job And that's that throughout it, nobody supported Job.

Especially to his faith. Not his friends, not his family, not his wife. Nobody, not even God until verse 9.

and the maturity of his faith, that even when everything and everyone was against him, no one was supporting him, no one was providing any comfort or help or explanation, he continued to maintain his integrity. He continued to maintain his faith in God. And while he was struggling, he never turned away, and he never turned back.

He was just continuing to go forward, however stumblingly. And so, you know, Will, sometimes... We follow Christ all by ourselves.

I mean, there are times when we don't have a support structure around us. Maybe we're in an environment or a situation for a shorter or longer period of time where we're the only Christian there. And we're just getting hammered.

And during our faith and we need to maintain our faithfulness and continue to cling to the Lord in spite of the fact that it appears that everything and everyone is against us. And it's a remarkable credit to Job in the maturity and the stability and the solidity of his faith that he didn't ever throw up his hands and say, I'm done. No, he just kept going towards the Lord.

It kind of reminds me of Corrie Ten Boom, you know, when she was in the concentration camp. How that even though, you know, I've heard many people say, well, you know, the concentration camps, the Holocaust, you know, because of that, I don't believe in God. How could God allow something like that?

And then you have somebody like Corrie Ten Boom, who in spite of all that, drew even closer to God. and had her faith in God even more strengthened. So yes, when you're alone, and it seems like everyone and everything is against you, you just keep clinging to the Lord and keep following him.

spoken to yet. A very wonderful summary there, Max, of the book of Job, I think covers some really key points and also, Will, this is so true. It's hard for us to imagine the level of suffering not only we've often think of the physical suffering and But we can see the emotional suffering the spiritual service a complete alienation of Job by his family by his friends by those in around him Here he once was you know, ruler, highly revered.

And not only that, but falsely accused. And this is something, too, that we see addressed in this chapter here as things come to a conclusion, as we... As Job trusted God to make all things right, though he didn't understand the circumstances he was in, he still kept and maintained that faith and that trust in Job.

And we see this even as he... speaks, you know, recognizes his smallness compared to God when God shows his presence. And he says, you know, I'm still on the ash heap, but to have that experience, to be in the presence of God, you know, I've think of again isaiah 6 5 and revelation 1 verse 17 i think as you pointed out there recently roger how when we are in the presence of god how humbling is that but not only that we see that all this really kind of theological systematic theological speech of his friends from a comfortable position all this uh condescending accusation of Job's friends and of Job really was turned on his head and he's in it and it was God responded by it it stirred the wrath of God now God just wasn't displeased with with their speech.

He wasn't just as displeased with their theology. He wasn't just as pleased with their accusations, but his wrath was kindled. He was angered because of...

And I think we see why he was so angered, because four times here in this chapter we see that Job is referred to as God's servant. My servant Job. And what God does in this text is he holds up the honest...

anguished speech of Job high over the arrogant, condescending, systematic theology of his friends. And I think this is one thing that is an important principle to take away. is that God would rather hear us with honest speech, speaking of our anguish, our suffering honestly, from a position of faith, but honest speech, and not try to sugarcoat it or not try to blame God for it.

or as his friends tried to falsely accuse him and get him to repent of sins he didn't commit, God condemned that. But Job spoke from a position of honest, anguish-honest relationship, and God responds to that. In our relationship with God, it's more important that we're honest with God in our walk with Him than some pretentious...

superficial speech that we think just God wants to hear. KB7ZXM. Yeah, Kevin.

WB7MX here. Well said. You know, As you said, God is angry.

His wrath has been kindled. And why is that? Well, the answer is because he has been misrepresented.

He has been lied about by these men as to what he is doing and as to why he is doing it. And what this should do is it should cause every Bible teacher... to take serious pause and serious assessment.

That when they say, well, God is doing this, or God is thinking that, or this is what God is. You know, if you misrepresent God... That incurs the wrath of God.

And one of the things that I really trembled over as a pastor all my life is my greatest fear is the fear of misrepresenting God when I teach others about Him. And so, you know, that's one of the things that God says in Psalm 50. He says, "You thought that I was altogether such a one as thyself, but I will reprove thee and set thee in order." And so that's why it says in James chapter 3, be not many teachers, knowing we will receive the greater judgment.

