Really glad I can hear Max and we'll be able to hear the reading today. The conditions are kind of rough, but anyhow, Max, no prior requests. Just, except for everybody have a blessed day and one full of joy. W7RK8. Alright, Bert, copy all. And yeah, Ben's a little rough, but I was able to pick up everything you said. And happy Resurrection Day to you. And we're going to be in John chapter 20 today, so everybody turn to that passage, John chapter 20, and we'll read through that and talk about that, because the whole chapter deals with the resurrection of Jesus. And so kind of an exciting chapter. All right, to WV7MX here, looking for check-ins, please come down to your call sign. A question? A question, go ahead. Yeah, Max, I haven't heard Scott for a few days. I pray everything's okay with him. Do you have an update? Yeah, Scott in 7NPA has decided to take a leave of absence from the West Coast Bible Study. He is checking into the Midwest Bible Study because that seems to be working better for him. So anyway, he's getting up earlier and he's checking in with the Midwest. So that's what's going on there. Hopefully he'll come back here. But for now, that's where he's at, and that's what he's doing. Back to you, Kevin. Well, very good. Well, along is all as well. And, yeah, they're a really good group of Christians there as well. So thanks for the update. KB7 is that example. All right, real good. Thank you for that, Kevin. Appreciate it. Okay, any other check-ins this morning? Please come now. AL7KG And there is Lee, AL7KG, happy Easter Lee, how are you doing? Uh, just good, uh, good luck, 53 Yeah, good, glad you're doing well Lee, we got you checked in, thank you for being there, that's Lee, AL7KG Alright, real good, any other check-ins, please come now WB7VZL And there's Roger, happy Easter Roger Thank you. Same to you. And what a beautiful day I think we have before us. We're going to be going out, handing out some loaves of bread, representing Jesus, the bread of life, and interacting with our community today. So I'd sure like to have that lifted up so that the Lord's Spirit can go ahead of us. And let's see, I had a long session finding out the other universe of Craig's new fellowship last night. He was brought into the Catholic Church. and got acquainted with the whole Hispanic world, primarily of College Place and Walla Walla. So it was quite a revelation, absolutely, and I can see where... I would think from the scripture Luther had good reasons for streamlining the ritual of service, over. Yeah, okay. Well, glad you're keeping contact with Craig. That's good. Just keep that door of communication open and over time. Hopefully you can be able to have some Bible study with him and help him out along that line. And I really appreciate that. Passing out loaves to encourage people with the message of the bread of life, the Lord Jesus. I assume you're going to have like a gospel tract that you're going to hand out along with the loaves? Are you going to go door to door? How are you going to handle that, Roger? Yeah. We're going to meet at the church at 1:00 today and then we're going to go from there. and interact with our community. We try to do this at least once or twice a year. So anyway, otherwise, you know, people are quite isolated behind their computers. But it looks like the weather is going to be quite good for getting outdoors, over. Yeah, copy that, copy that. Well, good. And it's a beautiful day here as well. Well, the sun isn't up yet, but I can see the stars, all right? So it's supposed to be a sunny day today, so praise the Lord for that. All right, Roger, we will pray about that outreach and effort, that God would put His blessing on that, and that many would come to know the bread of life, the Lord Jesus. who came down from heaven, that manna from heaven, so that we can receive him and believe in him and thereby have him inside of ourselves and in our lives. All right, real good, Roger. Thank you for that. All right, any other check-ins, please, come now. Nail, 7KG. Nail, 7KG, go ahead, Lee. Yeah, copy that, Lee. So you're looking into a business of buying and selling books, and we'll pray that God gives you wisdom and direction with reference to that. Over. Roger, thanks. And AK6, okay, good morning. Well, there he is. We pulled that fish out of the hole. Good morning there, Jeff. How are you doing? Very well. Took me a minute to get the flags up this morning, and happy Easter day, everybody. All right, well, happy Easter to you too, Jeff, and praise the Lord for that. And we continue to pray for you and your family and all the needs that are represented there. And how is Patty doing in her recovery from her eye surgery? Thank you for those prayers. She's doing fantastic. The second eye was better than the first. She's recovering super quickly. She's a hot guy now. Well, yeah, she's going to keep that good eye on you now. She's got two good eyes. Jeff, you're in trouble, brother. And his eye is on the sparrow, and I know he watches me. So God is omniscient, and now the wife is an agent. That's good, Jeff. I like that. Go ahead, brother. Yeah, do you know the