All right. The net would like to acknowledge Will. Kilo Mike 5 Foxtrot.

Good morning, Will. I see you show up there on the Utah SDR. How are you doing?

KM5F, I'm doing fine. I just barely pressed the button on the SDR. No new prayer requests.

KM5F. Alright Will, real good. Thank you for being there.

Copy no new prayer requests. Okay, any other check-ins, please come down. KE7WKI Brian, KE7ZIP, haven't heard from you in a while brother.

Good to have you here. How you doing? Yeah, copy that.

So, man, that's been a long-running sinus infection or ear infection or whatever you want to call it. That thing's been hanging on, hasn't it? Yeah, we've actually got there a couple of times.

There seems to be more of those than in 15, more than what this is. So, we've got some more of those things. Yeah, copy that.

How's Jay doing with his cave-over? Yeah, copy that. Okay, real good.

So, Al, KJ7QQH, this is Brian K7ZIP on the horn here, and we've been praying for a while for his ear infection. It's better, but he's still lingering, so let's continue to pray that that will clean up. That's Brian K87ZIP and ear infection cleanup.

And then his good friend Jay has had chemo for cancer over the last many months, and he's completed that chemo now, and he's slated for radiation in October. Let's pray that the chemo continues to do what it needs to do and then that the radiation will be effective in eradicating his cancer. Copy there, Al.

Good copy. And that was the sinus infection and the ear infection ones? Yeah, that's correct.

Ear infection, that's correct, for Bryan KU7ZIP. Keep talking, man. Yeah, thank you for that.

Yep. All right, Brian, thanks for being here. Really, really haven't missed you.

Okay, any other check-ins? Please come now. KE7, WKI.

Okay, I got Kilo 7, November Echo, Brasco, and that is our good friend Keith. Keith, how are you doing? Okay, no prayer requests.

There may have been a double there. Another station, please try again. KV7, WKI.

Okay, can I get a relay from somebody on that station? Have him try again. I heard WKI.

Say again, please. I heard WKI, the last three on the call. Okay, copy that.

That's our good friend Dave. Dave, let me pick you up on the Utah SPR. Dave, KE7WKI, come again.

Good morning, everyone. KE7WKI, no prairie cliff. Okay, Dave, I got an excellent copy on you on the Utah SDR.

You said, good morning, everyone. No prayer request. Copy that.

Dave, thank you for being there. Appreciate you joining us at the West Coast Bible Study. All right, that is Dave W.

Pardon me, KE7WKI. All right, any other check-ins, please come down. WB7ZL, nice band.

All right, Roger, I'm glad you think it's a nice band. I've had a little struggle on my end from some of our good friends here. But we're persevering and I'm bouncing back and forth between the various SDRs trying to pick folks up.

Got a good relay there from Beck. We are getting it figured out. Roger, good to have you with us.

Any prairie quests onward? Well, I just praise the Lord that we have a beautiful day for... graduation weekend here at Walla Walla University and had some tremendous, particularly wonderful music recitals from music majors just astounding.

So I'm still kind of amazed what God can do through a human being. So anyway, we're just praising God. Yeah, I heard the stations myself down there.

I think it was Dave. Very nice, over. Yeah, real good.

Okay, yep. So anyway, appreciate you being there, and we need you to do some reading for us today, Job Chapter 29. Job 29 there.

Roger, over. Roger. Okay, real good.

All right, this is WB7MAX looking for check-ins. Please come down with your comfort. All right, hearing nothing, we're going to get started with our Bible study today.

Let me just look over... The SDR is here one last time before we get started. There's Kevin, KB7ZX in on the SDR.

Kevin, are you in your microphone? Go ahead. All right, negative on that.

We're going to check in Kevin, KB7ZX in by way of relay from the Utah SDR, Kevin. We got you checked in. Thank you for being there.

All right, let's see. Who else do we have? I think, let's see.

Yeah, I think we got everyone that is on the SDR. All right, we're going to get started with our Bible study today. And we're going to be looking at Job chapter 28 and 29.

And before we do that, we want to open our time together in prayer. Ed in 6XOH, could you please open in prayer for us today? Sure, let's bow our heads.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you this morning. We ask that you bless our Bible study as we... learn more about you, Lord, the things that we read in the Bible and we're studying.

We just have the blessing on the people that are reading today that we have clear signals that everybody can hear watch over pastor max as he leads out and just give him guidance and wisdom bless each person here lord it's so important that we be able to read your words and to be able to learn more about you. And just ask that we all be ready when we come to take us home, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen, Ed. Thank you so much for that prayer.

All right, the net would like to acknowledge Gene K7GWR. Gene, see you there on Utah SDR. Appreciate you being there.

All right, Gene K7GWR. Alright, let's get started with our Bible reading today. We are in Job chapter 28 and 29, and in this section we have an extended final response of Job to his three friends.

So Job's answer covers six chapters, 26 to 31. And so what we're doing is we're taking Job's answers in chunks. And yesterday we looked at two chapters of his answer, and today we'll be looking at two chapters, and God willing tomorrow, two chapters, and then we will be done with this between Job and Eliphaz and Zophar and Bildad.

