I'm having to juggle a couple of things here, so if there's a little pause, don't worry about that. I'm just pushing buttons and twisting knobs. So anyway, we are in Job chapter 39 and 40 today.

Now, I'd like to open in prayer, and then I'll do a little review, and then we'll get launched into our Bible reading. So let's open with prayer. And in 6XOH, if you could open in prayer for us this morning, I'd appreciate that.

Go ahead. Okay. Alright, let's all bow our heads there.

Heavenly Father, we've come in this morning. We ask that you bless each person here. We ask that you Holy Spirit descend upon each one of us that are participating and listening in the net this morning.

Help us all to gain a blessing from reading the book of Job. and learn the story of Job. I hope we can all gain a blessing and learn from the trials and tribulations that he had, that he overcame, that he kept his faith in you, Lord.

I just ask you to be with Pastor Max as he leads out. Also, Lord, I just ask the blessing on his... ministry back east as he delivers the message to the people back in New Jersey.

So I just ask, Lord, that you bless this ministry for him. Watch over each and every one of us and help us all to be ready when you come to take us home, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.

N-6X-O-H. yeah thank you so much for that wonderful career i really appreciate that all right this is wb7mx neck control for the west coast level study we are in the book of jobes now yesterday we read chapter 38 and chapter 38 dealt with uh God speaking to Job finally in the midst of all of his sorrow and in the midst of all of his suffering. Hold on one second here.

Alright, good. I got my, my, my, my SDR muted. Okay, so I have to hear myself while I talk.

Okay, so in chapter 38, you recall in verse 2, God shows up and he says, "Who is this that darkens tell-soul by words without knowledge?" And so basically what he's saying is that Job is not bringing light by what he's saying, but bringing darkness by what he's saying. And you know, when people talk and claim to represent God, we need to put to all that they say to the test of the Scriptures in order to be sure that what they are saying is according to the Scriptures correctly. and actually bringing light instead of darkness because there's a lot of so-called angels of light that are actually spreading darkness in this world and we need to be aware of that.

Well, God begins to interrogate Job and ask him questions about the natural creation. And basically what he's doing here is he's saying to Job, look, if you don't know the basics of creation, how are you going to understand the basics of providence? which is, of course, what Job was experiencing at that point in time.

So yesterday we saw God asking Job questions about the creation and the placement of the earth in space in 38:4, the creation of the oceans in 38:8, the creation of the sun and all of its functions in 38:12, the creation of the weather systems, the rain and the snow in 38:22, the creation of the stars and the constellations in 38-31, and then, of course, the animal kingdom and all its functions, lions in particular, in 38-39. Now, we're coming today to chapters 39 and 40, And here we have in chapter 39 a continuation of God questioning Job about how the animal kingdom functions. So he talks about the goats, the wild donkeys, the ox, the ostrich, the horse, and the hawk.

And that questioning about the natural creation that begins in chapter 38 goes all the way through chapter 39. And then when we get to chapter 40, God's going to start asking Job questions about God himself. And then he will return to a discussion of the natural creation in 40 and verse 15.

So that's kind of a broad overview of what's going on here and the reason why God is asking Job all of these questions. that Job can't answer, that God has answered, to show that Job is not in a position to be questioning God, someone who is so far superior to him that Job is in no place to be questioning him. All right, that's where we're at.

And so I'm going to ask Jerry, KG6J, if you would read for us, please, Job chapter 39. Jerry, KG6J, go ahead and read Job 39. Okay.

all the way through to the end of the chapter. And then Jeff, AK6OK, will pick up Chapter 40 and read that all the way through to the end of the chapter. All right, Jerry, you go ahead, and then Jeff, you go ahead and take off when Jerry's done.

WB7MA. KG6J, reading joke, Chapter 39, from the new King James. Do you know the time when the wild mountain goats bear young?

Or can you mark when the deer give birth? Can you number the months that they fulfill? Or do you know the time when they bear young?

They bow down. They bring forth their young. They deliver their offspring.

Their young ones are healthy. They grow strong with grain. They depart and do not return to them.

Who set the wild donkey free? Who loosed the bonds of the onager? Whose home I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwelling.

He scorns the culmts of the city. He does not heed the shouts of the driver. The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searches every green thing.

Will the wild ox be willing to serve you? Will he bed by your manger? Can you bind the wild ox in the furrow with rope?