problem with all this is I help clean the house once in a while. Now she's starting to see into the corners. This is not good, Max. Yeah, copy that, copy that. All right, well, praise the Lord for good eyesight and all the consequences that flow out of it. All right, Jeff, AK6OK, and Patty, we love you, girl, and hopefully you're doing well, and we'll pray for your continued healing. All right, WB7MAX here looking for check-ins. Come now. KJ7PWM. Alright, there's Brian, KJ7PWM. Good morning Brian, how are the lambs doing? Doing good. Still have a PC that she has gotten with. - Welcome to the bottom of the unit. - Great breeze, sir. - Very tight. - But the end is in sight, I think. - Well, good, I'm glad the end is in sight, and we'll just continue to pray for healthy moms and healthy babies, and for all of those sheep to have good babies. All right, Brian, KJ7 PWM, happy Easter to you, brother, and looking forward to the net together today. Okay, any other check-ins, please come down. All right, I'm going to look at my SDRs here for a minute. Gene, K7GWR, good morning. Good to have you with us. See you there in Utah. Thank you for being there. Yep, there's Phillip, K6HSV. Already got him checked in. And let's see. Ah, there's Peter, KJ7BA. Good morning, Peter. Good to have you with us as well. All right, yep, there's Kevin, there's Brian, Jim. All right, Peter says good morning to everyone. So Peter, good morning to you. Good to have you with us. Okay, let's see, what else do we have here? Looking over at Half Moon Bay, yep, there's Peter again. We've got KD7ES, that's Eric. Eric, good to have you with us there on the Half Moon Bay SDR, K7 -- pardon me, KD7ES. Good. All right. And Eric, any time you want to key up and talk, if you can, if you have a radio, we'd be glad to talk with you by voice. But we do see you there on the Half Moon Bay SDR. Appreciate you being there, brother. Okay, any other check-ins, please come now. Okay, WB7MAX here, Net Control for the West Coast Bible Study. We are going to get started with our Bible study. And of course, as you all know, today is Resurrection Sunday. We celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus and His deliverance from the hold of death because He fully atoned for sins. And so in His resurrection is the hope and the promise and the certainty of our resurrection. And I was just sharing with Pete, W6NOX, this morning, Revelation chapter 1 and verse 5. And it says, And washed us in His blood. to see, I'm trying to quote it here. Oh, here it is, right. Okay, it says, And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness and the first begotten from the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth, and the one that loved us and washed us through our sins in his own blood. So yeah, wonderful verse there, Revelation 1, 5. that summarizes the fact that Jesus was a faithful witness. He was the first begotten from the dead, which means there's many more to come. And so anyway, great passage. All right, we want to open our time in prayer, and then we'll start reading the Scripture. We're in John chapter 20 today. We're going to be reading the whole chapter, hopefully in pieces. So let's go through that. together. Before we do, we want to open in prayer. And so, Beck, Alpha Alpha 5 Yankee, could you please open a prayer for us today? Sure, Pastor Beck. Let us bow our heads. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this blessed day. We appreciate the fact that you gave your life for us. and to save us from our sins. And we are acknowledging that, not only with our worship for you, but on a special day today that's set aside just for you for this specific reason. We pray that the others that are here enjoy one another's company and we all learn from the lessons that we are going to share, the words that we are going to read, and from the... people that put forth their knowledge and experience and information, that we can grow from that and attain wisdom that's needed to make it to heaven, to be with you. We especially pray for those that don't have radios out there, that want to be a part of our group and are a part of our brotherhood. Even though they can't key down, they can always do an email or do a text with the text to Pastor Max directly. And we appreciate the fact that you've given us all these different avenues that we can communicate with one another to share your word. We pray that everyone that wished to be a part of the net is here, and those that are not here for whatever reason, come back, because we love all of you, and we want to share our wisdom, love, and caring for one another in this special day today. As we pray in Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Amen. Beck, thank you so much for that prayer. Much appreciated. All right, I'm going to have Jerry AE70R read for us. John chapter 20, verses 1 through 10 there, Jerry. John chapter 21 through 10. Go ahead. All right. Chapter 20, verse 1. That was the first day of the week. Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb. It was still dark and saw stones already taken away from the tomb. So she ran and came to Simon Peter and the other disciples whom Jesus loved and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where he is. They have laid him." So Peter and the other disciples went forth, and they were going to the tomb. The two were running together, and other disciples ran ahead faster than Peter and came to the tomb first. and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings lying there, and he did not go in. And so Simon Peter came, following him, and entered the tomb, and he saw the linen wrappings lying there, and the face cut which had been on his head, not lying with the linen. with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself. So the other disciples had first come to the tomb, then also entered, and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. Thank you. Starting verse 11, 8, 8, 7, 8. Real good reading, Jerry. Thank you so much for that. All right. Any comments anybody wants to make on this first section of John chapter 20, please come down with your call for it. Well, WB7VZL. Roger. WB7VZL, please go ahead. Any time there's a missing body, Jerry, even if it wasn't Christ, it would create a stir. So this is disamplified by the circumstances, of course, that there could be no greater stir about humans. Where did they put him? Yeah, Roger, well said. Where's the body? That's the grand question. You know, if Jesus never rose from the grave, the body would be there. But not only is the body there, or not there, pardon me, what is there is the grave clothes that were wrapped around him. And, you know, as Peter looks into the tomb there, this is not a place of chaos. Things are folded up. Things are placed. There's no signs here of a grave robbery. If someone was going to rob the grave of the body, they would just pack the whole thing out. You wouldn't bother to unwrap the body and then remove it. You would just grab the body as it was wrapped up and take it out of there. So clearly not a grave robbery. And that's, of course, one of the accusations that's made. Oh, his disciples came and stole his body. Well, they stole his body. They sure wouldn't be leaving all the grave clothes behind, neatly folded and placed. They would have just taken the whole thing. So, yeah, Roger, there is a missing body. And the question is, is where is it, and how did it get out of the tomb, and what is the meaning of the fact that the grave clothes were left behind, all folded up and placed? All right, other comments, please come down. ZXN. ZXN, Kevin, go ahead. Yeah, it's wonderful how we have accounts from the different Gospels with very details included so we can learn a little bit more from each one. And you know, as we looked at a little bit yesterday or the other day, I think, from there in 16 verses 1 through 8, where he concludes really the original text of his book, ends in verse 8, where they're just amazed. They're just in awe that the grave is empty, the tomb is empty. You know, they come and they're concerned about how they're going to roll away this one to two-ton stone that they might in early pre-dawn hours you know, tend to the anointing of Jesus with spices in his body, and then to come to find that there is an angel there sitting there proclaiming that he has risen, and you'll find him in Galilee, as he's told you. Yeah. And, you know, you think about that, and I'm thinking about that account, too, because here, this is what a real account. If they were going to fake it, they certainly wouldn't have the first account be women telling the story and giving an account of the events that took place. Women during that time couldn't even. testify in court oftentimes and had a little weight as far as a witness but yet they're just telling what happened they're sharing their truth of the events and again as we talked about before the net He has risen. And one quick note, I always loved in the Word of God in the New Testament, it's revealed to us, well, who caused the risen Savior? How did he rise? Was it the power of God the Father? Was it the power of the Holy Spirit? Was it the power of Jesus himself? Well, in the New Testament, it's revealed to us that yes, it is all three. It is the triune God. And in Romans 6 and 4, and also Peter alludes to it in Acts 2 and 4, especially in Romans 6 and 4, we're told it's the glory of God the Father that raised Jesus from the dead. And then we can go on down to Romans 8:11 and we see it's the power of the Holy Spirit that raises Jesus from the dead. The same power is going to raise us one day from death. And then of course in John 10:17 and 18 it revealed that no one took His life from Him, Jesus claims, that He has the power to raise it again. He raised Himself from the dead. So He is risen and yes, it is the work of the Triune God that He is risen. Amen, Kevin. Lots of good thoughts there. Before I comment on your thoughts, I want to acknowledge Les, N6LJF, Redding, California. Les, it's been a while since we've seen your call sign. Good to have you with us on this Easter Sunday. I appreciate you being there. That's Les, N6LJF on the Half Moon Bay SDR. All right, Kevin, back to you. Yes. Yes. A number of good observations