So these three friends showed up to comfort him. We see they did anything but comfort him. And he has continued to maintain his innocence.

And so he is being very clear about the fact that his sins did not cause this trauma and this tragedy that he is experiencing. Yesterday in chapter 27 and verses 5 and 6, he says, God forbid that I should justify you until I die. I will not remove my integrity from me.

My righteousness I hold fast and will not let it go. My heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. And so they're saying you have some hidden sin or you have some hypocrisy.

God is punishing you for that. And if you would just repent, this punishment in this chapter is what would be lifted. And Job is saying that's not true.

There has to be another explanation. Well... he is continuing to assert that and that's what we're reading about when he's done a fourth person is going to show up by the name of Elihu in chapter 32 through chapter 37 and he's going to offer a completely different explanation for what is going on in this situation we're going to find that to be very helpful to us and also to Job All right, well, this is WB7MX, and we're going to do some reading now.

So, Pat, if you could read for us Job chapter 28, and then Roger, WB7VZO, over to you to chapter 29. Pat, go ahead, please. Alpha Alpha 5 Yankee, reading from the New King James Version, Job's Discourse on Wisdom.

28. Surely there is a mine for silver and a place where gold is refined. 28.

Iron is taken from the earth, and copper is smelted from ore. Man puts an end to darkness and searches every recess for ore in the darkness and the shadow of death. He breaks open the shafts away from people in places forgotten by feet.

They hang far away from men; they swing to and fro. As for the earth, from it comes bread, but underneath it is turned up as by fire. its stones are the source of sapphires and it contains gold dust the path no bird knows nor the falcon sees in it or falcons I seen it the proud lions have not trodden it nor has the fierce lion passed over it.

He puts his hand on the flint, he overturns the mountains at the roots, he cuts out channels in the rocks, and his eye sees every precious thing. He dams up the streams from trickling, what is hidden he brings forth to the light. Verse 12.

But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Man does not know its value, nor is it found in the land of the living.

The deep says, it's not me. And the sea says, it's not me. It cannot be purchased for gold, nor can silver be weighed for its price.

It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, in precious onyx or sapphire. Neither gold nor crystal can equal it, nor can it be exchanged for jewelry or fine gold. No mention shall be made of coral or quartz, for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, nor can it be valued in pure gold. 20. For where then does wisdom come, and where is the place of understanding?

It is hidden from the eyes of all the living and concealed from the birds of the air. Destruction and death say, we have heard and report about it with our ears. God understands its way and knows its place.

For He looks at the ends of the earth and sees under the whole heavens, to establish a weight for the wind and apportion the waters by measure. When he made a law for the rain and the path for the thunderbolt, then he saw wisdom and declared it. He prepared it.

Indeed, he searched it out. And to man he said, Behold the fear of the Lord. This is wisdom.

And to depart from evil is understanding. Alpha Alpha Phi Yankee, over to you, Roger. wb7zl reading chapter 9 from the new american standard bible and job again took up his discourse and said oh that I were as in months gone by as in the days when God watched over me, when His lamp shone over my head, and by His light I walked through darkness, as I was in the prime of my days, when the friendship of God was over my tent, when the Almighty was yet with me and my children were around me, when my steps, were bathed in butter, and the rock poured out for me streams of oil.

When I went out to the gate of the city, when I took my seat in the square, the young men saw me and hid themselves, and the old men arose and stood. The princes stopped talking and put their hands on their mouths. The voice of the nobles were hushed, and their tongues stuck to their palate.

For when the ear heard, it called me blessed, and when the eye saw, it gave witness of me. because I delivered the poor who cried for help and the orphan who had no helper. The blessing of the one ready to perish came upon me, and I made the widow's heart sing for joy.

I put on righteousness, and it clothed me. My justice was like a robe and a turban. I was eyes to the blind." and feet to the lame.

I was a father to the needy. And I investigated the case which I did not know, and I broke the jaws of the wicked, and snatched the prey from his teeth. Then I thought, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand.

My root is spread out to the waters, and dew lies all night on my branch. My glory is ever new to me, and my bow is renewed in my hand. To me, they listened and waited.

and kept silent from my counsel. After my words, they did not speak again, and my speech dropped on them. And they waited for me as for rain, and opened their mouths as for the spring rain.

I smiled on them. When they did not believe, and the light of my face they did not cast down, I chose a way for them, and sat as chief, and dwelt as a king among the troops, as one who comforted the mourners. It sounds like the vision of our Lord before he became part of this dark old world.

Max, over. Yes. Roger, thank you for that insight.

Yeah, I want you to develop that as time goes on in our discussion. But great reading, Beck, and great reading, Roger. Thank you for that.

All right, any comments on these two chapters? Please come down with your call sign. KB7, is that extended?

KB7ZX in, there is Kevin. Good morning, Kevin. Got you checked in.

Go ahead with your comment. Well, good morning, all. Sorry, a little late, just waiting for the coffee here.

But let's I didn't find it in the chapter of wisdom, but it truly is. And what Job captures it in kind of in a beautiful Hebrew-style poetry, if you will, or ancient-style poetry. But, you know, it's like the age-old thing.