Or will he plow the valleys behind you? Will you trust him because his strength is great, or will you leave your labor to him? Will you trust him to bring home your grain and gather it to your threshing floor?

The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, but are her wings and pinions like the kindly storks? for she leaves her eggs on the ground and warms them in the dust. She forgets that a foot may crush them or that a wild beast may break them.

She treats her young harshly as though they were not hers. Her labor is in vain without concern, because God deprived her of wisdom and did not endow her with understanding. When she lifts herself on high, she thorns the horse and its riders.

Have you given the horse strength? Have you clothed his neck with thunder? Can you frighten him like a locust?

His majestic snorting strikes terror. He paws in the valley and rejoices in his strength. He gallops into the clash of arms.

He mocks at fear and is not frightened, nor does he turn back from the sword. The quiver rattles against him, the glittering spear and javelin. He devours the distance with fierceness and rage.

Nor does he stand firm because the trumpet has sounded. At the blast of the trumpet, he says, Aha! He smells the battle from afar, the thunder of captains and shoutings.

Does the hawk fly by your wisdom and spread its wings toward the south? Does the eagle mount up at your command and make its nest on high? It dwells on the rock and resides on the crag of the rock and the stronghold.

From there it spies out the prey. Its eyes observe from afar. Its young ones.

suck up blood and where the slain are there it is Job chapter 39 page 16 okay let's pick up in 40 and I'm reading from the NLT then the Lord said to Job do you still want to argue with the Almighty you are God's critic but do you have the answers Then Job replied to the Lord, "I am nothing. How could I ever find the answers? I will cover my mouth with my hand.

I have said too much already. I have nothing more to say." Then the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind, "Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. Will you discredit my justice and condemn me to prove you are right?

Are you as strong as God? Can you thunder with a voice like his? All right, put on your glory and splendor, your honor and majesty.

Give vent to your anger, let it overflow against the proud. Humiliate the proud with a glance. walk on the wicked where they stand bury them in the dust imprison them in the world of the dead then even I would praise you for your strength would save you I look at the behemoth which I made just as I made you it eats grass like an ox see it's powerful loins and them and the muscles of its belly Its tail as strong as a cedar.

The sinews of its thighs are knit tightly together. Its bones are tubes of bronze. Its limbs are bars of iron.

It's a prime example of God's handiwork, and only its creator can threaten it. and the mountains offer it their best food, where all the wild animals play. It lies under the lotus plants, hidden by the reeds in the marsh.

The lotus plants give it shade among the willows beside the stream. It is not disturbed by the raging river, not concerned with the swelling Jordan as it rushes around it. no one can catch it off guard or put a ring in its nose and lead it away back to you max all right jerry and jeff great reading thank you so much for that three uh jerry kg6j ak6 okay all right well um These are two chapters in which God continues to question Job.

I'm happy to get the ball rolling here. And, yeah, you provided a great introduction to this. You know, as God describes these things, this really does have a lot of important theological importance.

blessing for us in in that now here god moves really from the uh as he described this he has full dominion over all the cosmos all creation he shifts here from the cosmic to the creature if you will and as he begins to describe this nature, this wild nature, that does not fall under the discipline of man, but is under the divine nature that God created. Not only the divine nature that God created, but the divine care and the divine well, divine care and monitoring and perception of God as he goes through and describes all of these animals, the goats that you know, give birth up on the high cliffs, who can do that? who can manage that?

and in this wild world that is not subject to man's oversight or framework. This wild kingdom also has order. This is not a wild kingdom of chaos, but as he goes through, every one of these animals has order to it.

and not only in order of care to it. You know, it's... But one of the things that I think we see here, too, are two important principles just right off the bat that stand out to me.

First of all, regarding Job, you know, and as that wild burrow, where the wild mule is not going to be tamed, Job can look kind of in a mirror and say, look, I'm not going to be tamed by the theology of these three friends in Elihu, you know, elihu they they you know he he's not going to be subjected to their framework he's not going to be domesticated by their uh uh you know saying that i'm guilty of something that he's not he's not going to be subjected to that and and he's following the nature provided to him by god and dwelt in him i believe by his faith in god by god's grace and and he's following that pattern that way that God has guided him to follow. At the same time, the example of the bull and maybe some of the others, you cannot harness God. You cannot domesticate God.