there. You know, the thing is, is that when you put all these parallel passages together, we get the whole picture. And they supply details that others don't. And one of the details is, as you said, who's going to roll the stone away? That thing weighs tons. And then the second thing is, is what happened to the soldiers who were guarding the tomb? Now, they're not mentioned in our passage here, but they certainly are over in Matthew. And then, of course, you know, the idea that the women come first, and are the first ones to see Jesus, and the first ones to testify of the Resurrection. And so when you look at all these factors, the resurrection is something that not only indisputably happened, but the way in which the narrative of historical record is described just lends a credibility to it, a normal human reaction to it, and then of course all the evidences of it. Okay, any more comments on verses 1-10 before we continue our reading? Please come down with your call sign. Uh, go ahead. Yeah, back to the stupid question of the day. First off, I want to say that both Sandy and I don't recall ever, in all of the training and education we received, the hamker chief being part of the tale or the story of Christ's resurrection. But I'm reading it, and for some reason, it's popping out at me, and I can't differentiate what it is that's going on, but there's something special being said here that I think we might be missing, but I can't figure it out. And that is that The lemon claws were lying there, is what it says. Okay, so that means they're just, you know, kind of in disarray, just kind of lying there. But for some reason, the handkerchief was folded and placed separately by itself. And that's mentioned. And I think there's something there, but I don't know what it is. Alpha Alpha 5 Yankee. Yeah, Beck, I think the significance of that is that this is not a grave robbery, okay? This is someone who got up, undressed himself, and, you know, when you get undressed, you know, you take your clothes and you do things with them. Maybe you fold them up. put them back in the drawer, maybe you put them on a hanger, maybe even put them in the laundry. You know, whatever you do with things that you take off, you take off a coat, and you just throw it on the floor, you hang the thing up. And so when I walk in your house, Beck, and I see clothing that's hung up or folded up or put away, I say to myself, "Somebody did this in a calm and orderly fashion, And they are communicating that they were alive when they placed this clothing in the way in which they did. So the significance of that cloth being folded up is that this was not a grave robbery. The person who had those things on took them off, folded them up, and laid them. in such a way that it's not a scene of chaos. You know, if somebody goes and rips the clothing off of somebody else, it's just scattered all over creation. But if somebody undresses himself, there's much more orderliness to that process. And so what's being said here is not that the grave was robbed, because if it was, they wouldn't have bothered to take the clothing off. They would have just grabbed the body and ran with it. And secondly, if for some reason they did take the clothing off, it would have just been scattered all over like chaos. And so the folded napkin and the clothing lying there, not scattered, but lying there where it belongs, is a manifestation, a proof of the resurrection, and that's why it's mentioned. Back to you there, Beck. Roger. Well, thank you, Pastor Max, for putting the final stroke on the painting so I could see the picture. I appreciate that. I'll file for 5 Yankee back in that. All right, real good, Beck. Thank you for that. Any other comments on this section? Come in. Okay, I'm fine, Beck. Thank you, Debbie. T.W.O. Mike, go ahead. Yes, Beck and Councilman. Another thing about that folded mask, and even in culture when they're at the dinner table and they're going to get up to it, do whatever they'll get a cookie and come back or whatever they're going to do if they're coming back they hold that napkin so that dishes won't be picked up i think but i know that if you hold it up that can indicate they're coming back if they're not coming back they just want it up and put it there and then it's going to be taken but uh that's one of the indications is that folded napkins i understand that it indicates also for more Well, you said too, but it indicates that they're going to come back to the tables back here. Yeah, Mike, that's interesting. That's certainly the case with our culture. You know, it's custom that if you're in the middle of a meal, get up and go somewhere, you put your napkin loosely on the chair. instead of putting it on the table so that the hostess knows that this person is coming back. They are not going to clear their plate. And so by doing that, Jesus is also saying, "I'm going to show up here again." And of course He does. And we see that in this passage. We're going to read this next section. And let's just go ahead and do that. Let's read together John 20:11-18. I'll read that section. John 20:11. begin the reading there, it