You know, you can look for—if you look for something and you look throughout the universe and you can't find it, and you could look for wisdom throughout the universe, kind of what it's pointing to. You know, we've—the accomplishments of man to be able to dig out gold and silver and metals of industrial use out of the earth, beautiful gems out of the earth, and all that we can accomplish, you still can dig up the whole earth and not find... wisdom but and you can search out you can contemplate it but you know job conclusion here is spot-on a powerful big biblical principle that we still stand on today and that is the wisdom is found in the fear of the Lord And our understanding comes from turning away from the evil.

And it's just such, so I think powerfully expressed here in this chapter 28. KB7, is that acceptable? Yeah, Kevin, you identified the substance of chapter 28 really well.

Yeah, verse 2 of chapter 28 says, let's see, am I in the right chapter here? Yeah, okay. It says, iron is taken out of the earth and brass is molten out of the stones.

And so there's a long discourse here about how people mine and how they pull things out of the earth and how much work they go to and how they dig deep down under the ground. And then it's like, okay, well, if you're going to go to all that work to find silver and gold and iron and, all of those things through diligent efforts at mining and working hard and seeking, how much more wisdom? And in verse 23, it says in this chapter that wisdom is to be found with God.

and it's not to be found with man. And so it's really important for us to understand that if we're going to look for gold and silver, yeah, you dig through the earth for it, but if you're going to find wisdom, you're going to find that with God. All right, verse 12, where shall wisdom be found and where is the place of understanding?

verse 23 God understandeth the way thereof he knoweth the place thereof so if we're going to get wisdom we've got to get it from God it reminds me of that verse in Proverbs chapter 2 and verse 6 the Lord giveth wisdom out of his mouth for his knowledge and understanding and so God is the repository of wisdom You have to work hard to get it from him. It says in Proverbs chapter 2, So, yeah, Kevin, just like you don't find gold and silver laying on top of the ground... You don't find wisdom through shallow efforts.

It's only through the diligent effort of listening to the Lord, learning from the Lord, and searching the scriptures that we finally acquire wisdom. And that was the problem with these guys, is that they hadn't worked hard enough to learn wisdom and obtain it. And so as a result, they didn't have much, and what they had was wrongly applied.

All right, great, great comments there, Kevin. Thank you. Other comments, please come down.

Roger, please go ahead. Yeah, I'm looking at another proverb that was referred to in the last part of 26, chapter 26. It's Proverbs 9:10: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Robert?

Yeah, well said. And so, God is the source of wisdom. And if we fear God, that is, we have respect and reverence for Him, then we're going to be looking to Him for that wisdom, and we're going to be embracing the wisdom that He offers us, even though it's contrary to the wisdom of man.

You know, intuitively, we would think wisdom would be one thing. But when we read the scriptures, we realize, oh, it's something else. And that's because the wisdom of God is foolishness to man, and the wisdom of man is foolishness to God.

And so we don't find wisdom in the university. We don't find it in politics. We don't find it in the entertainment industry.

We find wisdom in God's Word and from God. And to the extent that others echo what the Bible says, they are wise. And to the extent they contradict it, they are foolish.

So we have to recognize God as the source of wisdom, and then we have to work hard and dig deep into the scriptures in order to learn that wisdom from him. And so the Bible is kind of like a mind. And we have to go into it and gather jewels of gold and silver and precious stones.

And as we do, then we walk in wisdom, especially towards those that are without, to redeeming the time, as it says in Colossians. Roger, good comment. Thank you for that.

All right, Danette would like to acknowledge Carol KK7TPO. And, Carol, you did what I often do, and that is that you didn't lift the shift off when you hit the 7 and you got an ampersand there. I've done that so many times, it's ridiculous.

Carol, thank you for being there. Love you, girl. All right, any other check-ins or comments, please come down.

Is that X-ray? Is that X-ray? Go ahead.

Can I just do a brief comment, and then I'm going to go see if my coffee's ready. I'll be back. But, you know, the book of James also speaks to this, and he begins his book.

book with the trials and tribulations if you're going through and don't be afraid to ask God for wisdom and as I reflect on the book of James I think much of it he had Job in his mind and thoughts as he pinned that out, the Holy Spirit, I think, made connections to the two because he was really addressing, in part, the suffering that the Jerusalem church was dealing with, the attacks, the tribulation. They were really struggling. you know, loss of employment, persecution, arrest, you know, all kinds of difficulties.

James points to, you know, things of principles that Jolt brings out. And among these, connecting the trials and tribulations to wisdom. Also, he later talks of suffering.

He also talks, I think, one of the wisdoms that James brings out from Job is the wisdom of faith, of trusting God. And we see that exemplified. You know, James makes the point, faith without works is dead, and I'll show you my faith by my works.

Well, the works that Job certainly demonstrates... is his trust, his faith in God, and through the trials and tribulations. And I think James makes that point as well.

KB7, is that acceptable? Yeah, amen. There's nothing like trials to teach us wisdom and to drive us to God's Word to find wisdom.