God is a free God. God is far bigger and broader and... more magnificent you're not going to harness him and domesticate him to be your will and this is what uh it's so disturbing about so much of christiandom out there so much you see on tv they try to you know box god into some sort of formula that if you just do this well god will do that And if you just, you know, if you want to be successful, well, you've got to check these boxes.

If you want to, you know, whatever, be rich. You've got to check these boxes. If you want to be healthy, you've got to check these boxes.

Well, no, God's not going to be harnessed into some... idea of man's formula or some harness of our will. God is the Almighty, and God will do as he pleases, as we see in Isaiah 10, 55, and 56, as we see in Romans 11, 33, and 34, which I just love that text because, you know, who can grasp and understand the riches, the wisdom, the knowledge of God?

Who can even come close to understanding His judgment? But at the same time of all of this, this same God that is almighty cares and watches out for all of His creation. How much more does He watch out for you and me?

There's not a moment that has gone by of Job's sufferings that he hasn't been attentive to and aware of. And as we see in Matthew 10 and, what is it, 29 through 31, you know, even the sparrows, Luke 12, 6 and 7, the same thing. Even the sparrows.

that are sold for a penny. He watches out for even the sparrows that are out there by the millions that people take for granted. God cares for each one of those.

How much more so is he noticing each moment of suffering of God or of Job here? So though God is magnificent and glorious, he is also a very personal and aware God. KB7, Zedek Sin.

Yes, Kevin, thanks for those several thoughts that you brought out here. You know, you're right. These two chapters, and indeed as we go on, we see the complexity of creation, we see the order of creation, we see the variety of creation.

All these things echo the wisdom of God and the... power of God that he is able to make these things and the wisdom of God that he's able to make them in such a way that he does. And then, you know, you pointed out that animals illustrate various attributes of man and of God, and that's true.

You know, we recognize that all things are the echo of the one who made them and point out. certain things about him, the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly understood, being understood by the things that are made even as eternal power and God does. And so, yes, and then we see God's care for these animals, just as he cares for the sparrows, He cares for his creation and how much more does he care for us who are actually made in his image unlike the animals.

And so we see him regulating the function of the animals, the relative intelligence level of the animals, the activities of the animals. And all of these things and all of their variety and complexity and order tell us that whoever made this is so far infinitely above us that we need to fall down and worship him as creation, for his creation. without even taking into consideration his redemptive and providential work as well.

I don't think this was written necessarily for Job as much as it was for all of us. As you read all of this. This is like recenter your thinking, folks.

I'm the guy that made this old thing. Over. Yeah, I'll do that.

Well said, Jeff. You know, the thing is that he not only points out this natural creation extensively, not only its origin, but also its management and, as Kevin said, its complexity, order, and variety. But then he asked Job, here in chapter 40, in verses 1 to 14, several questions about himself.

And he's saying to Job, do you have my level of judgment? Right? And do you, are you going to condemn me and justify yourself?

Do you have my strength? Are you able to speak with my voice? Do you have my majesty and my glory and my beauty?

Can you abase the proud? Well, if you can do all those things that I do, then you can save yourself. And so you're right, Jeff, he wrote this for us.

And he points out not only the natural creation and his management of that in his providence, not only the physical creation but also the animal creation. But then he says, "Joe, look at me. Can you do the stuff I do?" And all of this was written for us and it was written to show us our littleness, our our ignorance, our foolishness, that we would ever think that we are in a position to be questioning God.

And it's interesting how Job responds here. Job answered the Lord and said in verse 4, behold I am vile What shall I answer thee? I will lay my hand upon my mouth once I have spoken, but I will not answer thee twice, but I will proceed no further.

So he recognizes that it was vile of him to ever question a God who could create his creation, manage his creation, and then who God was in and of himself. And when you see that, then you recognize that, number one, you're vile, that is, you're a sinner. And then, number two, that you are a creature.

And so, therefore, you're not competent to be questioning the Creator. Great comment there, Jeff. All of this stuff was written for us.

And we do well to take heed to this as being addressed to us. And so I had a friend of mine, Jeff, who put a sign on his mirror. Every morning he went into shape, right?

And on his mirror he had this little sign that says, "Behold, I am vile." And he just wanted to start out the day by humbling himself before God and recognizing that he was not fit to question God today. He was just supposed to trust God, obey God, and worship God. So when you get up in the morning, say to yourself, Behold, I am vile.