says, "...but Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. And as she wept, she stooped down and looked into the tomb, and sees two angels in white sitting, the one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they said unto her, Woman, why weepest thou?" And she said unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus said unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou? And she, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, Sir, if thou hast borne him, hence tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. And Jesus said unto her, Mary. She turned herself and said unto him, Rabboni, which is to say, Master. And Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and say unto them, I ascend to my Father and to your Father and to my God and your God. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord and that he had spoken these things unto her. All right, we'll stop right there. All right, any comments on this section? And this kind of speaks to what Mike was talking about here, that the folded napkin indicated that he is coming back. And, of course, there he is. to Mary. All right, other comments, please come down. Okay, comment, please come from the last time that's out there. Okay, Whiskey Alpha 7 Fox Sugar Hotel, come ahead with your comment. And I put a little picture of my wife with the boot camp for first routine where she does this. We were on 20K before I had brought the atmosphere to my mother. And I just got a meeting with my dad. I know you are the stuff that is wrong with us because the truth lies in the answer. We have a message to the Father. QSL. QSL. Good comment. Appreciate that, Glenn. And what Glenn was saying here is that verse 17, stop clinging to me. because I've not yet ascended to my Father, but go up to my brethren and say to them, I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God. So the process wasn't complete. The ascension had yet to occur. We see the ascension occurring in Acts chapter 1. And so here she sees him. She recognizes him. He says her name. And my guess here, I'm using my imagination, okay, is that she just grabbed him with a huge hug. It just wrapped herself around him. Didn't want to ever let him go again. And he said, the process isn't done. We still have many things yet to do, one of which is to ascend to the Father. I will provide intercession. I will see my church saved. And then I will come again the second time. And then that will be the time for the fulfillment of all that I've achieved and accomplished by my resurrection. So, Glenn, WA7FSH, thank you for that comment. And it's interesting that Jesus told her that, "I'm not going to be here with you. I'm going to tend to the Father. So don't cling to me physically. Cling to me by faith. Trust me." And good comment there. All right, other comments. Please go ahead. Fox 5. QMIX 5, Foxtrot. Go ahead. Yeah, I was going to try to pull that comment into this verse 11. Peter and John looked into the tomb, but they didn't see the angels that were there apparently, because Mary, when she went in, she saw two angels. So the possibility that the angels were already there and they may have been the ones that had just fallen up the napkin and the shroud and came by them. Yeah, so the angels, Peter and John didn't see the angels, Mary did see the angels. You remember that in a parallel narrative it says that when the women came they saw angels sitting on the tombstone. And so, you know, these various parts are all woven together, and you're right. It could be the angels were the ones who folded up the clothing. It could be Jesus did it when he disrobed himself from his grave clothes, because we know that he raised himself from the grave. He said that very clearly in John chapter 10. And so the angels play a really important role in terms of explaining what's going on, confirming the supernatural nature of this event and confirming the faith of those who were there at the tomb and saw what had happened. Will, thank you for that comment. All right, other comments come up. I think I heard Mark out there. Mark, KJ7PVT. Mark, go ahead. Let's see if we can hear you. Can anybody get a copy on Mark? I'm unable to hear him. Beck, can you give us a relay? No, I cannot. Sorry. I copy. Okay, Will, QMY5 Foxtrot, can you copy Mark? No, I was not able to. Somebody else commented that they could, though. I think it was Steve. 