And, you know, that's why I think James says in chapter 1, count it all joy, my brethren, when ye follow the various kinds of trials, knowing that the trying of your faith works patiently. And so we learn patience as we learn the wisdom of God and how to view the providential circumstances we find ourselves in, especially the difficult ones. And so there's nothing like suffering to drive us to the Scriptures, to drive us to the cross, to drive us to the throne of grace in prayer.

And in that context is where we find our wisdom from God. And because this is where we have the greatest humility, you know. Where we're suffering, we have humility.

Lord, help me. I'm helpless. And God gives grace to the humble.

And part of that grace he gives is the impartation of wisdom and understanding about how they should view their providential circumstances and what God's word has to say about it. All right, Carol, thanks for fixing your call sign there. All right, any other check-ins or comments, please come now.

WB7VZL Roger, please go ahead Well, since James was brought up and thank you, Kevin and I'm thinking of probably what is known in the scriptures the wisest man in the world and his search for wisdom but he asked for it he asked god as james implies and in fact explicitly says and when he was the new king god said what do you want anything you want and he prayed for wisdom. So I think that's kind of where James got his thoughts. And I'm just thinking of the famous passage when we were reading that passage.

It says, in Ecclesiastes chapter 12 and verse 13. The conclusion of all his... Ecclesiastes is the story of his search for joy and pleasure, but the conclusion, when all has been heard, is...

fear God and keep his commandments because this applies to every person. The common denominator, the bottom line, Max, all right? Yes, it sure is, Roger, and thank you for making that connection.

and for that comment. Well said. All right, so now we'd like to acknowledge Brian, KJ7PWM.

Good morning, Brian. See you there on the Utah STR. Thanks for being with us.

All right, any other comments? Please come down to your call phone. 5 Yankee.

5 Yankee. Please go ahead, back. Yeah, I haven't asked a question for a long time, so I think it's time.

I've been patient. On verse 26 in Job 28, it says, When he made a law for the rain, is that reference to when God flooded the earth? It is not.

It just has to do with the way He manages the weather. It says in verse 26, "When He made a decree for the rain and a way for the lightning of the thunder." And so what Job is talking about here is how God manages the weather. It's not a direct reference to the flood at all.

Go ahead. Okay. I'm just guessing here.

I thought maybe it was part of his promise. Thank you, Pastor Mack. Southbound from Five Yankee.

Yeah, real good. Thank you, Bet. Appreciate the question.

Good question. All right. Any other comments on these two chapters?

Please come down to your call sign. that would be seven views at all roger please go ahead well chapter 29 is a great reminiscing to the good days of the past. And in a sense, it's metaphorical to aging, the days of youth.

And, you know, when you go to the gym You see young people here, and you just are amazed what they can do, and the bar is high. Well, I mean, it's kind of like going to the gym when you're 75 years old. And, oh, my, the difference.

And what I love about Joe is that he was thoroughly thrilled about participating with God in the sharing his resources with those that didn't have the resources that they needed in life. What a joy. For example, I made the widow's heart sing for joy.

He enjoyed putting on righteousness in verse 14. And my justice was like a robe and a turban. I was eyes to the blind.

You know, all these marvelous outreaches. But then, you know, I mentioned the incredible parallel between the joy that God gets in sharing the rain for example you know like a few minutes ago so I really was thrilled about how the divinity of our Lord Jesus and the joy that he distributed upon the earth and then to go down into this planet and know the limits, the tremendous limits. It's kind of like Jesus says, I need to go.

I need to go back to Heaven because I can't get anywhere at once. There was a level of frustration. I need to send the Holy Spirit to you guys down here, Elvis.

Yeah, that's for sure. And, you know, Chapter 29... is certainly a foreshadowing, a declaration of who Jesus is like, how he deals with people, the kindness and goodness he shows.

And as you said, not only in coming himself, but then in sending the Spirit. But moving back from that foreshadowing, which is true and well said, um You know, what Job is really saying here is look at my past reputation. Look at my past conduct.

That should tell you something about who I am in the present and how I have behaved up to this moment. You know, in verse 2, he says, Oh, that I were as in months past as in the days when God preserved me. And then he describes who he was.

how he behaved. And this is a direct answer to the false accusations that are made against him in chapter 22 by Eliphaz. If you look back at chapter 22, Eliphaz says of Job in verse 5, Is not thy wickedness great and thy iniquities infinite?

For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nothing. and stripped the naked of their clothing. Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink.

Thou hast withholden bread from the hungry. But as for the mighty man, he had the earth, and the honorable man dwelt in it. Thou hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless you have broken.

And so he makes these horrible accusations against Job in chapter 22, verses 5 through 9. And Job answers that here in chapter 29, and he says, I behave the exact opposite of what you are accusing me of. And how often it was that Jesus was falsely accused, a glutton and a winebibber, of someone who's demon-possessed.

born of fornication, all these terrible things that were said about him. And of course the exact opposite of those things are true. And it is the nature of Satan's slanders against his people, and of course against our Savior, that they say the things that are not true at all, in fact, are past behavior.

and our past reputation put the lie to that and demonstrate how false it is. So I appreciate the way Job here is defending himself. A lot of people would say, oh, Job's bragging on himself.