And that's a great way to start the day by putting yourself in your place. Back to you there, Jeff. yeah interesting which which brings up another thought did all of this attack on job cause him to become a center i know nobody is perfect and job was pretty close but uh did this bring out the worst in uh in job just like it would in us right if this all happened to us uh would we uh would we become uh a much more of a sinner than we ever were before That's interesting.

And yes, I do love the way Joe answered this and said, "I've got nothing else to say. I think I'm done. I'm going to cover my mouth and just go away." I copy that.

Great trials bring great temptation. And the greater the trial, the greater the temptation to go off the rails. And that's why it says in the Bible, God does not allow us to be tempted beyond that which we are able but will with the temptation, provide a way of escape that you may be able to bear it.

And when you look at the level of temptation or trial that God allowed Job to be placed under, what that tells you is this man had a phenomenal level of temptation. and the tourney, God's not going to try him above that which he is able. And the trial was this great.

Obviously, his ability spiritually was very, very high. And, of course, we see him doing really well initially. You know, the Lord gave, the Lord took away, blessed be the name of the Lord.

And then in chapter 2, shall we receive good at the hand of God and shall we not receive adversity? And then, of course, as he goes through this, Jeff, he has his ups and downs. God does say to him, look, your perspective is a perspective that doesn't contain much light.

There's a lot of darkness in what you're saying in that you're implying that somehow you're being treated unjustly. You're declaring you want an audience with me. You want me to explain myself to you.

So yeah, Job did fail here to a significant degree in the way in which he responded to this trial over the long term as it went on and on and on and on. Oftentimes when trials first come, we do pretty well. You know, we respond with faith, we respond with biblical principles, but over time the trial really starts getting to our flesh.

And so we have to be careful the longer the trial, the more careful we have to guard ourselves that we don't go off the rails. So, yeah, Job did go off the rails here, and God is correcting him, and he comes right back on the rails as soon as God starts speaking to him here, when he says in chapter 40 and verse 4, "Behold, I am vile," and then in chapter 42, which we haven't gotten to yet, in verse 2, He says, "I know that thou canst do everything, and no thoughts will be withholden from thee. Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge?

Therefore have I uttered that I understood not, things too wonderful for me." And so he says in verse 6 of chapter 42, "Forfore I have formed myself to repent and dust in ashes." And I know we're not there yet, but what you see is these two responses, "I repent and dust in ashes," "I am vile," he puts himself back in the place. where he should have remained all along and where he was when he first responded, but then, as you said, he went off the rails. So this passage will help us keep perspective in our sufferings stay where we belong, and that's humble, and that's meek and grateful and worshiping and not go into this rebellion and defiance and anger of God.

And good questions, too. You know, as we come into Chapter 40 here, you know, I'm reminded, too, that Job has been asking, for an audience before God and to be in the presence of God and Understandably because God job has been suffering tremendously in every way imaginable and But it's interesting as we reflect on where Job is now in chapter 40. I'm reminded what he was in chapter 29, I think verse 9, where he says, you know, he's reflecting on his previous life as king.

And he says, you know, those that would come before me would be silenced. And because, you know, when you walk before a sovereign, they have all authority. And you give them that reverence of silence most oftentimes.

If you have nothing, praise or something to offer your best... show of reverence is silence. But here, now after God has questioned him for two chapters and introduced himself, he has that audience before God.

But the mere presence of God has silenced him. You know, we see this in Isaiah 6, the first, you know, five, six verses there as isaiah stands before god he he comes in the presence of god he says i'm undone i'm unclean and and job here it just by being in the very presence How can you respond? But then God opens up and speaks to Job further and really draws out of him some, well, I'll leave it there right now, further conversation that really leads to some great understanding of his and our relationship with God.

KB7, is that acceptable? Yeah, Kevin, KB7ZXN, thank you for that comment. You know what's interesting to me is that Job is the first book of the Bible that was ever written historically.

And what do we see Job doing in the presence of God? He falls on his face. You mentioned Isaiah chapter 6, Isaiah falling on his feet.

And then I'm reminded of Revelation chapter 1 where Jesus appears and John falls on his feet. And so from the first book of the Bible to the middle of the Bible to the last book in the Bible, every time God shows up, everybody falls on their face before him. they are instantly in awe, they are in humility, they are in reverence, they are in worship, they are in self-abasement.