870, your ICOS 850. Okay, go ahead there Mark and we'll listen to you by way of relay from Jerry and from Will. Okay, go ahead Mark with your comment, KJ7PVT, you got the mic. This has to do with the clock that you've been finding. The clock is probably when it's not sitting at right. I'm only glad that it's at right. We have two main engines that are instantly They are having to be together and they get to one another, and there will be a big difference between the two. They just have the same rules for you to work around, and that is the first thing that we can get to. So you can go through the rules and then have a conversation with them. And you can point them in the same direction.. Thank you. Uh, were you able to copy, Matt? Unable to copy, Jerry. Go ahead and give us a relay. I bet one of the things he said was just a clock. covering his face would have probably been stuck to his face because of the blood. One of the things about when they saw him, he was in a new body. Alright, real good. Thank you for that, Jerry. So Mark KJ7PVT is saying that Jesus' body that was buried would have been all bloody because of the crown of thorns, of course. His face would have been covered with blood, and when they put that cloth on him, it would have been stuck to his face because of the blood, as was...that's very reasonable to recognize that. But when Mary saw him, he wasn't all bloody. He was wonderful, perfect, beautiful. and without blemish. And so, yeah, there wouldn't have been, he would have been in his resurrection body and not, I mean, it's the same body, but it would have been renewed and it would have been restored and it would have been cleansed. Mark, KJ7PVT, thank you for that. Jerry, 870, or is there anything else? Go ahead. Negative. Okay, thank you for that. All right, appreciate that. KM5F. All right, any other comments on our section? Please come now. KM5F. KM5F, go ahead. Yeah, just a follow-up from Mark. I didn't catch all of what he said, but I think he was also talking about the clothes that Jesus was walking around in. KM5F. Yeah, so the clothes he was walking around in certainly weren't the clothes he was buried in. And so, you know, it talks in Revelation chapter 6 on the fifth seal there that white robes were given to every one of those martyrs who were in heaven. And so clearly there was some clothing that was given to the Lord Jesus, a robe of righteousness. It was just normal material that people could see and touch. And so, yeah, he had a new set of clothes. Where did he get those from? Well, they're supernaturally provided, just like our robes of righteousness are going to be supernaturally provided. Over and over again in Revelation it says of the souls in heaven that they're clothed in white. And so that same white robe that we're going to have is what Jesus had. Will, Keenalike 5 Foxtrot, thank you for that additional information from Mark KJ7 PVT. All right, any other comments, please come down. ZXN. Go ahead, Kevin. Well, KB7, ZXN, you know, it is wonderful accounts here that we have. And there's so much, of course, evidence that this was a real event and that we haven't got into. But the big question is, We know that, you know, as Paul recites in 1 Corinthians 15, you know, 1 through 4, especially 3 and 4, the gospel that Christ died according to the scriptures, was buried, and rose again according to the scriptures. which is probably the earliest creed, you know, of the New Testament church there, believed probably within a year, year and a half of his death, burial, and resurrection, this creed, this proclamation of the gospel. And the fact that he is raised again, that many witnessed him, I guess the question for us is, what do we do with that? What is that significance to you and I? What? What? How does that affect our future going forward? What decisions do we have to make now? KB7, is that acceptable? Yeah, Kevin, well said. The resurrection is not a historical curiosity. It is the ultimate proclamation of the truth of the Gospel. And, of course, the Gospel calls on us to respond to it. And what is the Gospel? The Gospel is that you have sinned and broken God's laws, and you're under His wrath. And Jesus came to provide us with an atonement and a redemption for that sin, which means he had to die in our place under the wrath of God, and that's why he was crucified and buried. But also he rose from the grave as a declaration that our sins had been fully atoned for, and death could no longer hold him. He took our sins on himself, and since he fully atoned for them, death had no more claim on him, and so therefore he rose to the grave. So he was delivered for our offenses and raised again for our justification, it says there in Romans chapter 4. And so what are we going to do with this resurrected Jesus? Are we going to try to suppress the resurrection like the Pharisees did? Or are we going to proclaim the resurrection, believe in the resurrected Christ as our Lord and Savior from our sins? And so, yes, Kevin, the resurrection demands a response. And that response must be one of repentance of sin and faith in Jesus as our Savior and as our Lord and the one who will provide us. with resurrection from the dead and eternal life because he's fully atoned for our sins. And when we trust in him, that atonement is applied to our personal lives. We're cleansed from the penalty of sin and thus the consequence of sin, which is death. And so that's why we look forward to a resurrection. Kevin, thank you for that comment. All right, any final comments, please come down to your call center. WB7VZL Roger, please go ahead Well, I really appreciated Kevin pointing out Mark I've been pondering that passage Thank you, Kevin and how it ends and the best news is that we don't have to rendezvous with Jesus in Galilee believe me, it's a long ways to Galilee from here. So I hope all of us had