He's not bragging on himself. He's just telling the facts about who he was, how he was viewed, the wisdom he had, the generosity that he showed, the kindness and the reputation he possessed. And he could say all this with a clear conscience.

You know, I remember somebody talking about Bay Bruce, the great home run hitter, right? I think he had 714 home runs in his career. And he was called the "Sultan of Swat." Great, great batter.

In any event, someone came up to him one time and said, "You know, you talk a lot about your ability to hit home runs. It sounds like to me you're just bragging on yourself." His response was, "It ain't bragging if you can do it." And Job wasn't bragging here. It's what he did.

And so it's fine to stand up and say, I have been righteous in this situation. I have done the proper thing in spite of the negative aspersions people are casting on me for what I've done. My own conscience bears witness to my integrity.

The facts bear witness to my integrity. And the scripture bears witness to my integrity in that. I've conformed to its principles.

So, when you've done right, it's fine to stand up and say you've done right. And that's what Job's doing here. Alright, any other comments on this section?

Please come down to call me. KB7 ZXN. KB7 ZXN.

Kevin, please go ahead. Well, KB7 ZXN, well, I'm going to go a little different direction with it. And I mentioned that a couple of times, an article that I'd written recently and a good part of the first part of the focus of this article, and I think this chapter reinforces that, is that I think the language that Job uses to reflect upon his past is really language of royalty, a regal kind of expression of his past.

The Hebrews and the early church fathers most believed that Job was a king, was royalty. And one of the things that points to this, too, is in the Septuagint, There's an appendix to it, if you will, that highlights this, that is not part of the, per se, inspired text, but it's expressed as part of the tradition. Septuagint probably written about 250 BC, probably the earliest 300 BC.

But nevertheless, it expresses the lineage of Job as being Jobab. fifth generation from Abraham through the line of Esau. And there's a lot of things that match this, but some of the most compelling evidence, I believe, is in the text itself.

In Job 1, we see that there was no man like unto Job... We see the possessions he had, and the great wealth really was expressive of a king, a royal treasure, if you will, and blessing. But here, if you picture him as a king and how he blessed, he ruled with honor.

The people gave him reverence. even the noblemen gave him reverence uh he he he ruled justly and he helped those that were vulnerable the the widows and the in the blind and and those that uh were without but he I THINK HERE IT ALSO REINFORCES THAT BUT NEVERTHELESS I THINK THE POINT THAT YOU MAKE ROGER IS SPOT ON BECAUSE I THINK WE WHAT WE HAVE IS THE TYPE OF THE KING OF CHRIST WE SEE THAT HE REALLY IS REPRESENTING THE SUFFERING AND THE STATUS OF THE KING OF CHRIST WHO EMPTYED HIMSELF AND SUFFERED ON OUR BEHALF AND THIS IS THE OTHER SIDE OF SUFFERING THAT THE THOSE of his friends have completely missed is there is a side of suffering that is connected to human life that is connected to royalty that is our Lord and Savior King of Kings Lord of Lords but there also is a suffering that is rewarded with multi-fold blessing for faithfulness which we will see fulfilled in Job and of course in our Lord and Savior. So I think you're spot on the typology.

But I make the argument that I do believe, and I lay that out in the article on discovertheword.net, that Job really was a king. And I believe this is what explains his knowledge and his understanding of the... the patriarchal passing down of faith and of worship of God, of making sacrifices, and of the principles that even his friends tried to, they understood to some extent, but misapplied.

So anyway, be that as it may, he's clearly speaking in kingly terms here, and chapter 29 as you point out Roger, KB7 ZXX Yeah Kevin who lost that and you know the parallels between Job and Christ are great you know here's a righteous man who is faithful to God. Jesus was righteous and faithful to God. Here's one that's suffering, not for his own sins, but for the sins of others.

And here's one who's falsely accused, as Jesus was. Here's one who is a king, like Jesus was. Here's an innocent man who is being, as it were, crucified by his friends and falsely accused.

So, yes, tremendous parallels. Thank you, Roger and Kevin, for pointing that out. And, of course, in the statement of Job about who he was and how he behaved in chapter 29, we see foreshadowing of who Jesus is and how he behaved towards us and how that...

Jesus was innocent and yet assaulted by Satan, and of course Jesus was innocent and assaulted by Satan as well. So thanks for pointing out that foreshadowing and those parallels between Job as king and Jesus as king. Job is innocent, Jesus is innocent.

Job attacked by Satan, Jesus attacked by Satan. and Job doing nothing but good to people. It says in Acts chapter 10 that Jesus went about doing good.

So, yeah, a great parallel here in good love. All right. Any final comments before we go to prayer?

Please come down to the call center. Thank you. WP7, is it Elm?

Roger, please go ahead. Well, I appreciate you pointing out the argument path as well. And the very text that you highlighted was in my parallel reference, and I had missed it, so I circled it and underlined it.

in the column of Job 22, verse 9. So it's one of those. And that was a good reminder of what he had been accused of.

Over. Yeah, I copy that. So when you're falsely accused, don't give in to that false accusation just to make peace.