And that's the position that befits us to have is the posture of our heart. when we come into the presence of God, either in prayer or in scripture reading. Lord, you know, it's the attitude of Samuel, you know, speak, Lord, for thy servant heareth.

And so our disposition before God is, needs to echo that of Job and Isaiah and John and all the other people in Scripture. You know, the idea that people are going to argue with God on the Day of Judgment or they're going to reason with God or persuade God, we are not in the position to be doing that. And so, Kevin, thank you for pointing that out.

Anybody want to make any comments about chapter 40 and verse 15 and the following? Any comments there? Thanks so much.

Is that example? I think it said that it's in enlightenment as to what that passage talks about. What was that, Max?

Enlightenment's talking about what that passage was talking about there in Bill chapter 20, verses 15 to 23. Okay, well, I was just going to go ahead. I'm stuck.

contemplating the silence, you know. And this silence, and I'm glad you pointed to Revelation as well, you know, the silence isn't a silence of defeat. This is the silence of being in the presence of God.

And, you know, God has answered him not in the why, but with his presence. And with God's presence, I think, comes to understand that, and we see the fulfillment of God, of Job's faithfulness, really, and that though he slay me, I trust him. Now what a profound fulfillment of that.

Now that he's come into the presence of God, and his hand is over his mouth, not because of any defeat, because God's presence alone, answers the questions more so and more powerfully than why, but because God is God there. KB7 is that example. Yes, Kevin.

Right. Yes, silence is not defeat. Silence is respect.

Silence is reverence. Silence is awe. Silence is a godly fear.

And it's a recognition that when I'm in the presence of God, I need to shut up and He needs to speak. Now, do you remember Elihu? He kept his silence until Eliphaz and Bildad and Zophar had with Abe.

have to say what they have to say because they were older than he. And so he's showing respect for superior age, wisdom, and judgment. And when they were all done, then he said, but until they were done, he didn't speak.

And in the same way, when we stand in the presence of God, if he's all done speaking, then then maybe we might respond with some worship and some praise some gratitude and thankfulness but as long as god is speaking silence be fixed up and so speak lord for thy service hear us and then we quiet down and we listen so kevin thanks for pointing that out i just want to talk a little bit about chapter 40 and verse 15 and following Verse 15 says, "Behold now Behemoth, which I made with thee, heated grass as an ox. And lo, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moves his tail like a cedar.

The sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are strong as pieces of brass, his bones like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God.

He that made him can make his sword approach unto him. The mountains bring forth food, and all the beasts feel play. He lies under the shady trees in the cover of the reed and the ferns.

The shady trees cover him with their shadow, and the willows and the brook compass him about. Behold, he drinks up a river. An ace has gnawed to trust us that he can drop Jordan into his mouth.

He takeeth it with a dive, and his nose pierceth and shrinks clear. So what we have here is a description of a phenomenally powerful beast that only God is able to bring his sword against. And many Bible scholars believe this is a description of a dinosaur.

these huge animals that roam the earth alongside and in the presence of men. And of course there was an extinction event that caused them to pass off the scene, but the fact that they existed is abundantly clear. from the fossil record that we have.

And in fact, the other thing that's interesting is that they have found actual tissue from these dinosaurs so they didn't die that long ago, and not certainly millions and millions of years ago. And so This is a reference in the Bible of a dinosaur. You know, a lot of people say, "Well, you know, when did the dinosaurs occur?

Where are they in the Bible?" Well, here's where they are. So the behemoth here is a reference to, I believe, the dinosaurs. All right.

It's certainly not like your home base as far as strength as well as, of course, the audio quality. I take it you have a headset that I think it helps quite a bit if you do. Well, I'm looking from what I have studied.

The books are telling me that the whirlwind or the storm, the Hebrews use the same word in Job for the apparent storm. of the chariot that comes and takes Elijah up, you know, the sweet chariot, a swing-low sweet chariot. And, of course, that's after Elijah's depression.

So God shows up. in this chariot experience, and the same word is used for a storm or a whirlwind. And I was just reading another author here.

He says, no longer does Job seem beaten or dejected. He glows with undisguised excitement. He is wrapped in profound attention as the miracle of God's speaking continues.

Hope is not cut off. new vistas of life and promise open before his wandering eyes as the sublime voice with a capital V sublime voice again speaking became kind and but firm, a mild reprimand. But that tie in between the same Hebrew word, and I kind of said to challenge Kevin to look that up, but the Hebrew word for storm or whirlwind is to describe God rescuing Elijah from when he's taken to heaven.