And so it's a very serious thing to be representing what God thinks or what God says about any issue to other people, because we have to be sure that we have done... our exegesis. We've done our Bible studies so we can be sure that when we are speaking for God and we're speaking about God, we're accurately representing him.

And so it would just be like if I said things about you here on the net that weren't true about you. Maybe I said some negative things about you, and you would be very upset at me misrepresenting your character or your conduct or your thinking or what you said. None of us likes to be misrepresented.

But if I misrepresent you, while that's a serious thing, it's not going to determine whether somebody goes to heaven or hell. But if I misrepresent God and his message, that can have eternal consequences. So You know, we need to take very seriously the responsibility we have to accurately represent God to those that we are speaking to about Him.

Kevin, thank you for that. That was the problem with Job's three friends, is that they didn't accurately represent God, they misrepresented Him. Alright, any other comments on the passage?

Please come down. KJ6J, go ahead there Jerry. Yeah, and I'm going to take a stab at this.

So, as we read through this, you know, the opening of chapter 42 was Job repenting before the Lord. And then, of course, in verse 8, the Lord deals with his friends and says, You know, you've wronged me. Do this to correct it.

And in no uncertain terms, which they did. But what I find interesting is in verse 10, Job was restored after he had prayed for his friends. The restoration of all that he'd lost happened there after he prayed for his friends.

And then, of course, we proceed through and all the blessings are named off. But all of his friends and his sons and daughters, they came and blessed him as well, apologizing. At least that's kind of the way they consoled him.

They approached him in a new tone with their newfound... They've been enlightened by the Lord. Here's where you did wrong, and Job didn't do anything wrong.

Another thing that stands out for me is verse 15. So he had these beautiful daughters, but then he blessed them as well with an inheritance, which if I understand that culture at that time, that wasn't typical. The sons got the inheritances, and especially the firstborn got the main blessings.

and for the women or girls in the family to also receive an inheritance, I don't believe that was typical in that culture. Instead, when a man wanted to marry a woman in a family, I can't remember the term for it, but it's a gift to the family or the wife. And so I find that interesting as well.

Well, that's all I've got. Back to you, Pastor Max. Yeah, Jerry, KG6J, thank you for those comments.

You are right, it was not the habit and the pattern that the daughters would get an inheritance. And you know, that's one of the things we see, Jerry, is Christianity elevating women and giving them a place of importance, a place of significance, a place of value, a place of equality in the eyes of God with men. All the false religions always denigrate women and put them down and crush them under the heel of men and treat them with contempt and with being people of less value than men.

But Christianity is not like that. And so you're right. The term you were looking for is dowry.

And you're right. When a man would... marry a woman, he would have to bring a dowry to the family.

So yes, the prosperity that's here, the blessing that's here is just enormous, and it extends not only to Job's sons, but also to Job's daughters. We could talk about Job's daughters here in a minute, but I want to get back to your other comment, which I thought was really important, and that is, it says in verse 10, that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, Also, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. And so these friends had sinned, and God said, Job, you pray for them.

You offer sacrifice for them. And then when you do that, I will restore you as well. And so what we see here is, you know, when we forgive others, then God forgives us.

And when we reconcile with others, God reconciles with us. And, you know, there's a lot that can be said by way of qualification to all of that. But the point is here is that...

Job had to take these three friends who had so abused him. And you remember some of the things he said about them. Miserable comforters are you all, etc.

And yet now he is interceding for these people, asking God to forgive them, offering sacrifice on behalf of them. and bringing them out from under the wrath of God and into reconciliation with God. In that sense, Job is kind of like Jesus.

Those who hated Jesus, Jesus offers sacrifice for them so they can be forgiven and reconciled to God. So, Jerry, two great observations. Thank you for that.

Okay, any other comments on this passage? Please come down. KM5S.

Will, QM5F, please go ahead. Well, maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see any place where either God or Job responded to Elihu. You're not missing anything.

There was no response to him. Okay. And basically what God is doing by this non-response regarding Elihu is affirming what he said as being true and valid.