a rendezvous with our Lord. I think we did this morning already. Over. Yeah, well said. And Jesus is as close as you crying out to him. He says, "Law, I'm with you always, even to the end of the age." So that no matter where you are, you can repent of your sins, you can ask Jesus to save you from your sins, and He will do so. And what an encouragement and a blessing it is to know that Jesus is as close as the cry of a heart to Him. And He will forgive you, and He will give you eternal life. you will become a child of God, and He will take you to Heaven when you die, and resurrect your body and reunite it with your soul, and you will live forever with Him in the new Heaven and the new Earth. That's the Gospel. And as Kevin says, that's summarized in 1 Corinthians 15, and it was the earliest of the doctrinal statements. Christ died for our sins according to Scriptures. He was buried. He rose again according to the Scriptures. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. very succinct, short, doctoral statement that captures the essence of the Gospel. And so the resurrection stands at the very center of Christianity, and it provides us with the hope that we have that death is defeated and that life will be given and we will enjoy it forever. All right, we need to draw our Bible study to a conclusion today because the Vintage Military Radio Network. will be following us at 6:40, but I think we have time for one more comment. If there's any more comments anybody wants to make, please come ahead. All right, are there any final prayer requests before I go to prayer? Please come ahead. All right, well, let's go to prayer. Our kind and gracious Heavenly Father, we thank you for this Easter Sunday in which we can celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you, Father, that his resurrection proves that his atonement for sin was perfect, a complete, a final, and finished. And so, therefore, death has been defeated, and now we have eternal life given to us when we repent of our sins and trust in Jesus as our Savior. And, Father, we do trust in him. We are sorry for our sins. We repent of having sinned. committed them. We don't want to commit them anymore. But Father, we need a Savior. And we thank you that Jesus is our Savior in whom we can trust. And we thank you, Father, that He is alive today and He is able to save to the uttermost anyone who comes to God by him because he ever lived to make intercession for us. And so, Father, we just live today in great hope and anticipation of our own resurrection from the dead and having those perfect resurrected bodies where there's no more pain or sorrow or crying or death for those things are passing away. And Father, we just want to pray now today for some of the needs in our group. Lord, we just pray for our brother, K7NEB. He knows a couple friends of his who have been married for 40 years, and the husband just walked out recently. And Lord, I just pray that he would repent, that he would return. Lord, and that that marriage would be healed. I'm sure, Father, there's problems there on both sides. But, Lord, I just pray that both would repent and that there would be a healing and restoration of that marriage. Father, we just pray for George, K2KJX, and his son, Tommy, who needs housing. Pray, Lord, that you would provide them with a place they can buy, and may you guide them to a house they can afford. Father, we pray for George's wife, Sue, and her swollen thyroid. Father, there's some talk about possibly removing that. Lord, I pray that you would heal it. And Lord, I pray that Sue would know restoration of the health of her thyroid. Do a miracle, Father, in her body. Father, we continue to pray for Sandy, W7-SAB, and her healing from hip surgery. Father, rehabilitation is slow and difficult, but I pray, Lord, that she'd make some progress every day, and that in a few weeks, Lord, she would have full mobility, freedom from pain, and a new strength and agility because of this restoration of her joint. Father, we just continue to pray for Al, KJ7QQH, his wife, Jerry. They're both at a sunrise service today. That's why they're not with us. Lord, I just pray that Jerry... would know healing from her eye surgery and she'd be able to see clearly. We thank you, Father, for the good report from Jeff, AK6OK, regarding his wife, Patty. Thank you, Father, that she's doing really well, seeing well, recovering better from this surgery than she did the previous one. So, Lord, we thank you for that. Lord, we pray for Brian, KJ7PWM, that all his sheep would have healthy lambs. Father, I pray that the lambing season would end successfully and that each sheep would be healthy and well. And, Lord, that he would have a good increase in his flock through this process. Lord, I pray that Brian and his wife would be able to get some sleep. instead of having to stay up all hours of the night helping the lambs come to birth. Father, we just pray for our brother Doc, W6RLJ. Lord, pray for the government of Fiji, that island in the South Pacific, to allow his medical mission to open a dental clinic on the islands. Father, I just pray that the bureaucracy