So that kind of added a dimension for me, the sweet little chariot that comes over. Roger, thank you so much for that comment. I'm not sure that I would agree with the assessment of Job being excited here.

I mean, I'm sure he's awestruck. But, yeah, when it says here in chapter 38 and verse 1, then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, and that's the same whirlwind that came and picked up Elijah and took him to heaven without him dying here on the face of the earth. He was immediately glorified.

That's interesting that God would appear in the same... faction and Elijah was taken up into heaven. As far as that Job's attitude here goes, it seems to me more one of awe and even some shame.

He says of himself that "I am vile." He says in chapter 42 and verse 6, "I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes." That doesn't sound like somebody that's excited and filled with glee and joy at a new revelation, but rather somebody that's filled with humility and contrition over the fact that he thought that he was in a position to argue with God and question God's justice and call God to account. And what he sees now is that was completely inappropriate for him to have that disposition and that attitude. All right, we are clear out of time.

All right, let's go to the Lord in prayer. Our kind and gracious Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for this passage, for this individual Job. and for the lessons that we have to learn from him.

Father, we thank you for showing up and speaking and providing perspective on all that is going on here in the life of Job. Father, we just pray that we would have humility, we would have contrition, that we would have worship, that we would have fear at all of who you are and what you've accomplished. Father, we look at the natural creation.

Lord, we see that you are infinitely wise and infinitely powerful, and that you have made things that are beyond human comprehension. And therefore, the natural creation is a glorious revelation of who you are. of your divinity, of your power, of your wisdom.

And then, Norton, we see the way you manage creation with all the weather, how you feed the animals, how you make the whole ecosystem interact together so that it all works beautifully. Our fathers thank you for that. And then even creating the dinosaurs, fathers.

You are the God of grace and patience. Thank you for being that kind of a God to us. And Father, we do bow before you in humility.

We bow before you in worship. And we bow before you in gratitude. Father, thank you for being such a God to us.

And send your son, Jesus Christ. in order to die for our sins and provide us with redemption and reconciliation and forgiveness and eternal life and adoption and entrance into heaven. Father, thank you for tipping so low to pick us up from so far down and bring us up into the heavenly places to be seated with you for all eternity.

And now, Father, we want to bring before you our request, knowing that you are a great God, that you have given us great promises, that if we call upon you in a day of trouble, you will deliver us, and we will glorify you. - So Father, we just want to call upon you today to heal Glenn KJ7-0W of his broken neck. And Father, his wife Vicki has a hurting issue in operation.

I pray, Lord, that that will come to pass sooner rather than later. We pray for Candy and May who are now ministering to the deaf. Lord, we pray that you would give them strength, that you would give them health, that you would give them spiritual wisdom and skill.

May the Spirit of God have and own the teaching that they bring to these deaf kids. And Lord, we pray for the salvation of all of them. Pardon me.

just want to thank you that george k2 kjx his wife too had her thyroid surgery she's home now recovering lord i pray that she would bring a grand and great outcome from this surgery father may she be able to go on with life normally and father made her doctors be able to administer the thyroid replacement hormones in just the right level so that father her functions are all normal father i just want to continue to pray for my pastor jeff black who has severe ulcerative colitis or to just ask that you would heal him Father, he's in a desperate state of affairs. Lord, he's not getting the treatment that he needs. Lord, I pray that the VA would step up to the plate and provide him with the infusions that he needs for this next step of his treatment.

Father, we just want to pray for Jerry KG6J's Supervisor Rochelle, Father Rochelle has a cancer that is not going away, but it is being held in check with these chemo treatments. And as Rochelle goes today to get her chemo treatment, Father, I just want to say thank pray that he would be effective in restraining the growth and progress of his future and as she travels to UC Stanford today father I just pray that he would keep her safe as she travels and Lord I pray that she and her husband would have good fellowship together and I pray that this time of stress would draw them to each other and draw them to you give Jerry a the wisdom and skill in ministering the Word of God to Rochelle and bringing the comforts of the gospel to you. Father, we just thank you so much for Doc W6RLJ.

We pray that you continue to heal him and his kidney. We pray that the doctors would have wisdom in figuring out what his problem is. Father, I just pray that he would be able to come home and he would be able to recover and even return to his ministry there in Fiji.