And so I think that Elihu comes off in this book as being someone who spoke truth. No, he didn't speak all of the truth, but what he did speak was the truth. And so there's no reproof for him, there's no correction of him.

And so therefore, as we read what he wrote, and see that God approves of it, at least in terms of the fact that He doesn't offer any correction for it, and there doesn't need to be any atonement offered for Him for what He did and said, indicates that what He did and said was true and valid. So I think that the silence here, Will, is an endorsement of what he did and the role he took in this discussion. Back to you there, Will.

Well, thanks for the explanation, KM, for the... All right. Any other comments on this passage?

Please come to us. Is that extent? Is that extent?

Kevin, please go ahead. Yeah, and I would read that a little different on Elihu. You're right, though.

There is no response. I think many of the things that Elihu did speak were correct in On Traga, but he was also accusatory and off-bases. as well, but I think what I take away from that is I think his heart was right with God.

It's why God did not respond. Whether he spoke correctly or in error at times in his speech, his relationship, it speaks to his relationship maybe with God. But one of the things I think, and I'm glad you talked about Tim and Job's praying for his friend, and you touched on it just a little bit, but I think it's a very important typology here, Christology here, that we see that first thing, you know, God's wrath was kindled against them.

And because of our sin, you know, God's wrath is kindled against all of us as sinners unless we repent. And he called his three friends to repentance. He has certainly called all of us.

to repentance, hasn't he? And the role that Job plays really is the role, as you point out, or you touched on there, Max, of our Lord and Savior as our intercessor, that Jesus comes before God as our intercessor and prays on our behalf. You know, as we read, you know, 1 John 1 and 9, that our Lord continually intercedes on our behalf.

We see this in Hebrews as well, the role that Jesus plays in praying for us. and coming to the Lord, praying for, but what initiated this restoration of his three friends with God was, began with the repentance. And also, I think in verse 1, I know some translations show that Job repented.

You know, I've looked at that word in the Hebrew, and I think that is really got Job's recognition of his smallness in the presence of God. You know, Job spoke rightly. He trusted God.

He spoke, though he slay me, I will still trust God. And yet, when he was in the presence of God, he recognized that he spoke things that he did not understand. Now, he didn't speak to him as his friends did in error.

as far as intent. But he admits that he spoke of things he did not understand, but it was from a good heart. It was from the right heart.

But I'm sure there probably was an element of repentance as we all will regret maybe and want to turn away from anything that we said in error once we are in the presence of God but anyway wonderful comments all the way around I thank you KB7 is that acceptable Yeah, Kevin, interesting take there. My version, King James Version, says in Job chapter 42 and verse 6, Wherefore I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes. So it appears there was some repentance there.

Certainly, you know, there was some sin because of ignorance. but nevertheless, even sins of ignorance need to be confessed and repented of when we become aware of them. And I would like to acknowledge Dave, KE7WKI.

Dave, thank you for being there. Appreciate you being there on the Utah SDR. Okay, we are getting close to being out of time.

I just wanted to make some comments about the parallels between Job and Christ. Okay. And so we've touched on this as we've gone through the book, but we see that Jesus is foreshadowed in many Old Testament figures.

And Job is also, in some respects, a foreshadow of Christ. Like Christ, Job suffered for no sin of his own. We see that it wasn't because Job sinned that he was suffering in chapters 1 and 2.

Like Christ, he was forsaken by his friends and falsely accused. So we see Jesus being forsaken in the Garden of Gethsemane by his friends. And then, of course, falsely accused by the Sanhedrin, Caiaphas and Annas.

And in like Christ, he represents those who are under the wrath of God and makes sacrifice and intercession on their behalf. So we have Eliphaz and Bildad and Zophar here who are under the wrath of God Job makes sacrifice and atonement for them, just like Jesus made sacrifice and atonement for us who are under the wrath of God. And on the basis of Job's sacrifice and intercession, Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar are forgiven and accepted.

on the basis of the sacrifice and intercession of Jesus, we are forgiven and accepted by God. And so also like Christ, Job receives and forgives those who have abused and afflicted him. And you know, there was the soldier who nailed Jesus to the cross, and yet a little bit later he says, "Truly this was the Son of God." We see the two thieves on the cross who reviled him, and one of them repented, and he was received.