would open up and that they would be able to have this medical mission where they can not only provide dental care but the gospel to the people on that island. Lord, we pray for the Midwest Bible Study that meets at 4 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. on 3962.5 and for Darrell WB7AOT who is the net control. Lord, we just pray that you would give him wisdom in running the net and Lord, skill and ability in that regard, I pray for his health needs, Father. You know that he's had some urology issues and Lord, I pray that that part of his body would completely heal up and Lord, he would know a normal function in all areas. Father, we just wanna pray today for Ginny and her recovery from her hip replacement. Father, I just ask that you would be pleased to help her to have full mobility as well. That's a friend of Al, KJ7QQH. And then Father, Brian, KJ7PWM, his son Bailey and his partner Joey have started a new construction business. Lord, I just pray for the success of that business, that they would do well. that they would be able to provide for their families and that you would give them jobs. Lord, I just pray that you would protect them from predatory businessmen who would ever try to take advantage of them. Lord, we continue to pray for Brian's dad, Bob, who is recovering from prostate surgery. Father, may all of that heal up well and may he know real freedom. ability to function in that area father our brother Scott in seven in here prostate surgery we pray for him as well Lord we just pray for Jerry and April Langley in Africa will you like five fog strata could pray for them and their protection father many places in Africa you risk your life literally by preaching the gospel that father made the enemies of the gospel be relieved from harming these two believers. Father, we continue to pray for Jay, Brian K7ZIP's friend, who is receiving chemo for prostate cancer. And, Father, he's got more treatments to go. They're going to wind up in June. And, Lord, I just pray that this chemo treatment would eradicate the cancer from his body. Lord, give Jay strength and protection, Father, from the side effects of that chemo treatment. Father, we just pray for Kevin and his ministry there to Harvey and Karen. Lord, I just pray that you would be pleased to have mercy on them. It seems like Kevin gave us an update on Harvey. Lord, that you would give him strength to be able to be the chief nurse. Subtitles by the Ambient. for Sandy as she's healing from hip surgery. Father, thank you for marriage. And thank you that we can each help one another, both in sickness and in health. And now, Lord, we just pray for our nation. Father, we've got a war going on in Iran. There's one going on in Russia. There's an uneasy peace in Gaza. Lord, I just pray for our nation and its leaders, that they would have wisdom in the policy choices that they make. Father, give us good leaders. And Lord, we pray that judges would rule righteously instead of wickedly. And Lord, we just pray for any legislation that's introduced at the local, state, and national level that would be God-honoring. and be a blessing to the people and not just serve the interests of a few, but what's best for the entire nation. Lord, we just pray today for Roger, WB7VCL, as they pass out these loaves and communicate about the bread of life that rose from the grave. And, Lord, I pray that there would be not only good reception, but open hearts. And Lord, may many become saved today as a result of the ministry of Roger and his church in passing out loaves and tracts celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Lord, we just pray for Craig, that Roger's ongoing ministry to him would be effective. And Lord, I pray that... they would be able to understand together the teachings of the Bible accurately. And then we pray for our brother Lee, AL7KG. Father, he's involved in this business of buying and selling books. Lord, I pray that that would go really well for him. Lord, as he ages... He's unable to do the kind of physical labor he used to be able to do. So, Father, provide him with another avenue of income. And if the book selling is it, then, Lord, I pray that that would just flourish. And that you would give me wisdom in handling all the transactions and things that are involved there. And now, Lord, we just want to thank you for your goodness, your mercy, and your grace to each one of us. And for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ. May you be with our pastors today and the churches as they preach on the resurrection. And Lord, we just pray that Jesus would be exalted and that his people would be encouraged and filled with hope and joy and peace once again in believing as they reflect on their resurrected Savior and the promise that his resurrection is of our resurrection in that great day. Father, we live in hope of the day when we shall see him face to face. And Lord, we shall be like him. Father, we just ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen. and then pray for grace and wisdom to live out what we learn and for God to meet the needs of those in our circle of fellowship.