Insist on justice and truth. because that's the only place true peace resides. All right, well, two grand lessons from these two chapters.

One is that we should search for wisdom as hard as men search for minerals in the earth. And where should we be mining for wisdom? But in the word of God.

because where is wisdom to be found? Well, God understands the way thereof. He knows the place thereof.

So we go to God for wisdom. And then in chapter 29, when we're looking at people and people bring accusations, one of the things we need to ask ourselves is, who has this person been in the past? What is his reputation?

And what is the reputation of his accuser? And who have they been? And a lot of times that will sort things out right up front without ever having to even delve into the facts.

When you know the reputation of the two people, there's no comparison between them. You know, you have a person who has a reputation for godliness, faithfulness, genuine humility, and then they're attacked by someone who has a reputation for, you know, not being consistent in their life. And you have to, you know, make that evaluation.

All right, real good. We are out of time, and it's time to go to prayer. And so any final prayer requests before I'll lead this in prayer, please come down.

WB720. Roger, please go ahead. You know, in light of this, and in light of our culture, and I attended last night a digital -- well, they want to -- there's a real effort to stop the building of an Amazon a gigantic digital build out in the west part of our county.

And I attended the citizens situation. You know, most people in the future are going to be looking for wisdom on AI. And I think my prayer is that may God's will be done on that, and then also may people be inspired to look...

to God for wisdom instead of AI. There's a lot of mining on smartphones. Everybody's looking down on the ground.

But I just want to pray. I was like Jesus when I come back. Will I find peace on the earth?

in Luke 18. And I think we should pray as intercessors that people know that AI is not the ultimate wisdom. So, Kitty, we've got a huge, gigantic crew, but we need the Holy Spirit to fall upon our culture.

Amen, Roger. Really well said. Thank you for pointing that out.

You know, are we going to find wisdom in artificial intelligence, or are we going to find wisdom in the Bible? And, you know, AI may be useful for looking at factual things. You know, you could ask the question, you know, what's in Clorox?

They'll give you a good answer. You know, you're not going to find the answer to that in the Bible. But what you are going to find in the Bible is wisdom for life, wisdom for relationships with God.

God and wisdom regarding what is happening in this world and how it's being governed and what the future will be and how it's all going to turn out. And AI can never quantify that. So, yeah, AI is not the ultimate final source of investment.

And what I see, Roger, in the future is people saying, oh, well, the Bible says this, but AI says that. you know, we need to trust AI and not the Bible. What foolishness.

Because all AI is, is the cumulative wisdom of myths being put together, collated, and summarized. AI doesn't come up with anything new, it can't. All it can do is take what's been said in the past and reorganize it and re-express it.

So we've got to beware of deception. I can see Satan using AI to try to contradict in people's minds the truth of the Bible because after all we have this better world. source of wisdom.

And all AI is, is the wisdom of man. And any time that that's in contradiction with the scriptures, then it's a lie of faith. So yes, when we have faith in Jesus and in his word, or are we going to have faith in a computer, in AI?

- Well said, Roger, that's a great prayer request. We as the people of God would learn from the mind of the scriptures and not from the mind of the computer vis-a-vis AI. - All right, I have a prayer request here that I want to bring to your attention.

I just got a text message from a doc, a W6RLJ. We've been praying for a doc with reference to his kidneys. He texted me just now.

He says, I'm better. The doctor report yesterday was very encouraging. However, they were keeping a close eye on me and my activities, relying on the promise in 1 John 1.9 and Romans 10.13.

1 John 1.9 says, We confess our sins, these faithful just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Romans 10.13 says, Who thirsts to call upon the name of the Lord to be saved? So, Doc has just reinforced his faith in Jesus.

I also got a text message from Will Kulick by Foxtrot. He said, AI can never provide a relationship with God or with Jesus. Will, you are so correct.

AI is just an empty voice coming from a soulless machine expressing the summary of human wisdom and therefore it's really very pathetic. Only Christ can provide us with a living relationship, and only His wisdom can lead us to end that relationship. Will, he will make five box drives.

Great call, man. Thank you for that. All right.

Any other prayer requests? Please come down. ZXN.

ZXN, go ahead, please. Yeah, I have a -- well, first, I agree on AI. it's a tool that can be used but more and more i think you're going to see lucifer using it to draw people away from god and eventually becoming a god of its own there that uh but uh i have an update on jim n7iu through the grapevine last night i learned that he I apparently got through his surgery.

He's in a recovery center somewhere and healing there. I don't know how he's doing beyond that, but at least that's positive to this point. And I just want to share that update.

And thank you so much for the prayers for him as well. KB7 is at extent. Yeah, that message from Kevin.

We've been praying for Jim in 7IU who had a tumor behind his eye. He had surgery. It was successful.

And so we need to pray for his healing. So that's Jim in 7IU, successful surgery on the tumor behind his eye. Copy, Al?

Copy. Thank you for that, brother. All right, any final prayer requests, go ahead.

All right, Al, KJ7QQH, go ahead and lead us in prayer, please. Oh, thank you Pastor Matt. Thank you for supporting everyone.