And so Job is, in many respects, a type of Christ. And so I think it's important for us to see those parallels. and that foreshadowing.

was reading a similar parallel here at the end of a book that I have. Job was God's suffering servant in the Satan's challenge in the heavenly assembly. But a greater suffering servant described by the prophet Isaiah...

came in the person of Jesus and shared our grief and pain with us and went far beyond even the worst agony we could ever know. So the spiritual anguish that Jesus faced on I really appreciated your parallels there between Jesus and Job. Over.

Yeah, Roger, thank you for that. They certainly were both suffering servants. And you know, Jesus said in John chapter 5, "Search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life." And they are they which testify of me.

And so, of course, at that point in history, the New Testament didn't exist. And so he was talking about the 39 books of the Old Testament. And he's saying, you search those, they speak of me.

And not only directly, you know, in passages like Isaiah chapter 53 and Psalm 22, but also in terms of types and figures and foreshadowing. So as we read the Old Testament, we realize it's saturated with references to Christ. And so just as Moses delivered Israel out of bondage, Christ delivers his people out of bondage.

And just as Joseph was, as it were, killed and buried in Egypt and then had a marvelous resurrection... and through that delivered the people of God. You know, we have all of these parallels.

So anyway, thank you for that, Roger. Appreciate that. All right, any final comments before we go to prayer?

Please come down to your call booth. All right. You know, I think it's important for us to understand here that when God showed up here in chapter 42, he never explains to Job why what happened happened.

Job was never meant to know the explanation for his suffering. So it would have been easy to explain in a few words what the source of all this was, that it was the result of a battle between God and Satan. God never explained it.

And it was not that he could not. It was that he would not. To have done so would have been to destroy the whole purpose of this trial.

Had he been told the origin of this problem and the outcome of this problem while going through this problem, then there would have been no real test of his character whatsoever. or of his faith. There would have been no place for a genuine exercise of faith and growth in faith.

And so from God's actions of withholding the truth about the cause and the outcome of Job's sufferings while he was going through them, we learn that there are some things about human sufferings which God cannot possibly explain to us without destroying the whole purpose for which these difficulties are brought into our lives. And so the divine purpose here is to bring Job to the point where he rests in God himself apart from any explanation, where he trusts God as being absolutely righteous and good regardless of whatever unexplained adversities God brings into his life. And so that's the universal principle that covers every situation.

We need to just trust God. And it's for the purpose of teaching us to trust in God against all seeming contradictions and in the absence of any explanation that this book was written and given to. So here you are.

You are going through terrible things. It seems to contradict the promises of God. It seems to contradict the justice of God.

It seems to contradict the love of God and the fatherly care that God has for you. And even though all those things are there, What we need to learn in them is I'm going to trust God irrespective of the fact that I don't have an explanation and this doesn't seem right. Because God is a God who is wise.

God is a God who is good. and God is teaching us lessons and what he's doing is deepening and strengthening our implicit faith in him in Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 it says without faith it is impossible to please him for he that comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him and that's really all we need to know We don't need to know the why. We need to know the who.

And we need to know the who is God, and He can be trusted even when He can't be understood. And so we just need to understand that and realize, okay, I'm not going to get an explanation here. But what I am going to do is I'm going to trust God in spite of.

the lack of explanation and when we do that God is very pleased by that and brings us out of those circumstances in his time and in his way alright we are way out of time we need to go to prayer any final prayer requests before we pray please come down to call alright well let's go to the Lord in prayer Our kind and gracious Father, we thank you so much for the good news about our dear brother Beck, Alpha Alpha Phi Yankee. Father, thank you Father for sparing his life. Thank you for providing him with good medical care.

Thank you, Father, for the healing that has been set in motion by the surgery he was able to receive after his accident. Lord, we just pray for Beck. Lord, take away his pain.

Bring healing to all of the structures that were damaged. And, Father, I pray that he would come out of this fully restored and without any lasting disabilities. as a result of it.