Lord, I pray that that dental clinic would be established. Father, we just want to thank you for Brother Wilk's camp. I just pray, Lord, that you would keep this slow-growing cancer in check and, Lord, may he not have any problems.

I pray that you would heal Sherry. Lord, these three need your healing hand on them and have mercy there. Father, we continue to pray for healing and for first salvation.

Lord, I pray that you would just draw her to Christ. which would cause her to read the scriptures and forget those things that are behind and move on towards those things that she already has. To continue to pray for us, Father, her little stability, the development of her social skills and the deliverance of false theological beliefs stand for his salvation.

Father, I pray that according to your will, that Roger and Darlene would continue to be able to have ministry to honor. And then, Father, we just pray for Carol, KK7 TTO, her son-in-law, Chris, KL5SC, who had his back surgery put off. to a later date.

Father, I pray when that time comes that it would be successful and that he would be free from pain and that all those problems he has in his past would be resolved through that surgery. Father, I just continue to pray for Alice, Carol's great-granddaughter that you would protect her from a godly influence in her home and thank for her salvation. Lord, we thank you that she has experienced approved child custody arrangement.

You know, Lord, we just want to thank you for this Bible study, all that participated. Lord, I pray that your blessing would be on me as I teach today and tomorrow. Over. yeah he's just using the local mic on his pc and you're gonna hear that kind of stuff but uh obviously this is the first time we've ever tried this and uh and the fact that he wasn't planning on using a pc makes perfect sense oh everybody heard him just fine but yeah a little bit of echo but uh no problem roger it's just that uh we're so spoiled with the intimacy that his audio has and I where is the signal coming from that I'm hearing over okay so there's a flex radio I'm on right now in Rockland California Mac is logging into my transceiver my flex transceiver here through the internet and he's operating it from New Jersey, over. Okay, could you repeat that again?

I'm not actually hearing the off-air signal like I normally hear, Max, over. Yeah, Max is not in Oregon. He's obviously in New Jersey.

So instead of transmitting from Oregon, he's transmitting from California through our remote station that we have set up here. And that's why the signal is different, Glenn. Yes, okay.

Yeah, it's much, much weaker for us up here in the northwest. in the northwest, over. Yeah, that's correct, and that's what I would expect.

That's just a propagation thing. But we do have a remote station also in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, which we're going to be experimenting with pretty quick. And that has a 600-foot loop and 2kW transmit power.

We'll probably get him set up on that, too. And you guys would hear him a lot better. That's why we use the SDRs.

So we're just kind of... Checking this out to find out what works the best, but when he's gone, now he's got a way to get in here and run the net. Roger.

Yeah. Well, it's, yeah, and I think having the microphone closer to his mouth will really be helpful, all right? Oh, no question.

No question. And next time we pull this off, that's what he's going to do. So he originally brought out what's called a Maestro, which is like a remote control head that uses a regular microphone.

But with the Internet that he had at the hotel, it did not work well. So we had to revert over to his PC, which he was not planning on. So does that make sense?

Oh, yeah. Right. Yeah.

Just the room op ambience is, you know, he's just not like he's at home. But I guess, yeah, I guess it's a substitute for, you know, getting out all over the place and still hanging in. But, yeah, we'll look forward to your signal.

Your signal is really pretty good. Now, when you're transmitting directly, where is your home, Jeff? I'm sitting in Rockland, California, actually at the location of the remote.

This remote, the way it's set up, allows for Max and I both to log in and either one of us can talk through the remote. So I'm talking on exactly the same radio that you were hearing Max on, although I am using a local microphone here. Over.

Yes, that station up there is unbelievable. It belongs to a friend of mine, KT6TT. And we've been setting it up for about a year.

We've been working on this setup for about a year also, and we finally got full legal power on both ends. And so at Coeur d'Alene, it's an unbelievable location. And we went up there, and we had a tree climber go up and climb these 125, 150-foot pine trees.

limbed them all the way almost to the top and strong a, I think we're using number 10 wire with pulleys and everything up there. And we got that running probably two months ago. And you talk about working the world.

that crazy antenna, you can talk to anybody anywhere. Oh yeah, I'm excited to hear it, can't wait. And uh, yeah, sounds like lots of fun to do.

And uh, great success I wish for you and all your antennas. Yeah, all good.