They've been very friendly, but we've got a lot of faith in you. We've been with the church, and I am pretty sure we'll have to say I sure have. But anyway, looks all come together pretty well.

And my father's baby is 30 days. And I think he's taking his time. We have the opportunity to do a few of our best and greatest things.

We start with one that does a pretty good job of smoothing outside. We have a great little thing that has a two-of-a-kind design, great for the two-seating, and we are happy to do it. We come to the table, and we feel that it's a proper welcome.

I'm sorry. ... and we have to make sure that the two healing functions have been in the right place for the healing process.

So, I hope that we are able to do a healing process that we have had before, so that we can change the healing process before we turn to the organization. So, I hope that we can change the healing process both to the organization and the organization itself. And, that's it.

I don't know. Candy in May continue on Monday and in their preparation we have you directed by them to give them safety in their traveling to on the For George, E.J., A.J., and South, White, Sue, and Starbrook, please come on March 17th to pray for the county of Harrison. Go ahead and check in the weekend.

Now change in commitment, in good timing, good reason. And for, uh, after that, we've got to, uh, we've got to plan for the next year, and ultimately, we'll watch this, and then we'll get into it. And then we'll create a new decision.

Again, for Roger, that means that we tell the training, and the team will return from alcohol and drug, - and the WSBK is a job that we've done in WSBA, and it's really, we don t have any other ability and we really appreciate the help that you've given us, and we appreciate the support that you've given us in our work and our efforts, and I'll be happy to support you in any way that you can, and we're going to do our best to create a system for all the effects of the money that we do, and we'll do our best to help you out, - I'm going to be on the other side. We are still continuing to pray for the Burnridge Christian Church and the Couch Church. They have their food and drink and they're doing their work with their important hearts.

We pray for the general election, the leadership of the congregation, to serve what those Bible passages and the deeds of the Christian Church will perform. Thank you, sir. The All of our pastors, all of our churches, each day we pray for God, for our children, and for all of our brothers and sisters.

And for our fathers, and our fathers, and our fathers and sisters. We pray for these things, and we pray for Jesus, and for our family, and for our children, and for the people of the world. One night Lord, we ask that you give us witness I'm sorry.

Al, thank you so much for those prayers. That's Al, KJ7Q2H. This is WP7MX, Matt Control for the West Coast Model Study.

I want to thank all the stations we checked in this morning and those who stood by to give us a clear operating frequency. We meet here seven days a week at 6 a.m. to read scriptures, understand their meaning message and application, and then pray for grace and mercy to be able to live out what we learn and for God to meet the needs of those that are in our circle of fellowship.

I'll be returning this frequency now to regular amateur use. This is WB7MX. We'll be clear and standing by.

Bye, Bianchi. 5 Yankee, go ahead. Okay, will you do some knock-knock jokes with me?

Yeah, go ahead. Knock-knock. Who's there?

Hutch. I see. Bless you.

Bless you who? No, bless you. You said, "Achoo!" Okay, achoo, yeah.

Achoo who? Yeah, bless you. Got it.

Okay, I got it now. Yeah, I wasn't sure what the achoo was there. if that was a word or not.

But I understand it now, Beck. Thank you for that. Appreciate that.

Thanks for playing along. I've got ten of them. I'm not going to do them all in a row.

Yeah, I copy that. Thanks, Beck. We appreciate the humor and the laugh.

All right. Any other comments? Anybody want to talk?

Go out your call sign. We're here. This is Ed Aikson.

As well as said, please go ahead. Well, thank you, Max, and thank you, Beck, for the levity each morning. It is certainly welcome.

I just wonder, Roger, if you're out here, curious how Daylene is doing. Preferably she's doing well. Alright Kevin, could you please repeat, let me get on the USYSTR so I can hear you over.

Yeah, the man's kind of falling apart on us here, KB7's at XN. I was just asking Roger, and he might not be able to hear me if he's even here. I was just curious on an update on Daylene, how she is doing there.

I've been thinking about her and praying for her through the time of her treatment and all. Yeah, copy that. Roger, WB7VDL, are you still on the net?

Please come forward. Yeah, I'm losing Kevin. Over.

Okay, he just asked how Daylene was doing with her chemotherapy, if you could give her a report please. Oh, well thank you, thank you Kevin. Yeah, Daylene seems to be actually doing quite well with the particular drug.

to drop her female hormonal levels way, way down to where they would like to have for five years. So far, she hasn't... I've complained, actually, thus far.

So the side effects are minimal. And I'm just praising God. The Lord was being able to have the privilege to share that with you.

And those, all of us who have been praying for Darlene, thank you for asking, Kevin. Back to you, Max. Yeah, Kevin, KB7ZX, were you able to copy Roger's transmission, over?

Yes, copied 100% on the Utah SDR. And Roger, that's a great report. We'll continue to pray.

You know, so many were praying for battling cancer, different types. And it's good to hear a report from Al on his son John not long ago and others. I agreed to report on Doc today, but thank you, Roger.