Father, may through this time of unexplained suffering in Beck's life, that he simply trusts God, even when he doesn't understand why this was allowed to happen. Lord, here's the perfect example of what Job has been teaching us. And Lord, I just pray that Beck's faith would be strengthened.

and that his walk with you would be deepened. And, Lord, thank you for the privilege that all of us had in praying. And, Lord, may through this event you bring glory to yourself and growth to your people and witness, Father, to the lost that are around us.

Father, we also pray for Glenn, KJ7UMW, for the healing of his broken neck and for the healing of his wife, Vicki's hernia. Lord, we just thank you that Candy and May made it to Kenya. Lord, we just pray for successful ministry among the deaf.

Lord, give them wisdom and words and knowing how to communicate the gospel. And Lord, all the decisions that have to be made about various ministry decisions Father, just may your good hand be on them as they go and minister in your name to your people with your gospel. Father, we just thank you that George K2KJX's wife Sue had successful thyroid surgery.

Father, she's still got a drain tube in. in struggling a little bit with high blood pressure. Lord, I just pray that you would bring healing there.

And Lord, I pray especially that in due time there would be a proper regulation of the thyroid replacement hormones that she will be receiving. Lord, just raise her up, give her strength so that she can continue to run the greenhouse business that she and George have there together. And Lord, may she know stability in her body after all of this is settled down and she goes on with life.

Father, I just also want to pray today for my pastor, Jeff Black, who has severe ulcerative colitis. Lord, I just pray for his healing through medical treatment he's receiving. Lord, I pray the VA would step up to the plate and do all that is needed in a timely fashion to bring him out of this.

And, Father, may they recognize and regret letting it get to this point through neglect and refusal to treat. And, Lord, may there be a reversal now of that. Father, I just pray for John, WB7, WQK.

Pray for relief regarding his pain and mobility and health issues. Father, I haven't heard from Joan in a while. Just pray, Lord, that you would strengthen him and help him in his walk with you.

Father, we just pray that as Will, K-5 Foxtrot, gets this PET scan that's coming up, that there would be an accurate reading of that and a clear diagnosis and a good treatment plan. Father, just give Will peace. And I pray that you give him protection so that this cancer he's got that's real slow growing would just die on the vine and, Father, not be able to make any progress.

Father, we continue to pray for our brother, Doc, W6ROJ. who continues to struggle with his kidneys and proper treatment for them, and for doctors to figure out what the problem is. Father, I just ask that you bring healing to Doc so that he can minister in your kingdom.

Lord, we just want to thank you today for the Midwest Bible Study that meets at 4 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on 3962.5 and for Daryl, WB7AOT, it's Net Control. Lord thank you for his ministry there Thank you that they were also praying for Beck And Lord I just ask that you might bring Real growth and understanding of your word Through that Bible study Father we just want to pray for Caitlin and Levi And others that Roger WV7VZL is witnessing to Father, bring them to salvation.

And Father, I pray that you would open their heart's door for Roger and Darlene and their ministry and their lives. Father, we continue to pray for Brian, KJ7 PWM. Father, we pray for his son Bailey and his partner Joey, that their construction business, would just really flourish.

And through it, Father, may they bear testimony to Christ. Father, we pray for Harvey, W-A-3-E-I-B. His wife, Karen, has AFib and early onset Alzheimer's.

Lord, I just pray that you would be pleased to... restrain any further progress of that Alzheimer's and stabilize her heart. Lord, we thank you for Keith, WB7RKR, and the aid that he struggled with.

And Father, for his wife, Ronnie, and her Alzheimer's, Lord, I just pray that you would bring healing to both of these families. And Lord, I pray that you would just provide grace and strength to be able to deal with the health issues. they're facing father our brother bird w7 rkd asked us to pray for thomas w17 his wife passed away to pray for thomas that he would know your presence he would know your comfort that he would be filled with your goodness lord we just pray today for our nation for its leaders the legislators at the local, state, and national level, our judges.

Father, the whole civil government of America desperately needs your blessing. And, Father, I pray that you would restrain evil, that many of our political leaders have plans, and, Lord, that you would bless and encourage righteousness that many others want to see accomplished. Lord, defeat the evil that is in our government.