And we'll continue to pray for that to continue to do the work it's supposed to and perfectly move beyond that situation there. KB7, is that acceptable? Roger, WB7VZL, Kevin says thank you for the good report and that he will continue to pray and is grateful for the way God has healed others who are experiencing cancer as well.

So, Roger, WB7VZL, over to you. Oh, thank you guys. Yeah, yeah, well, she's due to be awakened.

She's a big, wonderful praise the Lord, was that she got her sleep machine mask fitted, a new mask, and it's fitted so much better and she's sleeping better. And I'm planning on playing music with her at church. And she's the organist this morning.

And we'll be playing "A Shelter in the Time of Storm" with her violin and the guitarist friend of ours and myself. we have what we call the two-sheet strings. And so, yeah, we're planning on praising the Lord with our instruments today.

I just thank you so much. reminding me how much I have been blessed by our Lord. And I pray for those that may not have those evident signs.

But, yeah, you mentioned John. It seems like he's had some close calls, and he's feeling a bit better. Is that right, Al?

Over. Roger, WB7BZ, Al said he had to leave as soon as he was done praying. He's got to cook for a men's breakfast at his church, so he's not on the band.

But yeah, the report's at this point in time for... his son John are good he's not out of the woods yet but he is the cancer has been deep back and deep down and we just need to pray that it goes completely into remission so yeah have a great day at church Good day, Roger. I'm glad that you and Darlene are going to be able to play.

Glad to hear she's sleeping better. That's good news. And really glad to hear that you guys are going to church today, that you're going to play and bear witness to the gospel.

A shelter in the time of storm. That's a wonderful hymn with wonderful words. and that's who Jesus is to us as well.

So we have that little eddy of calm in the eye of the hurricane that's all around us, and that's at the throne of grace and at the presence of Jesus. All right, Roger, we'll get WB7VZO. I'll let you go, but thank you for being there.

Kevin, KB7ZX, and thank you for being there as well. All right, anybody else want to chat? This is WB7MAX.

I'm standing by. KB7ZIP, Brian, go ahead. I'm not going to be able to make it because I'm going to a grandchild's birthday party up in Portland today.

So I wish I could be there, Brian, but I'm not going to be able to make it. Over. Good.

Yeah, copy that. Well, say hi to everybody there for me, please. and tell them I regret not being there, but appreciate all of them, and I'll be there next month.

Over. All right, real good, Brian. KA7ZIP, WB7MAX.

Any other comments, please come down. K2KJX. K2KJX, George, I just got your text message.

Go ahead. Okay, I was just going to tell you, I sent it back to surface because the band is really rough today and I can barely hear anybody. So have a great day, K2KJ.

Yeah, so understood. And appreciate you trying, George. Band condition hopefully will improve.

They've been quite decent recently, but today was kind of poor. So just hang in there, George, and we'll look for you tomorrow. All right.

Real good, George. K2KJX. All right.

Any other comments? Please come down. KG6J, if you've still got a copy.

Jerry, KG6J, I've got a copy. It's a little scratchy, but go ahead. All right.

Okay, I've thought about throwing this out there in the study, but it didn't make any sense. It occurred to me the fountains of man's wisdom are now speaking. The fountains of God's wisdom have the chance to call the material things, not just the world, but even the entire cosmos has been used, the arctic, the Manhattan telescope to make it, showing beautiful pictures of all the planets.

========== ### Scripture Reading (KJV)

<blockquote> Job 28:1-28

Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it. Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone. He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death. The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men. As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire. The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold. There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen: The lion's whelps have not discovered it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. The cock of the rock is not known by it, nor the falcon's eye viewed it: The proud beasts have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing. He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light. But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living. The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me. It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof. It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire. The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold. No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies. The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold. Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding? Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears. God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof. For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure. When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. </blockquote>

### Study Summary

The study focused on Job 28 and 29, exploring the themes of wisdom and understanding, and Job's past reputation and conduct. The passage in Job 28 describes the search for wisdom, emphasizing that it is not found in the depths of the earth or through human efforts. Instead, wisdom is a divine gift from God, as seen in Proverbs 2:6, where it is stated that God gives wisdom. The fear of the Lord, as mentioned in Proverbs 9:10, is the beginning of wisdom, and this fear is also linked to keeping God's commandments, as noted in Ecclesiastes 12:13.

Job 29 reflects on Job's past reputation and conduct, contrasting his former righteousness and integrity with the accusations made by his friends. The discussion highlighted that Job's life, despite his suffering, was characterized by righteousness and a commitment to doing good, paralleling the life of Christ, who went about doing good (Acts 10:38). This parallel underscores the idea that Job's suffering and righteousness can be seen as a type of Christ's own suffering and righteousness.

The study also touched on the importance of standing up to false accusations and maintaining integrity, emphasizing that true wisdom and understanding come from God and not from human wisdom alone. The distinction between human wisdom and divine wisdom was further illustrated by the discussion on artificial intelligence (AI), noting that while AI can be a tool, it cannot provide ultimate wisdom.

The session concluded with prayers for various needs, including those of Doc (W6RLJ), Jim (N7IU), and others, emphasizing the importance of seeking divine wisdom and understanding in all aspects of life. ==========
